Heartbeat (JUSTIN W. Remix) - Childish Gambino

When I saw this remix, I instantly thought that JUSTIN W. had jumped on the beat, and spit some bars, but when I pressed play, I was pleasantly surprised. JUSTIN W. takes Gambino's track and gives it a whole new and amazing feel. He mixes it up and gives it almost an electro/house vibe that actually sounds fantastic. This really shows off how diverse of an artist he is. Anyway, this is one you should not miss, so enjoy it.

The Spotlight - Logic

Now this is someone to really watch. In case you aren't yet, you need to be familiar with Logic, an amazing emcee out of Maryland. I actually believe that his mixtape, Young Sinatra, that he dropped back in September was one of the best mixtapes of the year. He's got Great lyricism, great samples, and fantastic flow, and once again, he proves all that with this track, so enjoy it.

Dear No One - Truth Himself

Another drop off of Truth Himself's After School Special. He is officially on week 3, and he is still killing it. Once again, he tells a gorgeous story, but that is expected at this point. Truth is honestly gaining some serious ground in becoming one of my favorite artists out right now, so you should definitely get familiar. Anyway, enjoy the great new track.

N****s in Poorest - Yasiin Bey (Mos Def)

In case you haven't heard yet, Mos Def is officially known as Yasiin Bey now. As he said, "that period in my life is over". Now that that's all cleared up, here is Mos Def's (I'm sorry, but that's what he'll always be for me) latest and it's pretty heavy. He takes on, you guessed it, Ni**as In Paris, and flips it on it's head. Pretty much lyrically, the complete opposite of the original. I'm still kind of on the fence for this one, so make up your own mind about it. In case the title or my description didn't get you to watch this, maybe this quote will:
"Fake Gucci, my ni**a.  Fake Louis, my killa. Real drugs, my dealer. Who the f*ck is Margiela. Doctors say I'm the illest, I ain't got no insurance, It's them ni**as who poorest, be them rebel guerrillas."
Enjoy.

Breathe - Iron Solomon

I am so glad that my buddy told me about Iron Solomon, because if he hadn't I would have never heard wicked tracks like this one. This gem is off his upcoming debut album, Monster, which if it sounds anything like this (or his last track with Talib Kweli), I will be all over it. Iron Solomon, in case you missed the last drop, has amazing lyricism and flow. He has a sound that reminds me a bit of Crooked I, which is dope if you ask me. Anyway, enjoy the new track.

Feel Alive - PropaneLV

Brand new track from PropaneLV, and it's a dope one. In case you've been sleeping, LV is a dope up and comer out of Portland, OR. He's got a wicked flow, and always manages to create really enjoyable tracks. Propane kills this with smooth flow and an amazing hook. Definitely don't sleep on this one.
