I think I expected a lot more out of this track. Not that it's bad, it's just not exactly what I expected. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if it had been a bit longer (and the minute long instrumental was cut). Anyway, check out the new track from Posner & Tity Boi.

I think I've officially become an Angel Haze fan. When I first heard this one, I really didn't know what to think. Something about it just sounded off, but then the more I listened to it, the more I became addicted. Now I can't stop listening. Varsity Blues (Album) - PropaneLv

Months and months of waiting has finally come down to this moment. PropaneLv has been on my radar for quite some time now (it was almost 2 years ago now that he released his track Rearview), so it's fantastic to finally hear his debut album. We've heard countless tracks from him over the last couple years, many of which being remixes (he actually released a fantastic tape of all/most of them, Letter To The Industry, back in July), but to hear all these completely original tracks in one place really is something else. Seriously, do yourself a favor and check this album out, because I promise that you won't be disappointed after pressing play.

Breakfast - Ground Up ft. G-Eazy

When I spotted this new drop from Ground Up, I wasn't quite sure what to think. Now I like to think that I know these artists pretty well at this point (both G-Eazy and the guys from Ground Up), and over the years they've each developed their own fantastic sounds. But that being said, each has their own distinct vibe, and I really wouldn't have ever thought that they would have worked on a track together. When I pressed play though, all my doubts were dissolved. This track is straight fire from everyone involved. Don't sleep on this one.

I'm going to start this one by saying I'M sorry. I've been sleeping on KJ Hines for a while now, but now that I've finally woken up, I would like to formally introduce you to him. Originally from Austin TX, he's now based out of The ATL, and he's got a great mix of that new school, Beast Coast, Chance The Rapper vibe with a bit of that classic southern hip hop swag. Since first hearing the track Orange Soda back in June, I've been anxiously waiting for Vic Mensa to release his newest mixtape Innanetape. . Well the day's finally here, and this project is everything that I was hoping it would be and more. Each track manages to showcase Vic's skills in different ways. Honestly, I have a feeling that this tape will really put Vic Mensa on the map, so definitely prepare to see his name pop up in more places. Enjoy.

This latest makes Vic sound more like Chance The Rapper than he ever has before, but it's actually probably my favorite that I've heard from him. Grand Theft Audio V (Mixtape) - DJ Cash VII

Spotted this new tape hosted by GMAD a few day ago, but to be honest, I really didn't think too much about when I did. The couple of tracks I buzzed through were kind of underwhelming, and being the short attention span blogger I am, I didn't look past those first couple. Just yesterday though, I spotted a new track from one of my favorite artists, Raz Simone, and saw that it was off this new Grand Theft Audio V mixtape, so after that, I decided to give it another go. I'm glad I did, because even though there are a few subpar tracks, there's more than a few brand new tracks from fantastic artists that I would have missed out on otherwise. As I said, one of those artists is Raz Simone, but there's also Futuristic, Ground Up, Jitta On The Track and Jon Connor just to name a few. Check this one out below.
