My Days - Kids these Days

Alright people, good morning, hope the week was all good for you, know it was for me. The weekend is now here, so lets get down to it. This is a track by a group named Kids These Days out of Chi city. They are a group which consists of 3 people on horns, a rapper, a blue/rock trio and a female vocalist. They are releasing an EP in December i believe, so i'm looking forward to checking that out for sure. Pretty cool stuff, a solid video, and a really relaxing jam to start the weekend off. Enjoy.

Wow. Just Wow... this song is incredible. I downloaded the mixtape While You Were Sleeping by Trey Palms a couple weeks ago, but haven't gotten around to really listening to it until now. As i sit here studying for finals, this song comes on, Hip Hop; You broke My Heart, and i was officially blown away with this guy. I have said it already butthis song in incredible. Dubbin Home - Sketch & Omar LinX

I posted a song a couple days ago by Zed'd Dead and Omar LinX, which was a heavy dub-hop song, and i loved it. Saw this one online and i was intrigued instantly. This song is tight. They grab the sample from Dallas Greene's, Coming Home, speed it up a little, throw a golden dub-hop beat on it and spit like theres no tomorrow. You should defiantly grab this while its hot. Ever since then i have been waiting for another song to come out that would solidify this kid in my books, and here it is. Turn Around - Ground Up

It's been a slow day, i know. Finals coming up fast, just been busy as all hell. For today i decided to drop a bit of an older song on ya. It's called Turn Around by Ground Up. I really didn't know anything about these guys until i heard their song "Fast Enough", which then peaked my interest. Who Dat - Futuristic

To be honest, i don't know anything about this kid. I saw this on a message board somewhere, and my first thoughts were, who is this, and why is he going to try going over a J. Cole classic? but i decided to give it a listen anyway. Final thought: dope stuff, Futuristic kills it. I'm really impressed by this song, and i'm defiantly  gonna be on the look out for more from this guy.

I could say this song is deep, really heavy stuff, but its not. But I can say that its upbeat, catchy, and it will give you a motto you can live by for the rest of your life. So you know what? Fuck it, Smile.

For the last... well honestly i think i have lost count... but somewhere around 45 weeks, every Friday, this guy has been releasing a new freestyle. This song is sick. Once you get past Alvin and the Chipmunks opening, it turns into a sick song. These guys have wicked flow, this beat is tight, and just overall a well done song. I really haven't heard anything about these guys, but if Fortune Family keeps putting out tracks like this, they will definatly be added to the playlist.
