Where's Waldo? (Mixtape) - SonReal

SonReal has blown up. He released a video for his song, Already There ft. Rich Kidd, and it's actually in the top 30 on much music, which is pretty huge. Already There was a single of his mixtape entitled "The Lightyear Mixtape" he released back in July 2010. I actually posted this mixtape back in Decemeber, and I really dug it. SonReal released this mixtape a couple days ago, and i just got around to listening to it today, and I'm digging this one too. You can tell that a lot of heart and thought went into "Where's Waldo?". Attention Delegate (Compilation Album) - Wale

I am a huge fan of Wale. I think his sound is dope, and I really believe he should be much bigger than he is. He has potential to be huge, and not just in the blogging world, but seriously mainstream. I have been following him forever, ever since I heard "Nike Boots" back in '07. Ever since then I have been all over every single joint he released. That all being said, when a link to Artistic Manifesto's compilation Attention Delegate, I was thrilled. This is how the email I was sent explains the album:

"This is what his first album should have been.  It’s delegate now, not deficit, because with the selections we handpicked from mixtapes, remixes, mash-ups, and the album itself, there would no longer be a lack of attention for the superbly talented artist.  See the full spectrum of Wale Folarin from start to finish with Artistic Manifesto’s “Attention Delegate.”

More than a few of my favorites were included on this album, so it was incredibly hard to choose, but I picked out a couple tastes for you. This is an amazing compilation to add to any collection. Enjoy.

Sick new Justin W. His last project I posted was his dope mixtape Gone Till November. He just released this awesome (get it?) song. The beat is unreal, reminds me of the old school side scrolling games, and his rapping is tight as always. I still don't understand why more blogs aren't all over his stuff. Dope new track from AudioDax. In case you haven't heard of them, AudioDax is a two man Electronic Hip Hop band made up of members Thomas Balcom (Temble) and Matt Rivera (Krypton Flo). They put together really good music, and I have been following them ever since I heard their song "Make Noise". Check this new one out. Enjoy.

The Drive In (Mixtape) - The Dean's List

It's finally here. The highly antisipated mixtape from The Dean's List. This was well worth the wait. The Dean's List have really matured as artists since their Undeclared mixtape. Not saying that they were immature on Undeclared (which is a dope mixtape as well, so pick it up if you don't have it already), but their sound has grown up. Their lyrics are extremely thoughtful and creative on this tape, and their beats are very well put together and are catchy as hell. Grab this one for sure. As always, I've included a couple favorites. Enjoy this one, because I know I am, and will be for a while.
