Now this is sick. Ill flow that goes non stop, over a dope beat, all teamed with a surprisingly catchy hook. Kixxie Siete teams up with fellow Yacht Club member, Artie McCraft, and absolutely wrecks this joint. Real hip hop right here. Enjoy this one.
Perfect track for you to get pumped for your Saturday night. Ryan Hemsworth is a fantastic artist/producer out of my hometown, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and he's really making waves in the game. A while ago, he dropped a mixtape with Shady Blaze, which was dope, so definitely check that out. Anyways, here's the real reason why you checked this out: B.I.G. vs. Ace Of Base? I think so. Ryan did this joint a few years back, but it just popped up on my radar, so I figured I would share it with you. Enjoy.
It's been a minute since we've heard from Kas, but it was well worth the wait. Floyd Mayweather is a head bobbin joint that's real catchy, and has some dope flow all through it. Don't miss it, and be on the watch for more from Kas. Enjoy.
I'll admit it, Lupe is getting a little too political for me. Yes, I understand that hiphop started as a movement for change, but in all honesty, sometimes you that can turn a little preachy, and Lupe is starting to get there for me. Yes, I still think he's an amazing artist, and yes, he still has amazing tracks. This is the mixtape that I talked about before that Lupe was planning on releasing, and let me tell you, I may like it better than Lasers (which fell short for me). Yes, Lasers had some insane tracks, but the rest were clearly rushed, and even Lupe was disappointed with it. Anyway, enough of me blabbering about old new, so here's the new. Enjoy it.
I posted this song a ways back when these guys first hit the scene, and just a little bit ago, they dropped the official video for it. I will admit, I hate when videos don't have the song right away, but you know what, I can forgive it this time. The actual track starts one minute in, and after that, its one big treat for you ears. In case you missed it, The Original Rudeboys are a trio out of the inner city of Dublin, and just came together back in March. These guys are have made a huge name for themselves in the short time they have been around, so expect to see their name more often. Anyway, enjoy the visuals.
So glad Uno Hype is back on his grind. This new track doesn't disappoint, because it filled with smooth flow, with some great subtle instrumentals to back up his fantastic lyricism. This one isn't actually off his upcoming EP F*ck The Hype, but it's a great teaser for it. I've said it before, but you really should watch out for this kid, because he has great skills as an artist. Enjoy it.
Another drop off Jay Fresh's upcoming tape, The Delta Project. His last track, Amazing, was fantastic, so I expected a lot from his next drop. Jay didn't disappoint with his wicked flow and delivery on Just A Dream. I'm really excited for this tape, so you should be too. Enjoy.
IanJ just dropped a brand new track, and it is fantastic. The beat is really catchy, the hook is fantastic and IanJ kills it overall. Great new track, so don't sleep. Enjoy.
New joint from the always dope, Ground Up. This one is off their upcoming mini mixtape (which I had no idea was even in the works) Romantic Comedy. I have heard just a few "mini-mixtapes" over the years, and every single one has been really sick, so if the rest of the tape sounds anything like this, I will be all over it. Enjoy it, and be on the watch for Romantic Comedy dropping the 29th.
Wow. Another fantastic new track from AudioDax. Still hot off Smile (seeing as they just released it LAST week), AudioDax gives us another great track. I think I figured out what it is about these guys that I love so much. It's their original, and consistently fresh sound. Check out the new one, and enjoy it.
Yeah, you read it right. Bussa Buss jumps on the Kendrick Lamar joint Rigamortis for a verse, and to no surprise, he tears it to shreds. I always forgot, even though I really shouldn't, how dope Busta is. Anyway, enjoy the remix.
This may be old new to some of you (because you know, a release from 2 days ago is "old"), but this new mixtape from Mike Posner is unreal. When I first heard that Mike Posner was dropping a tape, I was kind of apprehensive, I admit it. It wasn't for any reason in particular to be honest, just didn't really think much of it. Little did I know that The Layover was going to be this sick. I seriously dig every track on this one. Mike Posner really tears the entire tape apart. He grabs features from guys like Big K.R.I.T., Twista, CyHi, and Bei Maejor just to name a few, but he also kills his solo tracks too. Very glad I checked this one out. Enjoy it.
Once again, Collin blesses us with a fantastic cover. This time, he gives us his take on Gavin Degraw's latest single, Not Over You, and to be honest, I love it. But really, is that any surprise to anyone? I didn't think so. Enjoy this one.
Wow. This is so sick. Pretty Lights takes the classic joint from Run DMC, flips it, spins it a couple times, then kills it. Seriously sick. Don't sleep on this one.
Great "new" track from Sol. WTF is actually off his latest release, Dear Friends, Vol III, but Sol dropped this remix done by Smile Future earlier today. I loved the original, but this remix is just so smooth, and so catchy, you can't help but enjoy it. Check this one out for sure. Enjoy.
