Happy Birthday (Mixtape) - IanJ

IanJ dropped his tape Happy Birthday a couple day ago, and I just got a chance to sit down and give it a listen today because I've been crazy busy with finals. Anyway, you probably wondering what I thought of it. Overall, pretty solid mixtape. Happy Birthday is pretty diverse. It's got a few pop tracks, a couple mellow joints, a few with some dope flow, and some with some heavy emotion. Over the last few drops from IanJ, I feel like we've really heard him start to mature into his sound, which is sick. Anyway, here are a couple of my favs, then you can cop the entire tape from the guys over at GMAD.

Believe Me Son - PropaneLV & Pmac

His name is starting to pop up everywhere. PropaneLV. With each track I hear, I get more and more into his sound. This time, he teams up with Pmac (who has kind of been absent from the scene for the last little while) and gives us a dope track. PropaneLV's flow is dope, and has real weight to it, and Pmac is smooth and frosty as always. Overall, a dope track. Enjoy it.

Strange Ways - Leia Sadiku ft. Dante CK

A little different than what I normally post. This joint has more of an indie feel to it than what I'm used to, but I'm enjoying it a lot. Leia has an amazing voice that just floats out of the speakers. Strange Ways is, pardon the pun, but strangely addicting. Check this one out for sure. Plus, in case you don't recognize her name, she was on a track with YP and Brenton Duvall, which is pretty dope in my books. Enjoy.

Your Body (Unreleased Sex Ray Vision Remix) - De-Lor

I couldn't pass up on this one. First reason, I'm a huge fan of De-Lor, his sound is just fantastic. Second reason, it's a SRV remix, so it's bound to be dope. Your Body is actually off De-Lor's J'adore mixtape, but from what I gather, he and the boys in SRV got together and did this track as well during the production of J'adore, but I guess it didn't make the cut. Don't sleep on this one. Enjoy.

Would You Follow Me? - Kinetics & One Love ft. Deuce Broadway

I have listened to this song a ridiculous amount of times since I downloaded it. I'm hooked. The spit is so smooth, the beat is so dope, the flow is just perfect (from Kinetics & Deuce). In all honesty, this song is unreal. Kinetics & One Love prove once again why they are one of my favorite teams in the game right now. In other news, get excited for their album dropping in January. All I Do - Dylan Owen

Wow. That's all I can say. Dylan Owen recently entered a contest, "Sheeps, Jeeps and Beats" (put on by John Kilmer) where he had to spit over a quick beat put out by Kilmer himself. When all was said and done, Kilmer and guest judge Mike Stud, couldn't decide on a single winner, so Dylan tied with someone else. To decide the winner, a challenge was put forth. In 1 week, on a given beat, who could make the best track. This right here is that track. Now, I haven't heard the other guys, but this track is INSANE, so I'm thinking he's gonna win it. Anyway, enjoy this one.

Never Had Time - Ja Rule

Yeah, that's right. You read that correctly. No, hell hasn't frozen over, and no, pig are not flying. Ja Rule is back, and let me say, he's still got it. Now, haters can hate, but I have always been a fan of Ja. I think it's because he has a sound that is so distinguishable, and as you all know, I dig that. Well, I'm not going to hype this one any more, I'll just say that it's a leak off his upcoming album Pain Is Love 2, so get excited for more Ja Rule. Enjoy.

Now this is just perfect. I got an email earlier today with this gem in it, and after listening, I was promptly blown away. I hadn't heard of Suns Of Society, but from what I am told, they are a group originally from Virginia, who came together after "a string of random events". Regardless of how these guys came together, what really matters is the music right? Right. The music is fantastic, plain and simple. It's so smooth and so enjoyable, the perfect track for you to just sit back, relax and listen. If these guys keep up with this sound, I will be on the watch for sure. Enjoy it.

Strange Clouds (Video) - B.o.B. ft. Lil Wayne

This got released a couple days ago, but I had to wait for a youtube drop, so here it is, the official visuals for Strange Clouds. To be honest, I wasn't overly impressed with the video. Dope track, no doubt, but I expected something big, but what we actually got was just the guys in a field, looking up constantly. Anyway, enjoy the video.

Switchblade (Video) - Timeflies

No, this isn't our regular Timeflies Tuesday. Instead, Timeflies decided to drop the official video for their amazing track, Switchblade, along with their normal Timeflies freestyle. Now, first the video for Switchblade. In case you didn't know, Timeflies got some MAJOR exposure the other night on fox with this track, so it was only fitting that they drop the visuals. And second, in celebration of this accomplishment, their freestyle is all about the Big 10. Enjoy that one below. And if you haven't, go cop The Scotch Tape, because you won't be disappointed.

The Dream - Logic

In celebration of 10,00 fans on FB, Logic dropped this little gem. He goes hard over the Bank Bank Hank beat, and wrecks it. Great joint, but my only complaint is the last minute and a half of the track is some other random song instrumentals. Kind of out of place, but dope track otherwise. Enjoy it.

I need to learn to sing like Posner. Case and point, this video. Mike dropped some visuals for one of the many dope tracks on The Layover, minus Big K.R.I.T for some reason... but I won't ask questions. Enjoy the visuals, and if you haven't yet, go cop The Layover, because I know you'll love it.

Don't Stop This Feeling - The Two Friends

Alright, don't judge this one on the photo above. The Two Friends, in case you don't recognize the name, are a couple of guys who have put out some dope production, and are now making a name for themselves in the mash/bootleg game. This time they splice together Flo-rida's track Good Feelin' with One Republic's Stop and Stare. Great track that perfect to get pumped to, so enjoy it.

Crawl Back - M.i

He's back. M.i's last drop was some visuals for his dope track After I'm Gone, off his mixtape Prep Time, and that was all the way back in May, so it's been a little while since we've heard from him. Clearly mdoti has been working on something pretty special, and this is it. Crawl Back is the first drop off, what I can gather, his upcoming mixtape, The Coldplay Sessions. Dope.
