The Scotch Teaser - Timeflies

Normally I hate posting "teasers", but this time I can make an exception. This time, it's because I'm unbelievably pumped The Scotch Tape from Timeflies. There are 3 little snippits of tracks off of The Scotch Tape in this little video, and they all sound wicked. Take a listen, then get excited.

Pumped Up Kicks (Remix) - Quincy Kwalae

Once again, a new sound from the ever changing Quincy Kwalae. His sound is like the bubble gum from charlie and the chocolate factory, it just keeps on changing, but is always so good. He took the track from Foster The People, mixed it up, and gave it a whole new, dope feel. With each new track, QK is really impressing me, so once again, watch out for more from him. Enjoy.

Can't Get Enough - J. Cole ft. Trey Songz

Any new Cole is great Cole. This, from what I gather, is another drop of Cole's upcoming album, which from the sound of all these leaks (and word that Jay Z will be featured on a track), it's going to be unreal. I said it last time, but I'm going to say it again, 2011 is Cole's year, so if your not familiar, get. Cole spits non stop quick lines on this one, and then grabs Trey Songz for a feature. Great track, so enjoy.

In My Arms - Edward Maya

Not my usual post, but I heard this and I figured it needed to be shared. It's a new Edward Maya joint, and it sounds exactly like every other Edward Maya song, but not in a bad way. Enjoy.

On My Way (Video + MP3) - Mike Stud ft. Rich Young

New track from Mike Stud, and it's straight fire. I feel like with every track he drops, he just keeps on getting better.  This track is one of my favorites to date. The theme of the whole song is how Mike Stud is finally making it (or at least on his way. HA. Get it?), and it honestly doesn't even come off sounding cocky, which is kind of surprising because you would expect a song with this message to sound really cocky. Stud's flow is mint as always, his lyrics are sharp, and Rich Young on the hook is catchy as hell. Overall, a great track, so enjoy.

Lift Off - New Linen

I like to think that I have been supporting New Linen since near the beginning. I probably haven't really been, but I like to think that way. I have actually listened to them mature into their sound since their first track (that I heard), By Your Side, and I love where they are going with their music. Anyway, here's a great new track from the guys. It's their first single off their upcoming mixtape, Merp Nation, which is scheduled to be released August 5th. Enjoy.

Dro, I Love You So - MDH

It's been a minute since we've seen anything from MDH, but it was for a good reason. The boys were working on their latest album, Overture, which was scheduled for release today. Due to some issues with the studio doing the final mixing of the album, they haven't been able to release it yet unfortunately . As somewhat of a consolation prize, they have released a track from Overture. Once again, a great track, filled with the MDH's signature sound. Enjoy the free track, and then get ready for their album, coming soon.

Scream - SonReal

Another dope track from SonReal. This time, he slows it down a little bit, but still goes hard. It's one of those tracks that you just want to sit back and vibe to. I know I have said it before, but I love SonReal's sound. He's one of those guys who is truly different than all the other artists out there. His sound is an original one, and it's great. Anyway, here's the track, so enjoy it.

From 90 Till Infinity - Kiddo

I got sent an email about this guy a couple days ago. I don't know how I have missed out on him before, because he's really been on his grind. Kiddo has put out 8 mixtapes, and has actually amassed over 2600 fans on facebook. That right there is a win in my books. In the email that I got, it had a few songs that were pretty good, so I decided to give Kiddo a little more of a check out. I ended up digging through his soundcloud and found this gem. When I first spotted the title, I needed to hear it. '93 Till Infinity is easily one of my favorite songs of all time. I pressed play and I was actually pleasantly surprised. Kiddo's got a great smooth flow. He's releasing a mixtape sometime at the end of summer / start of school entitled This Is Not A Mixtape 2, which from the sound of this track (as well as his newer ones) will be pretty dope. Anyway, enjoy the track.

If you like it, check Kiddo out on Facebook and Twitter

Liar Liar (Remix) (Video) - PJ Simas

Hot new visuals from the always dope, PJ Simas. This time he put together a simple video for his wicked remix of Liar Liar, completely shot at Disney Land. Yeah, that's right, I said Disney Land. Some real #DisneyLandSwag going on here. I love how throughout the entire video, you see random people looking so curiously, and probably wondering what the hell is going on. Great video, from a great artist. Enjoy, and if you haven't, grab the track below.

Leap Year (Mixtape) - Hoodie Allen

This right here, is the pride and joy of Hoodie Allen right now. This whole tape is really a look into his life up to this point. One thing that I didn't actually know about Hoodie Allen is that he actually worked at google, but then quit his job to pursue his true passion, great music. I'm pretty sure Hoodie Allen has been added to my list of great artists right now. Not just for his great music, or his great lyrical ability, but because he's so real. He's true to himself, and doesn't fake it. He sends out his own emails, he replies to ALL his fans tweets, he appreciates all the support he gets, and I really respect that. Anyway, enough about me gushing about Hoodie Allen, I'll just let you listen to a few songs from Leap Year, then you need to go download it. Enjoy.

Song For An Actress - Hoodie Allen

#WhiteGirlProblems - Hoodie Allen

Can't Hold Me Down - Hoodie Allen ft. Tayyib Ali

Flipping Out - Hoodie Allen

Download: Leap Year

Black & Gold - Quincy Kwalae

I feel like the wub wub is growing on me. I remember the day when dubstep bugged the hell out of me. Now I find myself raging to dubstep on a regular basis. So when Quincy hit me with this track, I was all over it. From what he tells me, he heard the original version from Sam Sparro, and he got hooked. He put together the track a while ago, but just recently got around to mastering it, and let me tell you, I'm addicted to it. Great track, from a great artist who continues to keep it fresh. Enjoy it.

Feelin' Like Ooh - Easy Does It

This is unreal. Another track that transcends genres in my opinion. Mix in some Hip-Hop with Acoustic with some Rock, and then splash in some summer feel, and you have this track. Easy Does It are a group of guys out of Atlantic City, NJ. They sent this track my way after seeing that I had posted Collin McLoughlin’s cover of Stereo Hearts, along with a cover of theirs as well. The main track that they wanted me to check out was their cover of a new RHCP track, The Adventures of Raindance Maggie. To be honest, I didn't actually like the original track, so I wasn't a HUGE fan of their cover. I definitely liked it a lot more than the original, and the track/video was extremely well done, but I just wasn't a fan of the track in general. BUT, on a nicer note, I loved this track of their that they included at the bottom of the email. Great sound, so I have high hopes for these guys. Enjoy the track, then check them out on facebook, twitter or their own site.

AND, in case your curious, here's their cover of RHCP:

Dear Friends, Vol III (EP) - Sol

After his last track that I posted  a couple days ago, The Times, got great reviews, I figured I would drop Sol's EP that he just released. Honestly, I really like it. Sol's voice and flow are just so smooth, and so enjoyable to listen to. This whole EP lived up to my expectations. Check out a couple of my favs, expect more from Sol to come, and enjoy the EP.

For The Love - Sol ft. Dice

Addicted - Sol

Download: Dear Friends, Vol III

Deliliah (Diplo Remix) - Mavado

Now, I don't usually post tracks like this, but the second I heard it, I was hooked. So smooth. I have heard a couple Diplo remixes in the past, but this one is sick. The others that I have heard have been a bit more electro/dub than what I'm a fan of, but this track has the perfect blend. Something for you to crank up, and vibe out to. Enjoy.

Fame - BBNR!

BBNR! AKA Business Boys Never Rest, have been flying under my radar for some time now. Every time I heard word about them, it's always on a busy day. I know, I seem to make that excuse a lot, but it's the truth I swear. I'm just one man, I can only do so much. Anyway, I finally have had some time to check these guys out, and I actually really dig their sound. BBNR consists of 3 guys out of Everett, Washington. Kris Cooley and Savelli for vocals, and Marcisgatsby for the dope production. If the rest of their stuff sounds anything like this track, I will be all over their Villains EP, which is dropping 08/09/11. Enjoy the joint.

Take It Apart - Kyle Lucas & Captain Midnite ft. Murder Dice

This track is so sick. This one is another drop off Kyle Lucas & Captain Midnite's upcoming project, which from the sounds of this track plus the great sound of their last one, is going to be unreal. The Sky Is Falling And I'm Fine is going to be released soon hopefully, because honestly, all this track did was whet my appetite because it was so sick. Anyway, great track once again, so enjoy it.

Rhythm - Adam K ft. JayR

It took me a couple listens, but this track is actually pretty catchy. Adam K sent this joint my way a couple days ago, and whenever I would sit down to listen to it, I would only listen to the first few seconds, then I would get pulled away to do something else, so I haven't given it a good listen until tonight. I liked it. I thought Adam K might have been just a single track wonder, but with this track he's showing some serious growth as an artist. He's starting to grow into his sound a little bit more. Plus, JayR does his thing real well on the joint as well. Anyway, enjoy the track.

Best Day Ever (Video) - Mac Miller

One of my favorite tracks of his recent mixtape of the same name. I will admit, I never like it when instead of getting into the actual video, artists put up some too long opening. In this case, Rex Arrow Films puts together a great video, but the opening of Mac as a kid was just a little too long for me. That aside, a cool video for a good track. Enjoy, and if you haven't, check out the mixtape below.

The Times - Sol ft. Grieves & Budo

I've been on the watch for another joint from Sol for a while now. Ever since I heard him on Grynch's track, All I Wanna Do. This track is dope. Sol absolutely kills this joint, and Grieves holds his own as well. I'll be honest, I don't know much about the track, or the up coming mixtape that this is from. All I know is that this track has a wicked beat, great hook, smooth flow and a catchy tune, so it's all good in my books. Enjoy.

Wings (Video) - Macklemore & Ryan Lewis

So good. When I first heard the song, I was blown away, because I'm honestly a huge sneaker head, so it hit me hard. When I heard that Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were raising money so that they could do the video  the way that they wanted to do it, I got excited. Here is their final product, and it really is a visual masterpiece. I felt like I was watching a movie. Anyway, it's a great video for and amazing track, so check it out.

Rebuild - e-dubble

I love e-dubble. He's back again with another great track. He is one of those artists who is consistently great. One of those guys who, if he puts out a new song, I don't even need to listen to it to know it's good. This track is one of those. Plus, he's always original, doesn't just rap about the same old shit that everyone else does, and he always has a message. "Life is like Lego's, gotta keep building, smash that building, then rebuild it". Enjoy it.

T-Shirt Ideas + Actual Domain Name

All right guys. I've been tossing around the idea of doing T-Shirts for a little while now, and from what I have seen, it has gotten some pretty positive feedback. I'm in the final stages of figuring out a design/colors, so I'm looking for some more feedback. Up above is the main idea I'm thinking, with possibly another much smaller logo on the back of the neck (or HotLeaks.net if I decide to buy that domain name). Below, I'm going to toss up a couple other colors/ideas.
A white T version...

A completely different logo, really rough, just tossed it together for another possible idea

And my final order of business thats NON music related, is I would like to get some final thoughts on an official blog domain. It's looking like it's going to be "HotLeaks.net", so i just want to know if you like it or not.

ANYWAY, all ideas/thoughts, either send em via email to HotLeaks@hotmail.com, or just in the comment box below. Thanks a ton for checking out HotLeaks. Now, i'll get back to the music

Blazed & Confused (Mini-Mixtape) - Cam Meekins

A little late on this one, but it was kind of out of the blue. Cam dropped this little mixtape a couple days ago, and it's actually not bad. This mini-tape should hold us all over until he drops his new project. Cam is another one of those guys who I have been following for a while. Ever since I heard his mixtape, Cam Meekin's Day Off, I was hooked, and have been watching out for him ever since. I have heard him really grow into his sound since then, and he's turned into someone to really watch out for. Anyway, enjoy.

Purple - Cam Meekins

Can't Really Make You Love Me - Trey Palms

Trey Palms can do no wrong. Every track I have ever heard from him has been perfect. This one is no different. I have always been a fan of the sample he uses, but I hated the "rapping" on the original track. The hook was catchy as hell, so with some flow from Trey, it's dope. Enjoy.

California - Radical Something

I am so glad this track is great. After Radical Something's last track, I was kind of disappointed. Like I said last time, not that it was a bad track, it just wasn't as good as the previous. After hearing this track, I am once again, in love with the musical movement that is Radical Something. California holds true to it's name, and is another great summer track. Once again, a must on the summer playlist. Enjoy the track.

Houdini - Skizzy Mars

Did I not tell you or what? Skizzy was going to take off, and it was going to be a great summer of Skizzy Mars. This time, he jumps on the track Houdini from Foster The People's. Once again, he kills it. I told you this before, but here I go again, watch out for Skizzy Mars. Enjoy the new joint.

Otis - Jay Z & Kanye West

This track is soooooooo much better than H.A.M. When I first heard that Jay and Ye were teaming up for a huge colabo album, Watch The Throne, I had mixed feelings. On one hand, two huge names were bound to make great music, but on the other hand, I was worried that the two big heads in the game might just get too cocky and create crappy music. After I heard H.A.M, I thought the album was doomed. This old school feel track re-invigorated my hope for Watch The Throne. Fingers crossed for a great album. Enjoy.

The Chase Is On (Video + MP3) - Hoodie Allen

Some long awaited new Hoodie Allen for you. Once again, he puts together an amazing track, with a great video to go along with it. In case you didn't know, I actually credit Hoodie Allen with helping me to start this little website of mine. He didn't actually physically help me with it, but his music was actually what started me into the whole new world of hip-hop. I had been strictly into stuff like Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Ludacris and other big names in the rap game. After a friend of mine showed me his mixtape Prep Rally, which I was blown away by, I started looking for more music from artists like him. The start of HotLeaks was a simple campus radio show, and for my first 5 shows, I had always played at least 1 (or 2 in some cases) Hoodie Allen tracks. After my first couple radio shows, I decided to put together a little website, and then the rest they say, is history. So thank you Hoodie Allen. Enjoy.

Download the track from iTunes, and support a great artist, or grab it below.

Moment Over Nothing - Rob Resnick

So good. Rob Resnick (of Timeflies) said that when Rebecca Black's new track came out, he "couldn't help but flip it" with some Drizzy. I feel like everything that Rob touches turns to gold. His tracks are always so well put together, and this little mix is no exception. Enjoy it, then DL the track below.

Mind Of Logic - Logic ft. Camille Michelle Gray

This track/video got sent my way a few days ago, and I just got around to listening to it last night. Logic is a 21 year old artist out of the DMV area, signed to the same label as Tayyib Ali, and planning on releasing his mixtape, Young Sinatra near the end of August. He has some serious lyrical skill, and it's great to see another emerging artist who isn't just spitting about weed, drinking, partying and how awesome he is, so that's refreshing. Enjoy the great visuals, then cop the track below.

Our Heaven - Sonny Shotz ft. John Gannon

God dam. Sonny Shotz just keeps pumping out amazing tracks. It seems like he can do no wrong. This time, he jumps on a beat put together by the always dope Teddy Roxpin. Sonny also grabs a feature from a fresh face to the game, John Gannon, who actually hold his own on the track. Enjoy it.

Setting Sun - Outasight

I've said it more than once on this site, that I love when this happens. I come across an artist who has gained substantial (as in a fair amount of fans on facebook) fanbase, but yet I have never heard anything from them. I had seen Outasight's name tossed around here and there, but never ended up checking out any of his tracks for some reason. After hearing this joint, I'm kind of upset I slept on him. Outasight has some serious skill, his flow is smooth, his cadence is great, and his rhymes are tight. Overall, a great artist. Plus it helps that this track is catchy as hell. Anyway, enjoy it.

RewindRhyme - Gorilla Warfare Tactics

It's been a while since I have posted any new joints from Gorilla Warfare Tactics, so it's great to hear a new track. In case you missed out on GWT, don't be off put by their name like I was. When I first heard of them, first thing that came to my mind was some crazy hardcore underground rap stuff. I am so glad I was horribly wrong. Just some great, smooth hip hop.Anyway, enjoy the new track from Gorilla Warfare Tactics.

Hope Solo - Huey Mack

Now this is funny stuff. After the US loss in the finals, Huey dropped this gem. He put it together when he was still drunk, so it's pretty funny. It's a surprisingly good track, even though it's ridiculous theme, so check it out. Enjoy.

PLUS, on a more serious note, Huey dropped some visuals for his track Orientation of his latest mixtape, Freshman 15. Once again, a Jon Kilmer production on the video. Check it out.

Mind Your Manners (Lyrics Video) - Chiddy Bang

I love this. Some people hate these videos, but I think they are sick. Even though it was just words splashing onto the screen, I was entranced the whole time. Mind Your Manners, in case you didn't know, is Chiddy Bang's new big single. I can really see this one getting some radio play, so jump on it before it gets huge. DL from iTunes to support the guys and get a high quality version, or DL the low quality version below.

I Saw The Sign (Video + MP3) - Kinetics & One Love ft. Hendersin, Mike Stud & Missy Modell

So sick. When I heard that this song was in the works, I really didn't know what to think. I'm a huge fan of everyone on the track, but I was just curious to see how everything flowed together. I think the track came out perfect. I just got to read the email with this joint an hour or so ago, and I have already watched the video 5 times. When all you want to do is pop a joint on repeat, you know it's good. Hendersin is sick, Kinetics flow is unreal as always, Mike Stud's verse is dope, Missy's hook is catchy as hell, and the beat put together by One Love is unreal. Plus, Jon Kilmer put together another great video. Word is that if this video gets 10,000 views, they are dropping a DL link, so watch it, tell your friends, and then watch it again. Enjoy. **UPDATE** Finally got my hands on a DL link, so you can finally bump this on your ipod. Enjoy. **UPDATE**

Just A Kid - Mac Miller

Hate him, or love him, he's here to stay, and he's making a big name for himself. Once again, Mac Miller his another 100k milestone on his #Road2AMillionFans, 600,000. Unreal. This time, he drops another track that's pretty sick. I really don't need to hype this, because you know who Mac Miller is. Enjoy.

Up All Night - G-Riot

It's been a little while since we've seen any new tracks from G-Riot, but he's back with a bang. This time he drops a sick track, with such a dope beat, in celebration of his own birthday on Saturday. I think G-Riot is really underrated around the web. He's got some serious skill, but I think it's because his sound is a little bit different. It's almost on the edge of a frat-rap feel, but also on the edge sounding something like CyHi's style. Not that it's a bad thing, because I think he is dope, it's just different. Anyway, enough of me babbling on, so here's the new track. Enjoy.

Yacht Week In America - 3LAU

Mashup artists of the world, take note. This is how you mash. You have to blend the songs, so that when you hear the final product, it feels organic. Sorry, that may have been a mini rant, but I hear so many crappy mashups, that sound so rough, so it's fantastic to hear one that's done so well. 3LAU is new to HotLeaks, but after this track, he definitely wont be a stranger. Enjoy.

Dream On (Video) - OCD: Moosh & Twist

This is so sick. It may be a bit too soon to say, but I'm pretty sure this is Moosh & Twist's hardest song to date. With such a heavy beat, wicked piano to back it up, and of course sick flow from the boys, your bound to have a dope track on your hands. Plus, a shout out to Rex Arrow Films for putting together another great video. Enjoy it.

Dark Angel - Lauren Vogul ft. Quincy Kwalae

\
Awesome song. Lauren sent this my way over the weekend, and I am just getting around to listening to it now, and I love it. So catchy, so smooth, and it may or may not be baby making music. I'm pretty sure Lauren Vogel (from Kresado, last track: "Take Me Over") has officially taken the crown for my favorite female vocalist out there right now. Plus, it's been a while since I have seen anything from Quincy Kwalae, so to hear him again is great. On kind of a side note, is it just me or does Quincy sound a little bit like Weezy in his verse? Anyway, great track, so enjoy it.

Bad News - E-Stilez ft. Tino Baby

Dope new E-Stilez. It's been a while since I have heard from him ( Love x Hate ), but when he sent this joint my way, I was all over it. I love the lyrics in this track, because E-Stilez spits everything that I have ever thought, about the news. Plus, Bad News has such a haunting beat and a catchy hook, that it's already stuck in my head. All around great track, so watch out for more from E-Stilez.

Thank You - Jeff Blair

I'll admit, I'm a little late posting this joint. I got word of it a while ago, and I am just now getting around to listening to it. Jeff Blair, whos name you might recognize from a feature on the track Dreamin from GCS, dropped this joint off his upcoming mixtape, Words. This track is really well put together, his flow is sick, and the message is extremely personal. That right there is a winning combo in my book. Awesome track, so I'm excited to hear "Words", coming soon. Enjoy.

Follow Your Heart (Video) - Split Second

Some dope visuals for the track that actually first turned me onto Split Second, Follow Your Heart. The video is a bunch of clips from the animal house tour, put together really well. Since it's a bunch of shots from the tour (which I would have killed to gone to), you will see a some cameos from MGK, The Dean's List, XV and Brenton Duvall. Anyway, the video suits the song perfectly, so you can't ask for much more than that. Watch out for more from Split Second, and if you haven't already, go cop their latest album, Barely Legal.

Stewed In Sicily (Bonobo Remix) - Sonny Shotz

Sonny Shotz has such great flow. This one is a bit different for him. He jumps on a really laid back beat, and then kills it. A new, refreshing sound from Sonny Shotz, but still sick as always. Enjoy.

All I Wanna Do (Video) - Grynch ft. Sol

If you have already heard the track, then I can tell you that the video suits it perfectly. If not, you will notice that the video and the track go quite well together. Great visuals for a great track. Enjoy it, and if you haven't already, go download Timeless, Gynch's EP.

Take Em Down - Cato

Cato is definitely making a name for himself. Here he is with another great track. Once again, Cato's flow is sick, and the production on the track is mint. It's great to hear him on an original track again after hearing so many remixes from him. Not that remixes are a bad thing, it's just refreshing to hear an original. This one is another leak off his upcoming mixtape, The Nite Owl, which from the sound of these tracks, is going to be dope, so i'm excited. Enjoy the new track, and watch out for more from Cato.

Sorry 4 The Wait (Mixtape) - Lil Wayne

Sorry 4 The Wait. Weezy's comeback mixtape. Since he pushed back the release of The Carter IV, he released this tape for the fans. I said it once, and I will continue to say it, I am SO glad that Wayne is back to his old ways. He's left that shitty "rock" stuff behind him and is back to what he's good at. Not the best tape in the world, but whatever. Enjoy.

Hands Up - Lil Wayne

Sure Thing - Lil Wayne

What A Day (Video) - Kam Royal

Kam Royal has some serious skill. I personally think that he has amazing flow and wicked cadence. He's really one of the best around right now. Anyway, this is a joint produced by Smoke Trixx, and is off his latest mixtape, Vindicated, so If you haven't already, go grab the tape. But ,other than that, enjoy the great visuals for the great track.

Just the track:

Long Hair Don't Care - Radical Something

I have loved all the tracks from Radical Something so far. Their two previous releases (Escape and Be Easy) have been unreal. Amazing tracks that I have put on repeat countless times. That being said, this track falls a bit short in my books. Not that it's a bad track, because it's actually really good, it's just that it's not at the same caliber as the previous tracks. I still love Radical Something's sound, so I will still be all over their tracks, but I was just slightly disappointed with this one. PLUS, the beat reminds me a lot of Walkin Around from Dean & Ravo. Anyway, check it out, and enjoy it.

Pop Rocks (Album) - Audiodax

I love these guys. So original. Audiodax has their own sound, which I love, but they always keep it so fresh. All the tracks on this joint are originals, except for the Cheated On You Remix, which is a Posner track, but whatever. Anyway, amazing album that I once again, had no idea was even in the works. I knew Audiodax were working on something, but I thought they just had plans to release tracks all summer. To get a whole album of gold is a dream come true. Plus, all the tracks are done solo, so Pop Rocks isn't dragged down by a ton of features (except for the one amazing feature from OnCue, which is sick). All around great album, so check it out, and enjoy it.

Just Can't Get Enough (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

The boys in Timeflies are going to blow up. Their last few Timeflies Tuesdays have been insane, and this one is no different. Cal's skill is really unmatched, and Rob's production is always so mint. I can really see these guys going big soon, because they have some serious skill. Anyway, great new track/video, even if i'm a bit late posting it. Enjoy.

Slow Down - Aer ft. June

I'll be honest, I've kind of been skipping over any Aer tracks/mixtapes that I have seen. Not to be rude to Aer or anything, but I heard a couple of their songs, and they really just didnt do anything for me. It wasn't bad music, just not my thing at the time, so I haven't given them a second thought. I apologize for that. Now, onto the new track. I got sent this joint earlier today, and I'm hooked already. The beat is crazy haunting, and the flow is on point the whole track. Check out track below and enjoy it. On a side note, June's mixtape should be dropping sometime later this month, so get excited.

B.O.M.B. (Breaking Our Mind Barriers) (Mixtape) - I.O.U

A nice little welcome back present. It's been a couple days since I have posted anything. Been working a full time job, having some sort of summer social life, and since I am the only one running HotLeaks, the posts have been lacking a bit. I'm sorry. But I'm back with a B.O.M.B. (ha! see what I did there?) little treat for you. I posted one of I.O.U's tracks a few days ago, and it got pretty good reviews, so I figured I would bless you with their debut mixtape. Overall, a pretty sick tape. Their flow is great all through the tape, and the beats are tight. Check out a couple of my favs below, then grab the whole tape. Enjoy.

Trouble On My Mind - Pusha T ft. Tyler, The Creator

I'm going to say right up front, I hate the hook on this. It's awful. But other than that, the track is sick. Pusha does his thing, and Tyler is rough as always. A dark track, but great. Enjoy it.

Drinking & Driving - Pries

I do no condone or endorse the title or message of this song, but it's sick regardless. Now that that's out of the way, a sick new track from Pries. He slows it down on this one, and gives his shot at singing, and it's honestly not bad at all. It's actually really enjoyable. Check this one out, and Enjoy.

Take Me Over - Kresado

I have no idea when this came from, but I love it. I got an email, which pretty much just said, "you should check this song out". It came from Lauren Vogel, the female singer in Kresado. It may not seem that odd to you, but most times when I get an email for a submission, it's usually a paragraph or two with an artist's bio and reasons why I should post it. The fact that it was a 2 line email made me curious, so I had to check it out. I loved the track when I heard it. A real house feel to it, so its perfect for a monday night rager. I look forward to hearing more from Kresado. Enjoy.

The Mack Verse - J. Lee

Short but sweet. J. Lee sent this my way a couple days ago, and I love it. The beat is catchy as hell, his flow is smooth, and his rhymes are sick. My only complaint is that it's too short. I wish it had a quick hook, and then another verse, but that's just me. Anyway, I like the track, and the video is really well put together. I hope J. Lee continues to put out tracks like this, because I like this kind of sound. Enjoy.

Just the track (click the little down arrow to download) :

Colours (Stars) - Skizzy Mars

Some brand new Skizzy Mars. After his last couple tracks (Douchebag and Profound) blew up around the web, he drops this new joint. Skizzy jumps on a Xaphoon Jones produced beat, and absolutely kills it. I can see big things coming from Skizzy Mars, so watch out this year. Enjoy.

American Spirit Freestyle - Kinetics & Accent

I love artists on their grind. Kinetics is one of those guys. He's got real skill, and is really doing his thing well. Anyway, you definitely know his name from the NY duo, Kinetics & One Love, and he's now working on an EP with another NYC rapper, Accent. I had never heard of Accent before I got this email, but honestly, if you have Kinetics backing you, you must have some skill. This little gem is an ACTUAL (not a fake) freestyle. Really off the top of their head, with a freestyled hook that was looped in later by One Love. Amazing skill showcase on this track. Enjoy it, get excited for the upcoming Kinetics & Accent colabo EP and check out Kinetics on Facebook.

PLUS, a small treat for you. Kinetics & Accent actually worked together back in '08, before Kinetics even hooked up with One Love. Here are a couple tossback tracks to give you another taste of what's to come.
