Hey Now - Hoodie Allen

It's been a few months since the release of his amazing All American EP, but Hoodie Allen is back, and he's brought some great new free music with him. This is actually a track that was going to be on his All American EP, but Hoodie decided to keep a hold on it and release it later on. It's got a great sound that clearly has some influences from the EDM scene, which isn't a bad thing at all. I have said it before, but I'll say it again, Hoodie Allen has to be one of my favorite artists in the game right now. He deserves every little shred of recognition that he gets for the simple fact that he works hard, and he truly appriciates every single one of his fans. Plus it also kind of helps that he's got a great sound as well. Anyway, enjoy the new track.

Step Right Up - Radical Something

Here's the latest joint in the #SUMMERofRAD from Radical Something. For week 8, the guys decided to turn up the heat a bit and give us this fantastic new high energy track. Every single one of these summer drops have been unreal, and I can guarantee that they will continue to be, so definitely be on the look out. No DL yet, but it should be dropping later this week. Enjoy.

**UPDATE**
Download now available, so check it out below

Wallphones - The White Panda

They're back! The White Panda have put together a brand new mash, and it's absolutely spectacular. The guys blend together Maroon 5 with some Sultan & Ned Shepard and it comes out perfectly. If this is a sign of more drops to come, then I am extremely pumped. Enjoy this one.

School (Video) - Mike Stud x Huey Mack

Here's the first and ONLY leak off Huey Mack and Mike Stud's upcoming colab project, Click, which is dropping August 1st. Now, I knew that this project was in the works, but after hearing this track, I'm really pumped for it's release. There's just something about their flows playing off one another that just sounds dope. Anyway, enjoy the track/video, and be on the watch for Click, coming soon.

Everybody Chillin - D. Worthy

I'm realizing as I post this that it's been a minute since we've heard from D.Worthy. A couple months ago he dropped his mixtape, Anticipation, and I could have sworn that I posted it, but now that I'm looking back I realize that I missed out on it, so for that I apologize. Anyway, this new joint from D.Worthy is a great chilled out summer track with fantastic lyricism. Enjoy it.

Life - CJ Trillo

Here's a treat for your Monday night. Some brand new CJ Trillo for your listening pleasure. Were still waiting on CJ's upcoming mixtape, but he decided to drop this gem to hold us over until that happens. Its a great track filled with CJ's fantastic flow and lyricism. Don't miss out. Enjoy.

Saturday, July 28, 2012

Bath Salt - A$AP Mob ft. Flatbush ZOMBiES

I don't know what it is about this track, but I'm hooked. A$AP Mob, in case you couldn't guess, is A$AP Rocky's crew, and this is a joint off their work-in-process album. They actually remind me a little of OFWGKTA, but only in the sense that they just don't give a fuck about what people think. Anyway, sick new track, so enjoy it.

Friday, July 27, 2012

The Cure - J. Cole

Yeah that's right. Brand new J. Cole for your listening pleasure. It's a dope track where J. Cole decided to spit a sick freestyle over the beat from Lift Off (a joint off of Watch The Throne, in case you don't remember). Don't miss out on this one.

THere He Go (Video) - ScHoolboy Q

Probably my favorite track off ScHoolboy Q's latest album, Habits & Contradictions, gets a sick set of visuals to accompany it. Not much more I can really say. It's ScHoolboy Q, so you know it's gonna be dope. Enjoy it.

City Lights - Trey Palms

After a slight unforeseen hiatus from the game, Trey Palms is back with yet another great new track. This time he jumps in on an Aeroplane sample and gives us a little bit more of a pop-y, upbeat sort of flow. I have been a fan of Trey for a long while now, and it's because he's one of those guys who is consistently good. Anyway, this track is just plain perfect for those long summer nights, so enjoy it.

Fire Fly (Video) - Childish Gambino

Figured I would share this one with you. Gambino does a quick throwback to Camp, and gives us a set of visuals for his joint Fire Fly. Enjoy.

Plastic Dreams - G-Eazy ft. Johanna Fay

G-Eazy has officially dropped the first single off his upcoming album "Must Be Nice", which is dropping September 26th, and it's every bit as fantastic as one would expect. G-Eazy's flow is absolutely on point as always, the beat is simple but extremely addicting, and the vocals from Johanna Fay are just plain gorgeous. Not a track to miss out on. Enjoy it.

Download from iTunes

Sleep Forever (Video) - Timeflies

For this "Timeflies Tuesday", the boys are still riding the high of their amazing mixtape, Under The Influence, so they decided to drop some fresh visuals for the track Sleep Forever. A great video for a great track. Enjoy.

Time Bomb - Eddy B & Tim Gunter

This is honestly probably my favorite track that Eddy B and Tim Gunter have put together in the last little while. Not that their previous tracks were crappy, because they were actually all pretty great, it's just that this one seems to stand out above the others for me. Some sick flow from Eddy B, and an absolutely addicting beat from Tim G. Though there is one thing that bugs me about this track. I can't put my finger on it, but I KNOW that I know the background techno/electro melody from somewhere. Anyway, a fantastic new track that you should not miss out on. Enjoy.

Wide Awake For The Finale - TeeTs

It's been a minute since we've heard from TeeTs, but he's back with a sick new mash of Katy Perry and Madeon. I am honestly addicted to this one already. Shouts to my man Ethan once again for turning me onto this dope producer/DJ. Enjoy.

Download

The Usual - Ground Up ft. Chill Moody

Ground Up dropped another new track off of their #SuperNaturalSeries on Satuday, and it's every bit as dope as the previous. The beat is simple, so it really manages to show off their sick flow from start to finish. Enjoy this one.

Monday, July 23, 2012

Both Of Us Feel Good - The Two Friends

Right now, The Two Friends are actually away in Israel, but being the fantastic artists that they are, they don't let that stop them from creating great new music. This is their latest mash that has pieces pulled from B.o.B's Both Of Us,  BEP's I Got A Feeling, Calvin Harris' Feel So Close, as well as Five For Fighting's classic hit, 100 Years. The guys manage to blend all of these tracks perfectly into a single extremely enjoyable one. Definitely check this one out.

Spread Your Wings - Radical Something

Week 7 of the #SUMMERofRAD, and as expected, the boys of Radical Something put together another fantastic track. A little bit of a more chilled out track, but dope none the less. Enjoy.

Glad You Came (Mike Stud Remix) - The Wanted

This is just too good. This #SundayStudDay, Mike Stud decided to jump in and put his own rapping-spin on The Wanted's Glad You Came, and he absolutely killed it. When I first heard the simple guitar and piano melodies, followed by Stud singing the opening hook, I thought that this was going to be an emotional track, a lot like Happy Ending, but the second he started rhyming, I was amazed. It is definitely not emotional. A sick track that you will not want to miss. Enjoy it.

Written Songs (Feeling Good) - The Original Rudeboys

The Original Rudeboys are just plain fantastic. There's just something about the combination of gorgeous vocals, Irish accented rapping and perfect ukulele melodies that always manages to put a smile on my face. You honestly can't NOT enjoy their tracks. This is a joint off their brand new EP of the same name, so definitely check that out (Click Here). Anyway, enjoy the amazing new track.

My Songs (Remix) - Cam Meekins

With the first track since his :) :/ :( mixtape, Cam Meekins decided to put his own spin on Atmosphere's track of the same name, and he actually manages to do a great job. I know I say this every time he drops a new track, but Cam is really maturing as an artist, and his flow has really grown into something great. Definitely a sick new track that you won't want to miss. Enjoy.

Charlie Brown (Video) - Jared Evan

Wow, just simply, wow. Huge shout out to my girl Missy Modell for posting this joint, but what I want to know is how have I not heard of this guy before. Jared Evan is a fantastic artist based out of NY, NY and he's been in the music game for a minute now (he actually opened for Lupe Fiasco in 2008). He has clearly made quite a name for himself over the last few years, and it sucks that I've been sleeping on him for so long. Jared Evan is now definitely one I will be on the watch for. Enjoy this one.

3 Kings - Rick Ross ft. Dr. Dre & Jay-Z

I couldn't NOT post this one. Rozay grabs Hova and Dre for a brand new drop off his upcoming project God Forgives I Don't. I'll let you give it a listen, and then give it your own verdict. Enjoy.

Uncharted - Hendersin

Here's another track that didn't quite make the cut for Hendersin's upcoming tape, Henny In Ya System. He calls this one somewhat of a sequel to Keep Ya Head Up, back off his I F.L.Y. mixtape, because he's once again spitting about his life in the industry. This is definitely a hot track that you will not want to miss. I popped it on my ipod before heading to soccer tonight, and for my entire 15 minute drive to the field, I listened to it on repeat. You can't not enjoy this. Henny In Ya System coming soon.

Under The Influence (Mixtape) - Timeflies

Here's a hot new tape for your listening pleasure. Timeflies have finally dropped their mixtape, Under The Influence, that we first heard about last week when they dropped their track We Found Love, and it is unreal, but honestly, it's a little bit different than what I expected. Not that that's a bad thing, because all of these tracks actually have the same sort of sampling-sound that got me hooked on Timeflies in the first place, which is pretty dope if you ask me. Even though it's only 6 tracks, this is a mixtape that you will not want to miss out on. Enjoy it.

Glad You Came - Timeflies

Stand By Me - Timeflies

Someone Like You - Timeflies

Letter To Our Friends - Radical Something

They have finally done it. Radical Something has finally hit 25,000 fans on facebook, and in celebration, they have put out a previously unreleased track for their fans. I love what these guys are doing with their music, so definitely be on the watch for their name in lights soon. Enjoy.

Beautiful Life (Video) - Ryan Notes

I introduced you guys to Ryan Notes back in December, but now he has just finally put together his first video ever, for the original track I posted back then, Beautiful Life. A great video for a great track. Enjoy.

Dance Floor Filth 2 (Album) - 3LAU

I feel like I don't even need to explain this one. 3LAU has finally dropped his latest project and it's every bit as rageworthy as you would have predicted. Every single track on this album is just dripping with amazing-ness, so it is a must download, and perfect addition to any party playlist. Not one to miss. I'm only going to post a couple of the tracks because I know you're going to end up downloading the whole thing anyway. Enjoy.

Guilty Pleasure (3LAU Bootleg) - Paris & Simo x Archie (Ft. Anna Yvette, Krewella, Pendulum, Dada Life)

These Are The Days (3LAU Bootleg) - Audien (Feat. Ruby Prophet & Nicki Minaj)

You A Lie (Remix) - Rockie Fresh ft. Rick Ross

The dope track from Rockie Fresh's latest project, Driving 88, gets a fresh remix with a feature from the king of MMG, Ricky Rozay himself. To be honest, it's the same track, just with a new verse. Not that there's anything wrong with that, just figured I would be straight up with you. Enjoy.

Toyota Summer Mixtape

Alright guys, I don't normally post other website's mixtapes, but when I found out how many unreal exclusives were on this one, I just couldn't help but pass it along to you guys. It's filled with exclusive tracks from people like Dunson, The Deans List, Radical SomethingGround Up, Beau Young Prince, Jitta On The Track, Zak Downtown, as well as many, many more from artists that I honestly haven't been following, but will now be on the watch for. I figured it would be easier to post my favorites all in one spot rather than doing an individual post for each new track, so enjoy this one. Huge shouts to GMAD, VIBE and Toyota for this one.

Weapon - Dunson

Shalom - The Dean's List

Hold Me Down - Ground Up ft. Action Bronson

Going Hard (Freestyle) - Chiddy Bang

Charlie Brown - Jitta On The Track

Catch Me - Zak Downtown

Santa Barbara - Radical Something

Every single track that Radical Something releases is just plain magical, and Santa Barbara is no different. The latest from the #SUMMERofRAD is a perfect summer track, and I know I say that about every track from these guys, but it really is true. Now, this actually isn't 'officially' released as a DL until later on this week, so be on the watch. Enjoy

Used To Know (Video) - Dunson ft. Lazee

Dunson's latest single now has some great visuals to go with it, with a little help from Jon Kilmer Studios. I really don't have that much to say about this one, other than it's a great video for an amazing track. I've already said it before, but Dunson is seriously one to watch out for. Enjoy this one.

Whenever - Ground Up

So sick. I'm seriously digging all these artists starting weekly series. Ground Up have officially started their own series, known simply as the #SupernaturalSeries, where every Saturday they're going to be dropping a brand new track. This will continue every week untill August 18th, which is when they are actually dropping their brand new mixtape, Supernatural. A dope new track that is just dripping in that smooth flow that Ground Up has perfected. Enjoy this one.

The Transition (Video) - YONAS

The title track off YONAS' latest project gets some sick new visuals to accompany it. The track itself, in case you missed it, is one of the toughest on the tape, and the video manages to match up just perfectly with it. Pardon the pun, but the transitions in this video are just unreal. It's one of those videos where you are just hooked from start to finish. Not one to miss, and if you haven't yet, you need to cop The Transition.

Still Fly - Mike Stud

This week for Mike Stud's #SundayStudDay, he decided to spit over the classic Still Fly beat, and if you ask me, he absolutely kills it. I think that these weekly drops from Stud are doing a couple things really well. First thing they're doing is giving him the exposure that he really deserves. The second thing is that it's really forcing Stud to be consistently creative, and it's turning out dope. I am definitely digging #SundayStudDays. Enjoy.

Swimming Pools (Drank) - Kendrick Lamar

New drop from the always dope, Kendrick Lamar. This one is off his upcoming poject ”Good kid m.A.A.d city”, which is dropping the day before my birthday, October 2nd. Enjoy.

100 Bottles - CyHi The Prynce ft. Chris Brown & Big Sean

This sounds EXACTLY how you would imagine it would. Classic CyHi, with Breezy sounding like he's on Boy In Detention and Big Sean spittin like he always does. This is a perfect one to blast in the whip as you roll down the street. Enjoy.

Who Makes The Music? - Manic Focus ft. Atmosphere

Here's a dope new joint from a fresh face to HotLeaks, Manic Focus, an up and coming DJ/Producer/Artist based out of Chicago, IL. This joint is a gorgeous blend of EDM with some tight hip-hop beats and flow, sprinkled with some classic, almost funky, melodies. This is definitely a hot track that you won't want to miss out on. I will definitely be on the watch for more from Manic Focus. Shouts to TSIS. Enjoy this one.

Hanging On - Ellie Goulding ft. Tinie Tempah

How the hell did I miss this one? My girl Ellie Goulding released a brand new track yesterday with a little help from Tinie Tempah, and it is just plain gorgeous. There is just something about her sound that is absolutely haunting. You just cant help but be enthralled. Plus, the always dope Tinie jumps in for a quick verse, which is never a bad thing. Anyway, enjoy this one.

We Found Love - Timeflies

Instead of their normal Timeflies Tuesday, Cal and Rob have released the first of 6 brand new tracks off their upcoming project, Under The Influence, which is dropping next Tuesday. All I can say is wow, just wow. This project is going to be unreal. Be on the watch.

Download

Kids - Hendersin

Here's a fantastic new single from the always dope Hendersin that just didn't quite make the cut for his upcoming tape, Henny In Ya System. As always, it has great production and flawlessly smooth flow. If this is the kind of track that didn't make the cut, I can't wait to hear the gold that will be on HIYS. Anyway, enjoy this one, and be on the watch for more from Hendersin.

Shoot The Stars - The Two Friends ft. Katie Pearlman

Once again, The Two Friends have put together an unreal track. This is their second original mix and it's every bit as amazing as their first, Solitaire. They grab some vocals from Katie Pearlman, and once again, she's fantastic. There is just something absolutely magical about these guys' production, and you just can't help but enjoy it, so definitely don't sleep on this on. Enjoy.

Cosmic Consciousness (Video) - Kinetics ft. Kam Royal, Money Mars & KTSB

Still hot off the release of With A Little Help From My Friends, Kinetics has dropped some slick new visuals for his track Cosmic Consciousness. With a little help from Kam Royal, Money Mars and KTSB, this video came out fantastic. Simple, but elegant. Enjoy this one.

Light Me Up (Volume One) - Basic Physics

So I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I'm not a guy who usually posts any sort of mega mixes. I'll download a few here and there, but most of the time there's always a few tracks in the mix that I just plain don't enjoy, so they end up leaving a sour taste for me. This one is different. I missed my bus on my way home from work today, but it was nice out so I figured that I would walk. I just put this new mix from Basic Physics on my iPod, so I figured I would give it a go because I really had nothing but time. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every second of my walk thanks to this mix. A must download for any rager playlist, so definitely check this one out.

With A Little Help From My Friends (Mixtape) - Kinetics

So good. I have said it before, but in case you've been sleeping, Kinetics in my opinion is probably one of, if not the, best artists in the game right now. His lyrics are always absolutely impeccable, and his ability to string them together is just unreal. With A Little Help From My Friends is exactly what it sounds like, a mixtape filled to the brim with amazing colabs. If you've been paying attention, then you have probably heard a good portion of this tape already, because over the last few months Kinetics has been dropping tracks consistently. But regardless of that, With A Little Help From My Friends is a great mixtape that you will not want to miss out on, so enjoy it.

Make It Work - Kinetics ft. Accent & Missy Modell

Rain Outside - Kinetics ft. R.A. The Rugged Man & Remedy

Million Miles Of War - Kinetics fr. Man-u-iLL

Tomorrow - Radical Something

As I sit here on the patio, beer in hand and burgers on the BBQ, on my first day off after working for the last 8 days straight, I have a brand new joint from Radical Something to blast, and it manages to just top off this perfect summer day. With the fifth installment of their #SUMMERofRAD series, the guys once again have created a gorgeous track. This one is a bit more chilled out than their previous, but it's every bit as dope. Enjoy.

We Were Kings (Video) - Uno Hype ft. Hassani Kwess

\
One of my favorite tracks off of Uno Hype's latest project, Fxck The Hype, finally gets some visuals to accompany it. And in case you were wondering, I still stand by my statement that Uno Hype is one of the most talented, but under appreciated, artist in the game right now. If you weren't before, let this one get you familiar with this kid. Enjoy.

Exhale - Olu ft. Sia

I'm pretty sure that Olu can do no wrong, because once again, he manages to create an amazing track that will have you hooked right away. With a little help from Ryan Macgowan for the beat, Olu lays down line after line of gorgeous rhymes. This is, from what I gather, just a single that Olu put together and it wont actually be on his upcoming project, Cover Letters. Anyway, enjoy this one.

You Don't Know Me - Tarik & Mike Stud

Now this is the kind of stuff that I love. For this week's #SundayStudDay, Mike Stud teamed up with the lyrical mastermind Tarik for a gorgeous track straight from the heart. Tracks like this are probably my favorite Stud, mainly because you can tell that a lot of emotion was put into them. Even though it still has those classic Stud one liners, a lot of careful thought was put into each one. Plus, Tarik manages to compliment Mike on this one absolutely perfectly. His flow is absolutely on point, proving again why he's one to watch. Anyway, enjoy this one.

All You (Clinton Sparks Remix) - Cataracs ft. Waka Flocka & Kaskade

A fresh remix from the always talented Mr. Clinton Sparks that I missed out on a couple days ago. This joint was originally planned to be on My Awesome Mixtape 3, which is dropping on the 10th, but it just didn't manage to make the final cut. If this is the type of track cut, I can't wait to hear the ones that made it.

TMRW, TMRW (Mixtape) - Luke Christopher

This is just plain amazing. Luke Christopher's highly anticipated mixtape has finally dropped, and it's every bit as fantastic as was expected. In case you've been sleeping on him, Luke is an unreal artist based out of LA who is wise well beyond his years, and has flow and lyrical ability that truly rivals some of the best in the game right now. Not only that, but he also has some serious skill behind on the boards, as he actually produces almost all of his own tracks. TMRW, TMRW is a true showcase of his abilities as an artist. It has tracks that feel both fresh an old school at the same time, some that are more upbeat, and even some that remind me a bit of Frank Ocean. Overall, this mixtape is 16 tracks of pure gold that all music fans should check out. I can honestly see Luke taking off, so definitely be on the look out for his name up in lights soon. Enjoy.

Sex With You - Luke Christopher ft. Common

Never Been - Luke Christopher

Best Day Ever - Luke Christopher

100 Fans - Luke Christopher

Don't Lie (Freestyle) - Wiz Khalifa

At only around a minute of rhyming, this is actually probably the best that I have heard from Wiz in the last little while. Enjoy this one.

King Slayer - Kam Royal

Here's another track from an artist who I have been sleeping on lately, Kam Royal. After pressing play on this joint, I was hooked instantly. There's just something about Kam's perfectly fluid flow over a sick beat from Kid Vision that just gets me. This is actually a drop off his upcoming mixtape, Still Waters, which is dropping the 19th, so be on the look out. Enjoy this one.

Young Amsterdam - The Foodchain

It's been a minute since we've heard from The foodchain, but they're back with a fantastic new track. This is really chilled out track, with a subtle but gorgeous beat from Mass Prod and some smooth flow the Denver boys. From what I'm told, this is actually the second off of their "Foodchain Summer Series", and if it's any indication of what's to come this summer, I'm excited. Be on the watch and enjoy.

Royalty (Mixtape) - Childish Gambino

It's finally here. After months of waiting, Childish Gambino has finally dropped his highly anticipated mixtape, Royalty, and it's every bit as dope as was expected. I really think Gambino has grown his sound into something great with this one. It's got some of those classic lines that we fell in love with (ie Freaks & Geeks sort of thing), mixed with some of the more serious flow from tracks off of Camp, and then finally spiced with his new, more "gangster" flow (as my buddy describes it). Overall, it comes out fantastic, and I am really excited to see where Gambino goes from here. Enjoy this one.

Whistle (Remix) - Jake Miller

It's been only a couple weeks since we've heard from Jake Miller, but he's back again, and this time he gives us his own take on Flo Rida's hit Whistle. Once again, it manages to be as catchy as a song could ever be. There is just something about his flow that gets you in a good mood. Enjoy this one.

New God Flow - Pusha T & Kanye West

I couldn't deprive you all of G.O.O.D. music's  brand new drop off their upcoming Cruel Summer mixtape, so here it is. Kanye and Pusha T are so dope on this one. Enjoy.

L.iving I.n A.merica - Trey Palms

My man Trey Palms has just released a brand new track for your 4th of July (almost) listening pleasure, and just as expected, it's fantastic. This is one of Trey's more upbeat tracks, but don't let the catchy hook fool you, because he still manages to spit with the best of them. It may be a release for Independence day, but this new drop off Trey's upcoming Remixes EP is sure to be on your playlist for a while. Enjoy.

Start Livin' - Radical Something

It's just hit after hit from Radical Something this #SUMMERofRAD. I don't know how they do it, but every single track they put together is just plain fantastic. The amazingly catchy beats from Big Red, the sultry vocals from Josh Cocktail, and the smooth flow from Loggy all manage to combine perfectly every single time. Start Livin' is the latest in their #SUMMERofRad series (which has been non stop greatness so far), but it's definitely not the last, so be on the watch for more next week. Enjoy.

Youth (Prod. by One Love) - Mike Stud

Mike Stud is back with a brand new track, and it's a sick one. With some help from the homie One Love on the boards, Stud absolutely wrecks this track. Each new track that he drops, his flow manages to impress me even more. Not one to sleep on, so definitely cop this.

One Blind Whistle Blower - The Two Friends

I'm pretty sure that every single track that The Two Friends put together turns out golden, and this one is no different. They manage to blend Flo Rida, Matisyahu, Akon and Third Eye Blind absolutely flawlessly. This is not one you will want to miss out on, so enjoy it.
