Hey Now - Hoodie Allen

It's been a few months since the release of his amazing All American EP, but Hoodie Allen is back, and he's brought some great new free music with him. This is actually a track that was going to be on his All American EP, but Hoodie decided to keep a hold on it and release it later on. It's got a great sound that clearly has some influences from the EDM scene, which isn't a bad thing at all. I have said it before, but I'll say it again, Hoodie Allen has to be one of my favorite artists in the game right now. He deserves every little shred of recognition that he gets for the simple fact that he works hard, and he truly appriciates every single one of his fans. Plus it also kind of helps that he's got a great sound as well. Anyway, enjoy the new track.

Step Right Up - Radical Something

Here's the latest joint in the #SUMMERofRAD from Radical Something. For week 8, the guys decided to turn up the heat a bit and give us this fantastic new high energy track. Every single one of these summer drops have been unreal, and I can guarantee that they will continue to be, so definitely be on the look out. No DL yet, but it should be dropping later this week. Wallphones - The White Panda

They're back! The White Panda have put together a brand new mash, and it's absolutely spectacular. The guys blend together Maroon 5 with some Sultan & Ned Shepard and it comes out perfectly. If this is a sign of more drops to come, then I am extremely pumped. Enjoy this one.

Here's the first and ONLY leak off Huey Mack and Mike Stud's upcoming colab project, Click, which is dropping August 1st. Now, I knew that this project was in the works, but after hearing this track, I'm really pumped for it's release. I'm realizing as I post this that it's been a minute since we've heard from D.Worthy. A couple months ago he dropped his mixtape, Anticipation, and I could have sworn that I posted it, but now that I'm looking back I realize that I missed out on it, so for that I apologize. Anyway, this new joint from D.Worthy is a great chilled out summer track with fantastic lyricism. Enjoy it.

I don't know what it is about this track, but I'm hooked. A$AP Mob, in case you couldn't guess, is A$AP Rocky's crew, and this is a joint off their work-in-process album. They actually remind me a little of OFWGKTA, but only in the sense that they just don't give a fuck about what people think. Anyway, sick new track, so enjoy it.

Yeah that's right. Brand new J. Cole for your listening pleasure. It's a dope track where J. Cole decided to spit a sick freestyle over the beat from Lift Off (a joint off of Watch The Throne, in case you don't remember). Don't miss out on this one.

This is honestly probably my favorite track that Eddy B and Tim Gunter have put together in the last little while. Not that their previous tracks were crappy, because they were actually all pretty great, it's just that this one seems to stand out above the others for me. Some sick flow from Eddy B, and an absolutely addicting beat from Tim G. Though there is one thing that bugs me about this track. I can't put my finger on it, but I KNOW that I know the background techno/electro melody from somewhere. Anyway, a fantastic new track that you should not miss out on. Enjoy.

Right now, The Two Friends are actually away in Israel, but being the fantastic artists that they are, they don't let that stop them from creating great new music. This is their latest mash that has pieces pulled from B.o.B's Both Of Us,  BEP's I Got A Feeling, Calvin Harris' Feel So Close, as well as Five For Fighting's classic hit, 100 Years. The guys manage to blend all of these tracks perfectly into a single extremely enjoyable one. Definitely check this one out.

Week 7 of the #SUMMERofRAD, and as expected, the boys of Radical Something put together another fantastic track. A little bit of a more chilled out track, but dope none the less. Enjoy.

Glad You Came (Mike Stud Remix) - The Wanted

This is just too good. This #SundayStudDay, Mike Stud decided to jump in and put his own rapping-spin on The Wanted's Glad You Came, and he absolutely killed it. When I first heard the simple guitar and piano melodies, followed by Stud singing the opening hook, I thought that this was going to be an emotional track, a lot like Happy Ending, but the second he started rhyming, I was amazed. It is definitely not emotional. A sick track that you will not want to miss. Enjoy it.

Written Songs (Feeling Good) - The Original Rudeboys

The Original Rudeboys are just plain fantastic. There's just something about the combination of gorgeous vocals, Irish accented rapping and perfect ukulele melodies that always manages to put a smile on my face. My Songs (Remix) - Cam Meekins

With the first track since his :) :/ :( mixtape, Cam Meekins decided to put his own spin on Atmosphere's track of the same name, and he actually manages to do a great job. I know I say this every time he drops a new track, but Cam is really maturing as an artist, and his flow has really grown into something great. Definitely a sick new track that you won't want to miss. Enjoy.

Charlie Brown (Video) - Jared Evan

Wow, just simply, wow. Huge shout out to my girl Missy Modell for posting this joint, but what I want to know is how have I not heard of this guy before. Jared Evan is a fantastic artist based out of NY, NY and he's been in the music game for a minute now (he actually opened for Lupe Fiasco in 2008). He has clearly made quite a name for himself over the last few years, and it sucks that I've been sleeping on him for so long. Jared Evan is now definitely one I will be on the watch for. Uncharted - Hendersin

Here's another track that didn't quite make the cut for Hendersin's upcoming tape, Henny In Ya System. He calls this one somewhat of a sequel to Keep Ya Head Up, back off his I F.L.Y. mixtape, because he's once again spitting about his life in the industry. This is definitely a hot track that you will not want to miss. I popped it on my ipod before heading to soccer tonight, and for my entire 15 minute drive to the field, I listened to it on repeat. Timeflies have finally dropped their mixtape, Under The Influence, that we first heard about last week when they dropped their track We Found Love, and it is unreal, but honestly, it's a little bit different than what I expected. Not that that's a bad thing, because all of these tracks actually have the same sort of sampling-sound that got me hooked on Timeflies in the first place, which is pretty dope if you ask me. The title track off YONAS' latest project gets some sick new visuals to accompany it. The track itself, in case you missed it, is one of the toughest on the tape, and the video manages to match up just perfectly with it. Pardon the pun, but the transitions in this video are just unreal. It's one of those videos where you are just hooked from start to finish. Not one to miss, and if you haven't yet, you need to cop The Transition.

Still Fly - Mike Stud

This week for Mike Stud's #SundayStudDay, he decided to spit over the classic Still Fly beat, and if you ask me, he absolutely kills it. I think that these weekly drops from Stud are doing a couple things really well. First thing they're doing is giving him the exposure that he really deserves. The second thing is that it's really forcing Stud to be consistently creative, and it's turning out dope. I am definitely digging #SundayStudDays. Enjoy.

Who Makes The Music? - Manic Focus ft. Atmosphere

Here's a dope new joint from a fresh face to HotLeaks, Manic Focus, an up and coming DJ/Producer/Artist based out of Chicago, IL. This joint is a gorgeous blend of EDM with some tight hip-hop beats and flow, sprinkled with some classic, almost funky, melodies. This is definitely a hot track that you won't want to miss out on. Hanging On - Ellie Goulding ft. Tinie Tempah

How the hell did I miss this one? My girl Ellie Goulding released a brand new track yesterday with a little help from Tinie Tempah, and it is just plain gorgeous. There is just something about her sound that is absolutely haunting. You just cant help but be enthralled. Plus, the always dope Tinie jumps in for a quick verse, which is never a bad thing. Anyway, enjoy this one.

We Found Love - Timeflies

Instead of their normal Timeflies Tuesday, Cal and Rob have released the first of 6 brand new tracks off their upcoming project, Under The Influence, which is dropping next Tuesday. All I can say is wow, just wow. This project is going to be unreal. Be on the watch.

So I've said it before, but I'll say it again, I'm not a guy who usually posts any sort of mega mixes. I'll download a few here and there, but most of the time there's always a few tracks in the mix that I just plain don't enjoy, so they end up leaving a sour taste for me. This one is different. I missed my bus on my way home from work today, but it was nice out so I figured that I would walk. I just put this new mix from Basic Physics on my iPod, so I figured I would give it a go because I really had nothing but time. I can honestly say that I enjoyed every second of my walk thanks to this mix. A must download for any rager playlist, so definitely check this one out.

So good. I have said it before, but in case you've been sleeping, Kinetics in my opinion is probably one of, if not the, best artists in the game right now. His lyrics are always absolutely impeccable, and his ability to string them together is just unreal. With A Little Help From My Friends is exactly what it sounds like, a mixtape filled to the brim with amazing colabs. If you've been paying attention, then you have probably heard a good portion of this tape already, because over the last few months Kinetics has been dropping tracks consistently. But regardless of that, With A Little Help From My Friends is a great mixtape that you will not want to miss out on, so enjoy it.

You Don't Know Me - Tarik & Mike Stud

Now this is the kind of stuff that I love. For this week's #SundayStudDay, Mike Stud teamed up with the lyrical mastermind Tarik for a gorgeous track straight from the heart. Tracks like this are probably my favorite Stud, mainly because you can tell that a lot of emotion was put into them. Even though it still has those classic Stud one liners, a lot of careful thought was put into each one. Plus, Tarik manages to compliment Mike on this one absolutely perfectly. His flow is absolutely on point, proving again why he's one to watch. Anyway, enjoy this one.

All You (Clinton Sparks Remix) - Cataracs ft. Waka Flocka & Kaskade

A fresh remix from the always talented Mr. Clinton Sparks that I missed out on a couple days ago. This joint was originally planned to be on My Awesome Mixtape 3, which is dropping on the 10th, but it just didn't manage to make the final cut. If this is the type of track cut, I can't wait to hear the ones that made it.

TMRW, TMRW (Mixtape) - Luke Christopher

This is just plain amazing. Luke Christopher's highly anticipated mixtape has finally dropped, and it's every bit as fantastic as was expected. In case you've been sleeping on him, Luke is an unreal artist based out of LA who is wise well beyond his years, and has flow and lyrical ability that truly rivals some of the best in the game right now. Not only that, but he also has some serious skill behind on the boards, as he actually produces almost all of his own tracks. TMRW, TMRW is a true showcase of his abilities as an artist. It has tracks that feel both fresh an old school at the same time, some that are more upbeat, and even some that remind me a bit of Frank Ocean. Overall, this mixtape is 16 tracks of pure gold that all music fans should check out. I can honestly see Luke taking off, so definitely be on the look out for his name up in lights soon. Enjoy.

Young Amsterdam - The Foodchain

It's been a minute since we've heard from The foodchain, but they're back with a fantastic new track. This is really chilled out track, with a subtle but gorgeous beat from Mass Prod and some smooth flow the Denver boys. From what I'm told, this is actually the second off of their "Foodchain Summer Series", and if it's any indication of what's to come this summer, I'm excited. Be on the watch and enjoy.

Royalty (Mixtape) - Childish Gambino

It's finally here. After months of waiting, Childish Gambino has finally dropped his highly anticipated mixtape, Royalty, and it's every bit as dope as was expected. I really think Gambino has grown his sound into something great with this one. It's got some of those classic lines that we fell in love with (ie Freaks & Geeks sort of thing), mixed with some of the more serious flow from tracks off of Camp, and then finally spiced with his new, more "gangster" flow (as my buddy describes it). Overall, it comes out fantastic, and I am really excited to see where Gambino goes from here. Enjoy this one.

The amazingly catchy beats from Big Red, the sultry vocals from Josh Cocktail, and the smooth flow from Loggy all manage to combine perfectly every single time. Start Livin' is the latest in their #SUMMERofRad series (which has been non stop greatness so far), but it's definitely not the last, so be on the watch for more next week. Enjoy.
