Jerry's Record Store - Mac Miller

New track from Mac Miller. He dropped this one yesterday, and I just got a chance to sit down and listen to it now, so I figured I would post it now as well. I will say that Mac is moving back up on my list. He lost some serious ground, with Blue Slide Park and a bunch of weak drops before that, with me. But with his last couple tracks, I have been enjoying him a little bit more. Whether you hate him or love him, here's some new Mac.

Last Night (LVRS ANTHEM) - Theophilus London

I'll be honest, Theophilus London kind of fell off my radar. I'm not sure why, but I think I just got the feeling he was going to go down an odd, inde path that I wouldn't enjoy, so I just kind of stopped paying attention. Well, I was wrong. Theophilus London's still got it, and he's still dope as ever. That just shows you that you should never doubt an artist, so for that I am sorry. Last Night is off his upcoming album, Lovers Holiday II: ROSE ISLAND, which I will be on the watch for now. Definitely check this out because it is not a track to miss out on. Enjoy it.

Last Man Standing (Freestyle Friday #54) - e-dubble

The King is back. My man, e-dubble, is back again with his unreal series of Freestyle Fridays. Why is he back with his #FF? The reason: "there's just not enough good music being given away anymore". I am not going to argue with that if it means a weekly dose of e-dub. He has an amazing flow on this track, but that is no surprise. He is also one of the few artists around nowadays who is real, so there is nothing fake about e-dub. His lyrics are smart and quick, and his tracks are also always enjoyable to listen to, which is a plus. Anyway, you have probably already pressed download, so I'm just pissing in the the wind at this point. Enjoy the track.

Kids, Set Fire To Someone I Used To Know - The Jane Doze

I love these girls. Once again, they bless us with an amazing mash / remix / bootleg. This time The Jane Doze splice together Gotye's Somebody That I Used To Know, Adele's Set Fire To The Rain and Sebastian Ingrosso's Kidsos seamlessly. This entire track is gorgeous, and really is just an enjoyable listen. My only complaint is that it leaves me wanting more, but I guess that's not really a complaint. Anyway, enjoy the great track.

Starry Eye -Terence Ryan

Yes, I know what your thinking, "not another Ellie Goulding remix!" but I promise you won't regret this one. This is another drop from up and comer, Terence Ryan, off his upcoming EP Skeleton, which from the sounds of these last couple tracks, should be fantastic. He splices up the track that we have all heard one too many times, and manages to give it a fresh feel, which is great. Enjoy this one.

Can't Get Enough (Mixtape) - Big Z Remixes

This is fantastic. I have been a huge fan of Big Z for a long while now, so when I saw that he was working on a brand new mixtape, I knew that I needed to get it. Let me tell you, It does not disappoint. I love Big Z's ability to take a track that we all know and love, and make it sound fresh and original. That right there is a skill of a true artist. On Can' Get Enough your going to hear a few party tracks that will get you pumped, but then there are some wicked remixes of some classic hip hop tracks. This tape is one you should not miss out on, because I know you will enjoy it. As always, here are a few of my favorites, but you should definitely cop the whole tape.

Work Out (ft. J. Cole) - Big Z Remixes

Brand New (ft. Rhymefest & Kanye West) - Big Z Remixes

Work Hard, Play Hard (ft. Kay) - Big Z Remixes

I'm Ready for You - Genevieve Teel ft. Daniel Driscoll

This is one of those random email submissions that catches my eye. Simple and quick explanation, with a link to a youtube video. Now, I'll warn you, this is slightly different than what I normally post. This track / video isn't done by full time artists, but instead by a group of friends at the University of Arizona. It's a little bit raw, but there is something about the combination of Genevieve Teel's vocals, Daniel Driscol's rap and Grant Stoltz's (the producer) beat that just makes this track extremely catchy. A real cool joint to check out. Enjoy it.

Without U2 (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

I love Timeflies. This is their latest Timeflies Tuesday, and it is really an amazing cover / remix / freestyle. Yes, it is all 3 of those in one wonderful track. The first part is a cover / remix of Usher's track Without You and then of course Cal has to throw in his freestyle for a verse. Plus, in case you weren't sold with my explanation there, Rob's beat is unreal. He uses a banjo. No more words are needed. Enjoy this one.
