My Way - DJ Drama ft. Common, LLoyd & Kendrick Lamar

A dope new drop off Drama's upcoming project Quality Street Music. This is a perfect track to round off your Thursday night. A chilled out beat, with smooth flow from both Kendrick and Common, and a hook from Lloyd that is just plain addicting. Can't go wrong with this one.

Must Be Nice (Album) - G-Eazy

So sick. G-Eazy has officially found his sound, and he is absolutely killing it. Now I have been a big fan of G for a while now, but I'm going to be honest, he went through a little finding himself phase. Not that it was a bad tape, but The Outsider was not my favorite because he was still working on his sound. The Endless Summer was great, but there were still some tracks that were not the best in my opinion. Now I really don't want you to get the wrong impression as you read this, because I really am a huge G-Eazy fan. It's just with this tape, there is not a single track that you won't enjoy. That being said, definitely don't miss out on Must Be Nice.

Closer Than This (Xaphoon Jones Remix) - St. Lucia

Another dreamy remix of a St. Lucia track from Xaphoon Jones to add to your collection. This is the second  time (that I know of) that Xaph has jumped in an done a remix of St. Lucia, and I hope that it's not the last, because every time he does it turns out fantastic. This is actually a drop off his upcoming tape XJV3, which SHOULD be dropping later today, so be on the look out. Enjoy.

Don't You Worry Child - Huey Mack

This is some deep stuff from Huey Mack. He tells a couple of real heavy stories over a sample of SHM's hit track of the same name, and it comes off absolutely gorgeously. A great story, fluid flow, strong vocals, all over a great beat. Can't ask for more than that. I'm actually blown away by Huey on this track, so I don't think it's one you should miss. Enjoy.

Baby Face Killa (Album) - Freddie Gibbs

BFK, the highly anticipated album from Freddie Gibbs, has finally dropped, and it's every bit as gangsta as was expected. I actually only heard of him just a few weeks ago when he dropped his track Bout It, Bout It and then The Hard,  and since then, I've been anxiously waiting for BFK. Now that it's finally here, I can officially tell you that I am impressed with Frdddie Gibbs. This entire tape is filled with gritty stories told straight from the streets with a true gangster flow. Some dope stuff. Enjoy it.

Taylor (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

I'm so glad that Timeflies has decided to start up Timeflies Tuesday again. I once again have a reason to look forward to Tuesdays. This week, we get an amazing showcase from both Cal and Rob. Cal shows us all again that he's more than a man who just rhymes with the best, but he can actually string together some vocals perfectly as well. The being said, I don't want to take any of the spotlight away from Rez this week either. He has managed to make an unreal melody that I can guarantee you'll have stuck in your head by the end. Seriously, don't miss out.

Be Okay - Mayo & Alex Jordahl

After taking a short break following the release of his tape, Dream Big, last month, Mayo is back with a brand new collab track with Alex Jordahl. From what I gather, these two are actually working on an entire project together, so if they continue with the same sound that they got on this joint, I will be all over it. Anyway, enjoy the new ish, and be on the lookout for more.

Age (Ryan Hemsworth Remix) - Lianne La Havas

This is gorgeous. My man Ryan Hemsworth has put together an amazing remix to Lianne La Havas' track Age, and it is just oozing with that now classic Hemsworth synth sound. This is a real chilled out track that is perfect for a lazy Tuesday evening, so enjoy it.

Walls (Vocal Edit) - 3LAU

Yeah that's right, another bootleg drop from 3LAU. This time he takes Sultan & Ned Shepard's track Walls and blesses it with some vocals from Sia, Usher, and Martin Solveig. Don't miss out on this one.

Casino Girl (Video) - OCD: Moosh & Twist

It's only been a couple weeks since OCD Moosh & Twist dropped their last track Victory, but they are back again with a great new track. Once again these Philly boys absolutely kill it, so don't miss out. Enjoy.

Never Gonna Let You Go (THR3MIX) - iSH ft. Esthero

For the second release in his THR3MIX series, iSH has put together a fantastic remix of Esthero's Never Gonna Let You Go that you will not want to miss out on. I'm really glad that iSH is back to releasing tracks, because he really does have a sound that I can see going places. So, if you don;t know the name now, definitely get familiar. Enjoy.

Coyotes (Video) - Sam Lachow & Raz ft. Ariana DeBoo

Still hot off the drop of their dope EP, 5 Good Reasons, Sam Lachow and Raz are back with a new set of visuals to accompany their joint Coyotes. This was actually probably one of my favorites off 5 Good Reasons, so I was pretty excited to see that the guys had put together a video for it. This is a great video with a simple concept, but it's extremely well done. Enjoy

Pinata After Party (EP) - Quincy Kwalae x J.T. Roach

It's been a little while since we've heard the name Quincy Kwalae here on HotLeaks, but it's not like he hasn't been on his grind, so he's clearly been just flying under my radar. For that, I apologize to you all, because I have really been depriving you of some great stuff. That being said, I am happy to present to you Quincy's newest "Qollab" project, Pinata After Party, with J.T. Roach. It's a small 4 track EP, but I can tell you that each track is just plain great. It's the perfect blending of gorgeous vocals from J.T. with Quincy's signature Electro/Pop/Dance vibes. Don't miss out.

Static - J.T. Roach & Quincy Kwalae
Body - J.T. Roach & Quincy Kwalae

No Lie (Tim Gunter Remix) - 2 Chainz ft. Drake

A sick new remix for your listening pleasure this Monday afternoon. Tim Gunter put together his own version of the 2 Chainz joint No Lie, and he absolutely wrecked it. He gave it a much more electro/house vibe, and now it's perfect for any rager. Enjoy.

The White Panda x Gangnam Style (Video)

Couldn't let you miss this one. You are either gonna love it or hate it. There is no middle ground. Pretty Fly For A White Guy x Gangnam Style plus non stop craziness in panda masks. Enjoy.

Mighty California (Video) - The Kings Dead

I love when videos tell interesting stories. The Kings Dead was created because the guys decided to expand themselves into the video industry, and they show us all with this film that it was an extremely wise choice. This is a gorgeously put together film for a fantastic track, so don't miss out. Enjoy.

Niggas Jump In Paris (3LAU Unreleased Bootleg) - Dillion Francis & Chuckie vs Jay Z and Kanye

Just in time for the weekend. Some UNREAL unreleased 3LAU that didn't quite make the cut for Dance Floor Filth 2. No idea why it didn't, because this track is straight filthy. Perfect for your ragers this weekend, so enjoy it.

Paradise (On Earth) - Cris Cab

A beautiful new free release from the extremely talented Cris Cab. This is a track that is just plain enjoyable, and you can't tell me any different. It's catchy, smooth, and would probably be some good baby makin music. Don't miss out on this one.

Late Night Through The City - Ryan Notes

Another great track from an artist who we haven't heard from in a while, Ryan Notes. The last we heard from Ryan was his video for his track Beautiful Life, so it's great to hear some new stuff. In case you missed him last time, Ryan Notes is an up and coming artist based out of Brooklyn who has been in the music game just a few years now. His latest track has a smooth and airy Clams Casino sample that manages to truly showcase Ryan's skills as an artist. My only complaint is that the track is just over 2 minutes long, because it's so enjoyable that I feel like it should be longer. It's also off his upcoming EP, so be prepared to see more from Ryan in the future. Until then, enjoy the new track.

Plastic Dreams (Video) - G-Eazy ft. Johanna Fay

Couldn't let you miss this one. Some slightly trippy, but gorgeous visuals from G-Eazy for his great track with Johanna Fay, Plastic Dreams. Enjoy.

Jet Life - Matt Easton

Check out the new joint from Matt Easton. This is actually his first new track since he dropped his mixtape, The Rhetorical Tradition, back in February. The beat is absolutely gorgeous on this one, and Matt's flow works perfectly with it. His sound has definitely matured since first hearing his joint Live Life, so it's great to hear artists grow like this. Anyway, Jet Life is off Matt's upcoming project, M.E. Musique, so be on the watch, and enjoy this one.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together (Remix) - IanJ

How did this one manage to fly under my radar? This is a fantastic new joint from IanJ was released only a couple days ago, and I can tell you that I am already addicted to it. He takes Taylor Swift's track of the same name, and really gives it his own signature spin that comes off amazingly. Enjoy this.

Weapon (Video) - Dunson

Probably my favorite track off of Dunson's latest mixtape, The Investment, now finally has a gorgeous set of visuals to go with it. This is possibly the best video that I've seen from Dunson yet because it manages to capture the beauty and vibe of the track perfectly. It is definitely not one you'll want to miss so enjoy.

Supernatural (Mixtape) - Ground Up

It's officially back to school, and summer is well over now. The end of the summer also means the end of many great summer series, such as The Supernatural Series from Ground Up. But with that also end comes this great new mixtape for our listening pleasure. Supernatural has officially dropped and it turned out pretty dope. It has some tracks that we've heard over the last few months, but it also has a bunch of dope new tracks as well. Definitely don't sleep on this one. Enjoy.

I Remember - Ground Up ft. Mazon & Aziz

Without Me (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

They're back! The always amazing Timeflies Tuesdays are back in full effect. You probably know exactly what you're getting when you press play: pure gold. But in case you wanted to know, Rob has created an unreal beat (with a little help from an eminem sample) and Cal is back to freestyling out of a hat. This is sick, so enjoy it.

Candles - Jez Dior

Why am I just hearing about this guy? Jez Dior is a great up and coming artist based out of LA, and I'll tell you that I'm absolutely blow away by his sound. He's got a flow that comes off as effortless, and a lyrical ability which is just fantastic. I didn't know his name before, but if the rest of his stuff sounds anything like this gem, I'll be all over it. Enjoy this.

I'm A Fool - J. Cole

Couldn't let you guys miss this one. Some brand new Cole, and this one actually has a really cool story to go with it. A fan of Cole's tweeted him, not truly expecting a response, asking if his new track, "I'm A Fool", had dropped yet. Cole responded with "Naw. You want it? What's your email?". From an artist as big as Cole, that's pretty dope. The fan then took a listen, then tossed up a DL for the rest of us (which promptly got shut down by Cole's record label). Anyway, here is the new track, and it's actually pretty good. Not my favorite drop from him, but still dope regardless. Enjoy it.

Summer Flake - Trey Palms x David Breeze

My man Trey Palms is back again. This time he's brought with him a brand new version of his hit track sampling Jack Johnson, Island Flake, featuring an an acoustic twist with a little help from David Breeze. Now, I loved the original version of this track, but it always kind of bugged me that the levels were slightly off with it. I now know that the reason for that was because he really didn't have the means to record a CDQ track at the time. That being said, this new acoustic version is just perfect. Trey even managed to add an extra verse, which is dope, but I still can't decide which version of the track I like more. Anyway, enjoy the new ish.

Waiting On Me - Raw Facts

It's been a long while since I've featured Raw Facts here on HotLeaks, but here he is back again. This is actually a drop off his upcoming project, Fact Or Fiction, which is dropping some time in November. In case this is your first exposure to him, Raw Facts is an up and coming artist originally out of Rochester, but now based in Baltimore. A hot track from an up and coming presence in the game, so enjoy it.

Damn - Styles of Beyond ft. Michael Buble

Here's two things that I would have never put together. Styles of Beyond, and underground hip-hop group who I only know of purely for their feature on Fort Minor's track Remember The Name, and the king of big band jazz/pop, Michael Buble. You're probably thinking the same thing that I was, but I can guarantee you that you'll enjoy this track. Ryu and Tak absolutely kill it with their seemingly effortless flow, and Vin Scully and Cheapshot have created an old-school beat that is just unmatched. Then finally, Mr. Buble comes in with a fantastically smooth hook that I know you will find yourself bobbing your head to. You can't not enjoy this one.

Coffee Break - Kyle Lucas

Just when I thought that the Coffee Break beat from Zeds Dead was dead, Kyle Lucas comes along and breathes some new life into it. It's been a minute since we've heard from Kyle but he's back, and he's brought the first drop off his upcoming mixtape, It's Always Sunny In Marietta 2, with him. The tape is actually dropping sometime next week, so be on the lookout for that one. Until then, enjoy the new ish.

Jerusalem (Album) - The Kings Dead

The day has finally arrived. The Kings Dead (formerly The Dean's List) have finally released their "debut" album, Jerusalem, and let me tell you, it is every bit as fantastic as was expected. In case you missed the bus, The Kings Dead is a true artistic evolution of the group previously known as The Dean's List. They have grown into a group that not only does music, but also puts together gorgeous visuals. Jerusalem is a great showcase of The Kings Dead's evolution, and personally, I love where their sound is going. There is not a single track on this album that I don't enjoy, so definitely don't sleep on this gem. Enjoy.

Purity Ring 'Obedear' Remix - Beau Young Prince

This has to be my favorite track from Beau Young Prince in the last little while. Not that his previous tracks have been bad, it's just that this joint is on a whole other level. BYP's flow becomes absolutely hypnotic and manages to work perfectly with this beat. Do not miss this one. No DL as of yet, but I will definitely be on the watch for it.

Where Were You - Drake & Dawn Richard

Yeah that's right. Some previously unreleased Drizzy has recently leaked. This is a smooth joint, but I can already tell that people are either going to love it or hate it. It's a little heavy on the synths, but I'm definitely feeling it. Enjoy.

5 Good Reasons (EP) - Sam Lachow & Raz

Now this is dope. I am so glad that I was introduced to Sam Lachow, and now Raz. 5 Good Reasons has been on my radar since these guys dropped the track/video for Nothing's Gonna Change a couple weeks ago, and now that it has dropped, I feel like I need to share it with everyone. I've said it before, but Sam has  managed to truly capture the soul of his neighborhood and then embodies it in his sound and flow. On a slightly different note, the way that Sam and Raz's flows play off of one another is just perfect, and it really manages to make this entire tape fantastic. You will not want to miss out on 5 Good Reasons. Enjoy it.

Don't You Worry Child (Video) - Swedish House Mafia

Many of you have probably already seen this gem, but here's for those of you that missed it.

Sour Apple Rich Girls (Video) - The Kings Dead

I love where The Kings Dead has taken their sound. They have really evolved into something truly fantastic. That being said, they've gotten some flac for moving away from their so called "college rap", but if you ask me, it shows great artistry to evolve in such a way that these guys have. Anyway, enjoy the great new joint, and be on the watch for Jerusalem, coming soon.

Lady Killers - G-Eazy ft. Hoodie Allen

Another amazing drop off G-Eazy's upcoming album Must Be Nice, and this time he gets a little help from the always fantastic Hoodie Allen. This team up actually sounds unreal. Lady Killers is dripping with that 50's vibe that G-Eazy is now known for, and Hoodie's flow manages to fit right into it just perfectly. Not a track to miss. Enjoy it, and be on the watch for Must Be Nice, coming September 26th (in case you couldn't read the album art above).

On The Grind - JayR ft. Jitta On The Track & Haven

So it's been a minute since we've heard anything from JayR here on HotLeaks, but when I saw that he had hooked up with Jitta On The Track and Haven, I just couldn't pass this new track. JayR is once again on my radar after hearing this joint, so definitely be on the watch. Enjoy it.

Don't Tweet This (Video) - Tech N9ne

Dope new track from Tech N9ne off his upcoming album, E.B.A.H.. I'll be the first to tell you that this is a sick track, but the hook is the one thing holding it back because it took a while to really grow on me. Other than that, it's a dope joint that just screams "play me loud in the car". Enjoy.

Whenever (Video) - Ground Up

A fantastic piece of cinematography for Ground Up's dope track Whenever. I usually hate these videos with the long openings, but this one built up to a great video. Don't miss out, and be on the look out for the album, Supernatural, coming September 18th. Enjoy.

Summer Of Rad (Mixtape) - Radical Something

I am now officially a week into classes, so it's probably safe to say that summer is over. The boys of Radical Something really created a great soundtrack for the summer, and they did so by releasing a brand new track every single week. Now that it's all over, they decided to release all of their tracks in one big compilation mixtape, so if you missed any, you should definitely check this out. On somewhat of a side note, the guys have announced that they are going on tour this fall, The Be Easy Tour, so if you're interested peep the dates here. Now here's my favorite track from this #SUMMERofRAD. Enjoy.

Naked In Venice - Radical Something

Download: Summer of Rad

Time (The Two Friends Remix) - Chase & Status ft. Delilah

My boys The Two Friends have put together yet another fantastic remix. I've said it countless times before, but these guys really can't create a bad track, and this new remix to Time is a prime example of just that. Enjoy it.

Tuesday, September 11, 2012

Demons - iSH ft. e-dubble

Where did this come from? I honestly would have never guessed that iSH (who you might recognize from tracks like Let Them and Dreamer) and e-dubble (primarily known for his unreal Freestyle Friday series) would have teamed up, let alone on a track like this. Demons is a heavy hitting and an oddly addictive track. Both iSH and e-dubble's flows manage to play off of one another surprisingly well, so the track just comes together perfectly. This is actually a drop of iSH's brand new remix series known as #THR3MIX, which if this joint is any indication, is going to be dope. Enjoy it.

Shadows EP - New Linen

After countless months of waiting, New Linen has finally dropped their EP, Shadows. Since over the last little while these guys have been consistently releasing tracks, about half of the joints on this EP we've heard before. But the new ones are definitely great tracks that you will not want to miss out on. There is just something really enjoyable about the way their flow intertwines with their catchy beats. Check this one out for sure.

Victory (Video) - OCD: Moosh & Twist

OCD: Moosh & Twist are a couple of artists who have the quality over quantity formula down pat. There are way too many artists out there who drop way too many tracks in failed attempts to get themselves more exposure, but I can tell you right now that Moosh & Twist are not even close to being those types of artists. It seems like every single track that they drop is just plain golden, so it manages to make you completely forget the fact that they haven't dropped a new song in months. Not that I'm complaining, because like I have said countless times, it's all about quality. Anyway, enjoy the new ish.

American Terrorist Pt. 2 - Lupe Fiasco

In case you missed it, Lupe dropped a great new track over the weekend, but it was a bittersweet release to say the least. Lupe is seriously thinking about retiring from the rap game. That would be a huge hole that I honestly don't think would ever be filled. But I'm going to play the ignorance card now and pretend that he didn't announce that, so hopefully it doesn't actually happen. Anyway, enjoy the fantastic track.

Feed The DaDa (Infinite Limit Remix) - DaDa Life

Now I don't mind the original track from DaDa Life, but to be honest with you, it was a little too dub-heavy for me to really enjoy it. Since the original dropped a couple weeks ago, I can't tell you how many remixes I have heard of it. That being said, this remix from Infinite Limit is probably the best one that I have listened to. He manages to move away from the dub and give the track a much more EDM feel, which if you ask me, makes the track ten times better. Anyway, enjoy this one.

Growing Young (Video) - DFD

Here's a treat to cure your Sunday blues. A great new track/video from Dumbfoundead that I can guarantee you will be playing over and over again. Growing Young is a fantastic self-reflection track from DFD, and you find yourself hanging on every single word that he spits. That right there is true artistry. Enjoy it.

Friday, September 7, 2012

Don't You Worry Child (Acoustic) - Swedish House Mafia ft. John Martin

Gorgeous. Swedish House Mafia premiered a brand new acoustic version of their hit track Don't You Worry Child with John Martin, and it is absolutely unreal. I'll tell you though, tonight is a relaxation night for me, so this track fits into it just perfectly. You can't not enjoy this one.

Thursday, September 6, 2012

Clique - Kanye West ft. Big Sean & Jay-Z

G.O.O.D Music has arrived. With Cruel Summer dropping in a few weeks, it was only a matter of time until another track leaked. Enjoy.

City Of Dreams (Trademark Vocal Bootleg) - Dirty South & Alesso ft. Ruben Haze

A sick new vocal bootleg from DJ Trademark. He takes Dirty South & Alesso's already great track City Of Dreams, and gives it a whole new feel that you just cant help but enjoy. This is not a bootleg that you will want to miss out on.

The Hard - Freddie Gibbs ft. Dana Williams

Here's a fresh new drop from the king of hood, Freddie Gibbs. If this is the first time you've heard Freddie Gibbs,  you will definitely be impressed. Freddie's tough hood flow is something that you'll find yourself vibing to immediately, but beneath it lyrics about life in streets is what grips you. This one is a little different than his previous drop Bout It Bout It, but it's just a great, and I can guarantee that this wont be the last you hear his name. Enjoy.

Fat Fire - KA5UM

My man KA5UM is back. He was on a little hiatus this summer but he's back, and he's brought one hell of a banger with him. He decided to slam together Bonfire by Knife Party with a track that really brought back a ton of memories, Fat Lip from Sum 41. I honestly grew up rocking out to Sum 41, so when I that heard KA5UM was using it, I was all over it. This is a hot joint, so enjoy it.

Detroit (Mixtape) - Big Sean

It's finally here. Big Sean's first free mixtape since Finally Famous 3, which was released over 2 years ago now, has finally dropped. Since Finally Famous 3, Big Sean has definitely grown his sound, and he's now considered one of the big players in the hip hop game.

24K of Gold ft. J. Cole - Big Sean
Sellin Dreams - Big Sean ft. Chris Brown

Bonus Tracks: Life Should Go On ft. Wale + All I Know ft. Wiz Khalifa

Download: Detroit

Feathers - Archie & Fareoh

A gorgeous new original electro/house track from some fresh faces to HotLeaks, Archie and Fareoh. Once again, it's one of those bangers that I just end up putting on repeat, and there is nothing wrong with that. Huge shouts to The K for this gem, so enjoy it.

All I Got - Hendersin

Here's yet another fantastic track from the always dope Hendersin for your listening pleasure. This is a drop off his upcoming mixtape "No Rhyme Or Reason Vol 2: Just A Sample", which, if I were a betting man, will be a must download mixtape. With each new track that Hendersin drops, the more I feel like he is finding passion in his music, which is dope to hear from an artist. Anyway, enjoy this one, and be on the watch for No Rhyme Or Reason Vol 2.

Ruby Red (Video) - The Kings Dead

Another track from some artists who have really evolved their sound. The Kings Dead (formerly The Dean's List) have now dropped another single off their upcoming album, Jerusalem. From the sounds of this one, as well as their previous track Hennessy at Cookouts, Jerusalem is going to be one hell of an album. Enjoy this one.

Become - Cam Meekins

I definitely slept on this gem. Cam Meekins dropped a new track a few days ago and I downloaded it right away, but it just kind of got lost in my iTunes after that, which is a shame, because this track is actually pretty amazing. Cam's lyrical ability and flow have really grown into something fantastic, and you can definitely hear it on this track. Enjoy.

Need Your Love (Video) - Sol

I love this track, and in my opinion it was probably one of the standouts off of Sol's latest project, Yours Truly. That being said, when I saw it was getting visuals, I just needed to check them out, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed in the least. Definitely check this out.

Monday, September 3, 2012

Adorn (Remix) - Miguel ft. Wiz Khalifa

I've been listening to this gem all day, so I figured it was about time to share it with you in case you missed it. Wiz spits a verse on Miguel's extremely smooth track Adorn, and it actually works really well. Enjoy.

Walk On By (Sound Remedy Remix) - Noosa

I just can't figure out what it is about this gorgeous remix from Sound Remedy that has me playing it over and over again, and I'm still not tired of it in the least. Definitely check this one out.

In This Life (Cover) - Mike Stud ft. Acoustic Truth + Sunday Stud Day: The Mixtape

Over the weekend, Mike Stud's hit track In This Life ft. Loggy hit a million views, so in celebration he decided that he'd drop a cover of it, this time featuring Acoustic Truth. This is a gorgeous way to end off an amazing summer of #SundayStudDay's. Also, since it's the end of #SundayStudDay, that means that Stud has finally put together a compilation tape of every single track that he has released this summer, and let me tell you, it is not one to miss. The entire tape is a perfect edition to you end of summer playlist. Grab a couple of my favorite tracks below, then cop the whole tape. Enjoy.

Glad You Came (Remix) - Mike Stud
One More Night (Remix) - Mike Stud ft. ELEW

Carly Rae's Good Hangover - Nammo

Here's a sick new banger for you, from a fresh face to HotLeaks, Nammo. And before you ask, no this isn't another mash using Call Me Maybe. Nammo actually used Carly Rae and Owl City's joint Good Time and slammed it together with Hardwell's remix of Hangover, Lionheart and Shots, to create a perfect joint for your first clash bash. Enjoy.
