Outta Control - Trey Palms

After a brief hiatus from the game, my man Trey Palms is back, and just like old times, he absolutely kills it. I will say that I'm still upset that he doesn't send his new drops directly to me and I always have to find it through some other blog, but I guess I can get over than that because his music is always so great. Outta Control is a drop, from what I can gather, off his upcoming project Can't Hardly Wait, which he's dropping within the next few months. This track is probably the hardest I've heard Trey spit in a while, and over this sick beat, it comes out fantastic. He yet again proves why he is one of my favorite artists around. Don't miss out on this one.

High For This (Prod. by Xaphoon Jones) - Ellie Goulding

Pretty sure I died and am in heaven right now. The always unreal Ellie Goulding decided to give us her own take on The Weeknd's High For This. To make things even better, she recruited the extremely talented Xaphoon Jones to put his own spin on the beat, and it came out fantastic. This track is truly gorgeous. It's the kind of track that the second you press play, you never want it to end. You can't not enjoy this one.

Stone Cold Recipe Freestyle - XV

Vizzy is back, and he shows us that no matter how long he is gone from the game, we should never forget his name. Vizzy is on point as always with this one. Filled with great flow and a tight beat, Stone Cold Freestyle Recipe is not one you'll want to miss.

Surfs Up! - The Freshmen

Now I'll be honest, I really don't know that much about The Freshmen, but what I do know is that I am definitely interested in where they are going. I got an email earlier today with this track in it, and since pressing play, I've had it on repeat. Their sound reminds me a bit of Ground Up, mixed with a bit more of a California feel good vibe, which is pretty dope if you ask me. I will definitely be on the watch for more from these guys. Enjoy this one.

Silk Pillow - Childish Gambino ft. Beck

I'm honestly not sure how to take this one. Gambino decided to team up with somebody completely unexpected, Beck, and create a brand new track. The reason I'm kind of on the fence with this one has nothing to do with Gambino, because he is absolutely on point, it's just the spoken word rap from Beck that makes me a bit shaky. Although the more I listen, the more I enjoy, so it may just be a thing of time. Anyway, check this one out.
