Doubt Me - Mega Ran x Lefty x Futuristic

I'll be honest with you, I had never heard of Mega Ran before Futuristic posted this track, but from now one I'll definitely be paying attention to him. A catchy beat and some really smooth flow all around. Check this one out for sure.

Time Is Money - Vic Mensa ft. Rockie Fresh & Beldina

When I first heard Vic Mensa's solo stuff, I knew that he was going to start making some noise in the game. Well here it is, first there was some collab work with Chance The Rapper, and now a track featuring Rockie Fresh and Beldina, and some production from Boi 1da & Maven Boys. Definitely don't catch yourself sleeping on Vic Mensa, because he's going places. Enjoy.

Love Into The Light - DJ Tuto

What's the best way to get over hump day blues? A perfect rager track from DJ Tuto! It's been a little while since we've heard from Tuto, but his track Lets Go is still on constant rotation, so it feels like he never left. Anyway, enjoy this sick new mash, and get ready to rage.

No Interruption (Acoustic) - Hoodie Allen

This is amazing. Hoodie Allen recently decided to put together a project entitled Americoustic, which you guessed it, is going to be a series of acoustic covers of tracks off his fantastic album, All American. I can't even tell you how excited I am for it. No Interuption, one of his most popular tracks off the album, is the first to get the acoustic treatment, and as I said, it's absolutely spectacular. Definitely not one you will want to miss out on. As for the next release, no word yet, but my hopes are for No Faith In Brooklyn. Anyway, enjoy the track

Download: for free or via iTunes

Raining Love - KYLE

Even though KYLE's album Beautiful Loser is dropping in less than a week, he decided to give us one last taste before the final release. Raining Love is little bit more mellow than his previous release, Bang, but it really manages to showcase once again how diverse and talented KYLE is as an artist. Enjoy this one, and be on the look out for Beautiful Loser, dropping August 5th.

Everybody's Something (Video) - Chance The Rapper

Everybody's Something, a stand out on Chance The Rapper's fantastic mixtape Acid Rap, now officially has a set of acid infused visuals to go along with it. I really don't know what to say about this one, so just do yourself a favor and check it out above, and it you haven't yet, go cop Acid Rap.

Revelations & Friends (Video) - Windoview

There's just something great about Windoview. Their sound is consistently smooth and infectious, and you just find yourself thoroughly enjoying their songs time and time again. Revelations & Friends is a track off their latest project, Distractions, but now the guys have decided to put together a fantastic video to go along with it. Check it out above, and if you like what you hear, check out the album and be on the lookout for more in the future.

Frownin (The Hood Internet Remix) - Gunplay x Isaiah Toothtaker x Sasac

It's been a while since I've heard the name The Hood Internet, and honestly I have no idea why, because they were actually some of the first few artists who really got me into the mashup scene. A couple weeks ago, I was flipping through my ipod and I came across their classic track Cult Logic Forever, and I thought to myself: "hey, I should check out if these guys are still killing it". I'm happy to say that they still are, and from now on, I'll be paying much closer attention to their releases. Anyway, here's their latest, so enjoy it.

Mollylujah (Video) - Jitta On The Track

Jitta absolutely kills this one. I'm addicted to this track, so when I got word that he released a video, I was all over it. Check it out above, then cop the track below.

Foamposites - Jalin Roze & D. Fresh

Spotted this great track over on The K yesterday, and since downloading it, I have been listening to it non stop. Jalin Roze, an up and comer out of Louisville, and D.Fresh have put together a fantastic track that is straight enjoyable to listen to. Check it out below.

Fire - Big Sean

No way I was going to let you miss out on Big Sean's newest. Enjoy it.

Thizzles - Tech N9ne ft. Danny Brown

Yeah, this happened. Tech N9ne hooked up with Danny Brown for this latest cut of Tech's upcoming album, Something Else, and it sounds exactly like you would have imagined it sounded like. Enjoy.

The Window Seat - Dylan Owen

Welcome back Dylan Owen. It's been a LONG while since we've heard from him (his video for In The Corner dropped over a year ago, and his mixtape Keep Your Friends Closes was 5 months before that), but  now he's officially back at it, and if you ask me, her's better than ever. He's still got that fantastic story telling ability that pulled me into his sound in the first place, but now it feels like there's a certain air of maturity to his flow and lyricism. This is a track you should definitely check out.

If We Really Try (Video) - J. Lye & Ashley Sofia

It's been a while since we've heard from J. Lye here on HotLeaks, but this latest track with Ashley Sofia is the perfect re-introduction. A gorgeous hook and melody from Ashley Sofia, and some perfectly smooth flow from J. Lye combine to create a track that is just plain enjoyable to listen to. Don't miss out on this one, and if you enjoy it, you can cop it on iTunes below.

Lions Can't Fly - Issa Gold

Another killer track coming from The Beast Coast. This time it's from one half of The Underachievers, Issa Gold. This is not a track to sleep on, so enjoy it.

Coming Down - Skizzy Mars x Jon Waltz

Yet another track that I managed to miss. Skizzy Mars hooked up with Jon Waltz, and together they've put together probably my favorite track from Skizzy in a long little while. Don't sleep on this one like I did.

Spark - Trademark

Trademark is always sick, and this latest mash is no exception. This time he's blended Jason Derulo, Dinka, Dzeko & Torres, and Daphne to create a perfect track for those unforgetable summer nights. I feel like this should be playing full blast as you relax with a bunch of friends on the beach at sunset. Yes, I'm well aware of how specific a reference that is, but believe me, you'll understand when you press play. Enjoy it.

Lost Generation (Video) - Rizzle Kicks

The latest from Rizzle Kicks is great as always. Check it out above.

I Choose Pony - The Jane Doze

Need some baby making music? Well my girls The Jane Doze have got you covered. Timeflies' I Choose U mixed with Ginuwine's Pony. No matter how you're feeling right, this exactly what you need. Enjoy.

Mollyluah - Jitta On The Track

Simply put, Jitta On The Track always kills it. His latest, Mollylujah, has a club inspired trap beat, and some classic Jitta flow that's bound to get your rager started. Check it out below.

Hell Of A Rhyme (Video) - Luke Christopher

It's been a minute since we've heard from Luke Christopher, but I've always said that he's one of those artists who truly exemplifies the phrase "quality over quantity". He also seems to get better and better with each new release, and this one is no different. His flow is on point, his lyrics are tight, and he always seems to have a sick beat. This is not one to miss, and hopefully we hear more from him soon.

Cold Sweat - Trey Palms

This newest drop from Trey Palms is a little bit of switch up compared to his last track, I Hate You. Cold Sweat takes up the energy, and sharpens the beat, but Trey still manages to shine, like always. Don't sleep on this one.

Venting Basement - Prophetz

If you don't recognize the name, don't feel too bad, because I had no idea who these guys were either when I first got sent this track. Prophetz actually consists of Name Is Her, Ez, and familiar face, Dizzy X. This one was one of those mystery emails that managed to catch my attention, and I'm glad that it did, because Venting Basement is actually pretty impressive. Check it out below.

Centipede - Childish Gambino

Welcome back Gambino. After a little hiatus (his last track, Body So Tight with DJ Reflex, was all the way back in May) Bino is back, and he's back to killing it. Centipede is off his next project, but no real word yet what it's called or when it's being released. Enjoy this one.

Play In The Rain - Futuristic ft. Dizzy Wright

Some impressive stuff from Futuristic lately. This latest one is a slowed down joint, with self reflected lyrics and features a verse from Dizzy Wright. Definitely don't sleep on this one.

Letter To The Industry (Mixtape) - PropaneLv

Even though I knew exactly what this new mixtape from Lv was going to be like, I was still completely surprised with the quality of it, from start to finish. Not that I expected a sub par project, it's just that I didn't think the tape would have 22 tracks of pure gold on it. Some great remixes that we've heard before (Eyes Like Sky, Blood On The Leaves), as well as a few new gems (Holy Grail). This is not a project that you'll want to sleep on. And get excited for Varsity Blues, coming this fall.

Just Friends - Blackbear ft. NYLO

So I downloaded this gem from Blackbear a few days back when it was first released, but I just realized today that I never actually got around to doing a post for it, and for that I want to apologize. This track is straight up infectious, and I can guarantee that you'll find yourself pressing play over and over again. Enjoy it.

Cross Roads - Mick Jenkins ft. Chance The Rapper & Vic Mensa

Chi city stand up. Mick Jenkins, a somewhat fresh face in the game, manged to grab your favorite rapper's favorite rapper Chance The Rapper, as well as up and coming windy city prince Vic Mensa for a track that is just straight fire. Don't sleep on this one.

Break It Down - Mike Stud

#SundayStudDay is always a good day, but this week is extra special. Mike Stud has decided to drop a freestyle, Timeflies style, by pulling topics from a hat. Enjoy it.

Odd Look (Remix) - Kavinsky ft. The Weeknd

Kavinsky, in case you don't recognize the name, is the producer who put together the unreal track, Nightcall, on the soundtrack for Drive. With his original production, and The Weeknd's always unreal vocals, you have a track that is just plain infectious. Check it out below.

Ill Mind Of Hopsin 6 (Video) - Hopsin

Another fantastic addition to Hopsin's Ill Mind series. Number 6 is a pretty powerful track all about how he lost a friend to drugs. Check this one out for sure.

All My Niggas - E-40 ft. Danny Brown & ScHoolboy Q

Hip hop veteran E-40 decided to grab Danny Brown and ScHoolboy Q for his latest track, and it sounds exactly like you would think it would sound: sick. Don't sleep on this one.

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Hollywood LA (Video) - Vic Mensa

Another great track from Vic Mensa. First came Orange Soda, and now with this track, Vic is definitely on his way to a solid solo career. I can't wait to hear his upcoming project, Innanetape, so definitely be on the lookout for that. Enjoy.

Elevate - St. Lucia

I downloaded this new gem from St. Lucia a couple days ago, but just realized that I never actually shared it with you guys. Elevate has a bubbly summertime vibe that is just plain infectious, and it actually kind of reminds me of some 80's music (the good stuff). Check it out below.

No Sleep Gang - Crooked I

Always have been, and always will be a huge Crooked I fan, so whenever I see something fresh, I need to check it out. This is the latest off his upcoming project Apex Predator, so be on the watch for that. Enjoy.

Tuesday, July 16, 2013

Hive (Video) - Earl Sweatshirt ft. Vince Staples & Casey Veggies

This is both dark and twisted, but honestly I just couldn't turn it off. This is the latest cut off Earl's upcoming album Doris, which drops August 19th. Check it out above and make your own opinions.

Push With Me - The White Panda

Another full length from The White Panda's Bearly Legal, and as expected, it's fantastic. This time it's their No Doubt x Tritonal x Seven Lions mash Push With Me. Enjoy it.

Dear Mom - Marc Goone

Simply put, this new track from Marc Goone is just plain spectacular. No other words can really describe it. Dear Mom has a ton of emotion poured into it, and you really can feel that when you're listening to it. This is not one you should pass over. Check it out above, and then go grab it on iTunes, because all profits go directly to the charity "Friends of Kids with Cancer". Enjoy.

Sedated - The Two Friends ft. Jeff Sontag

I'm pretty sure that The Two Friends are wizards, because every single track that they put together is just plain magical. But seriously, all puns aside, this track really is amazing. Once again the guys have decided to put together an all original track, with a little help from Jeff Sontag, and its a pleasure to listen to. Just do yourself a favor, and check it out below.

Amanda Bynes (Versace Remix) - Mike Stud

I don't think I'll ever get tired of Mike Stud's word play. This newest #SundayStudDay release is probably one of my favorites of the last little while. Enjoy it.

It's A Cold World - Jeezy

It's actually pretty great to hear Young Jeezy get political. Here's his tribute to Trayvon Martin, with the following words attached:
I am in no way shape, form, or fashion am trying to capitalize off of the latest series of events. These are my true feelings and my form of expression about it.
- Young Jeezy

Games We Play - PropaneLv

Just to warn you, this is NOT what you may be used to hearing from PropaneLv (it actually kind of caught me off guard when I first heard it), but it's actually pretty sick. Instead of his normal hip hop vibe, Games We Play has more of an EDM/pop feel to it. Now like I said, it's a bit different than what we're used to from Lv, but being the extremely talented artist that he is, he manages to pull it off flawlessly. Now this one isn't slated for his debut original album, Varsity Blues, which drops in September, but it should hold you over until his compilation/mixtape of his best remixes (plus some new ones) drops on the 22nd. Enjoy this one, and be on that watch for more coming soon.

Bound 2 - Shad & Skratch Bastid

Kanye's Yeezus was extremely underwhelming, but I will say that I ended up getting hooked on Bound 2. So that being said, when I saw Shad hooked up with Skratch Bastid again and they jumped in on Bound 2, I was I was all over it. I will honestly say that I think that this version rivals the original. Check it out.

Last Night - Sebastian Mikael ft. Wale

I'll admit, I got caught sleeping on this one. Sebastian Mikael (formerly De-Lor) has definitely moved up in the world. He recently signed with Slip-N-Slide records (whose other artists include Plies and Jagged Edge) and has clearly been doing things if he's manged to grab Wale for his latest single. Last Night is just plain enjoyable. Check it out below.

Gees (Video) - Mac Miller ft. ScHoolboy Q

How did I manage to miss a new video for one of my favorite tracks off Mac's Watching Movies With The Sound Off? Well here it is a little late, but you can still enjoy it. And if you haven't copped the album yet, you can grab just the track below.

Take Back The Night - Justin Timberlake

Did you really think I was going to let you all miss out on the latest from JT? Take Back The Night is his first single off his upcoming followup album, The 20/20 Experience Part 2. Enjoy.

Hard To Stop - Trademark

This is exactly what my life has been missing lately: some brand new Trademark. I'm pretty sure that at this point, you know that you're going to get pure gold from Trademark, so there's no real point in me trying to hype this one up. This time he's blended Vicetone with Daft Punk and thrown in some vocals from Ne-Yo. Enjoy this one.

I Hate You - Trey Palms

In the mood for a track that will be stuck in your head for days? Well look no further because Trey Palms has got you covered. This is actually probably one of my favorite tracks from Trey as of late, which is saying a lot, because as you all know, I'm a huge fan of his. The first couple verses are unbelievably smooth, the hook is absolutely addicting, and the final verse is Trey at his finest. Definitely not a track to miss out on.

80 Bars Part 2 - Sam Lachow

I loved his first 80 Bars track back in April, so when I saw this latest one, it was a no brainer to check it out.  Part 2 follows the same formula as the first, but in case you missed that one, Sam Lachow takes his skills and pours them all over some classic beats that you're bound to recognize. Don't sleep on this one.

Dublin Days (New York Lights) - The Original Rudeboys

I am so glad that I got introduced to The Original Rudeboys. There's just something amazing about this trio from Dublin. The way that the smooth vocals work perfectly with Irish rapping and ukulele beats is just too good. But anyway, this is their latest track off their upcoming EP, Written Songs, which I can guarantee you will be fantastic. Enjoy this one, and don't forget to check out the EP on July 20th.

Promiseland (EP) - Ground Up

You've got to love surprises like this. Now it's been a while since we've heard some new stuff from Ground Up (their last track was Head Over Heels back in Feb), but the guys have been working hard over the last few months, and decided to announce this EP just last week. Well here it is, and let me just say, the second I pressed play, it was like Ground Up had never left. Their sound is always dialed in, and this EP is no different. Definitely check it out.

We Can't Stop - Mike Stud

I completely forgot about this new drop from Mike Stud. For the newest #SundayStudDay, Mike Stud's decided to put his own spin on Miley's newest single, and he absolutely kills it. Check it out above, and enjoy.

All Star (Kasum Remix) - Smash Mouth

This is too good. After jumping into the remix game only a few weeks ago with his fantastic remix to Timeflies' I Choose U, Kasum is already back at it, and showing us that he wasn't a one shot remix wonder. Now I was a little bit skeptical when I first saw this, but that's just because All Star is such a classic track, but the second I pressed play, all my doubts were dissolved. Kasum has made Smash Mouth's hit track not just a party throwback, but a perfect track for you're rager as well. Check it out below.

Numb - Jigz The Flyer ft. PartyNextDoor

Don't really know how I stumbled onto this one, but I'm glad that I did. Jigz The Flyer (who you might recognize from a track with Jitta called Ayy Caramba from last year) is an artist out of CT who's got a great sound. The beat and hook on this track remind me of something Drake would put together, and Jigz' flow is a bit like Jitta x A$AP Rocky. Don't miss out on this one.

Guilty By Association (Mixtape) - Pretty Boy Cuv

It's finally here. Pretty Boy Cuv's debut mixtape. Now I introduced you to this kid back in May, but in case you missed out, Cuv hails from my hometown, Halifax, NS, Canada, and has actually only been rapping for about a year or so. He's got a lot of raw talent, and if you ask me, a ton of potential to do things. He's got quick and witty wordplay, mixed with some sharp flow. A great combination. Enjoy this one.

The Fire Next Time (EP) - ANTHM

ANTHM kills it every single time he puts together a project. Now to be completely honest with you, I actually just learned about this EP a couple days ago when he released the track, I Remember. Now I know what you're thinking: "Why didn't you post it?". Well I've had a late last couple nights, so I haven't really had time to post as much as I would have liked, and for that I apologize. But anyway, here it is, the entire EP in all its glory. ANTHM's delivery, flow and lyricism are all fantastic, like I've said countless times, but this project is yet another platform for him to showcase them. Check it out below.

Greenlights (Video) - e-dubble

Happy First Friday! In case you're behind the times, First Friday is e-dubble's series of monthly releases, dropped on, you guessed it, the first Friday of every month. For his latest, he's decided to put together a new video for his great track Greenlights, which was actually one of his most popular Freestyle Friday releases, and it even found a place onto his compilation mixtape, Written Thursday. Anyway, check out the visuals above, and have a great First Friday.

Smoke Again (Blended Babies Remix) - Chance The Rapper ft. Ab-Soul

I hate to say it, but I think I like this new remix of Chance The Rapper & Ab-Soul's Smoke Again from Blended Babies more than I like the original. There's just something about this twisted and trippy electronic beat that work perfectly with this track. Definitely don't sleep on this one.

The Proclamation (Video) - The Underachievers

When the audio for this one dropped on Wednesday, the guys from The Underachievers  said that they had to hold off on the highly anticipated visuals because the videographer wanted to improve it. Well here it is, so enjoy.

Burn - Ellie Goulding

Simply put, Ellie is the girl of my dreams, but by some ridiculous chance, I managed to miss her latest track when she released it a few days ago. Well here it is, and just like everything else that she touches, it is absolutely golden. Check it out.

Alone (Video) - Hodgy Beats

Alright, so Odd Future is officially killing it again. This is the latest from Hodgy Beats, and I just can't get it out of my head. Check it out above.

Wednesday, July 3, 2013

Trampoline (Prod. Diplo) - Tinie Tempah ft. 2 Chainz

To be completely honest, this isn't exactly what I expected when I heard that Tinie Tempah was back. But that being said, I'm actually really feeling this track. First off, this production from Diplo is straight crack. Tinie spits fire, but that was to be expected, and 2 Chainz actually doesn't do too bad. Check it below and make your own opinions.

Used To Be - Mike Stud

A new #SundayStudDay release from none other than Mike Stud. I missed out on this one because I was out celebrating Canada day, but now that I've heard it, I can officially say that I'm a fan of it. Used To Be is a track that didn't quite make the cut for Relief, but I can't understand why it didn't, because it's one of those gems that Stud releases every so often with meaningful lyrics. Plus it has some production help from the always great One Love, so it can't be all that bad. Check it out above.

The Proclamation - The Underachievers

Now we were promised a video to go with this new track from The Underachievers, but according to the YouTube audio link, "VIDEOGRAPHER DELETED THE VIDEO TO IMPROVE IT (SMH) HERES THE AUDIO". Now I'm gonna say what I said when Issa Gold dropped his track Rise Of The AU again: The beast coast is absolutely killing it. This is one of the tightest tracks I've heard in a while, so don't sleep. Check it out below, and be on the watch for some visuals soon.

Tuesday, July 2, 2013

Bang (Video) - KYLE ft. Mr. Man

This is my track right here. I've been blasting this joint from KYLE & Mr. Man since first downloading it when it dropped last month. Now I've said before that I'm not a huge fan of long openings in videos, but this one actually works. Plus with this new video, it gives me another excuse to listen to this sick track. Enjoy it.

Going To The Ceremony - Kid CuDi

I'm gonna be straight, this definitely isn't my favorite track from Cudi, but there's still something about that's just plain haunting about it. And in terms of details behind this track, all that's attached to this one is a quote from Cudi, "its all happening...". My hopes are that it means more music coming. Anyway, check it out below.

Imagine Nation (Video) - ANTHM

A simple new set of visuals from ANTHM, but honestly, I'm just going to use this as a platform to promote his latest EP, Handful Of Dust. Imagine Nation was actually just a little interlude tossed onto the EP, but ANTHM's flow never ceases to amaze me. Check out the video above, and if you haven't yet, go cop Handful Of Dust.
