High For This - Olu ft. Jay Foss & The Weeknd

Another drop off his upcoming mixtape, Cover Letters, and once again Olu kills it. This is honestly one of my favorite tracks that he's released off the tape. I really don't have much to say about this, because Olu and ta fresh face, Jay Foss, kill this track. Olu takes The Weeknd's High For This, mixes it up a bit, and then spits straight gold all over it, proving again why he is one of my favorite artists in the game right now. I know you'll enjoy this one.

Since U Been Gone (Kelly Clarkson Remix) - Sex Ray Vision

Now, I will be straight, Kelly Clarkson may or may not be one of my many guilty pleasures. Sometimes I just need to blast me some Already Gone. Don't judge me. So, that is the reason why I needed to check this one out when I saw it. Plus it's Sex Ray Vision, and have they ever done anything bad? Didn't think so. Enjoy the remix.

Overboard - Ground Up ft. Young Chris

It's here! The first official single off Ground Up's upcoming mixtape, The Get Up, and it's a hot one. The beat and flow of this one gives it a little bit of an old school vibe, which is dope. As always, the guys kill it, and this track just gets me more excited for The Get Up. Enjoy this one, and for a bonus treat, I included their promo they dropped a little bit ago with another teaser of a track on it.

**Bonus teaser**

Drive Me Love - KA5UM

Don't know much about this kid other than he's a brand new mash artist based out of NYC. This is actually his first track, and let me say, I'm really impressed for this being a first go. Anyway, KA5UM takes some 3LAU and mixes it with R3hab & Swanky Tunes, David Guetta, and then adds a little splash of Adele. To be honest, I got sent this one earlier today and I tossed it on the iPod on my way to the gym, and when I got there, I found out that it was a sick track to work out to. Anyway, check this one out for sure.

The Empire - Iron Solomon ft. Talib Kweli

How have I not heard of this guy? Iron Solomon is an artist based out of NY (clearly from the album artwork) who has clearly been on his grind. Teaming up with Talib Kweli is pretty huge, plus he has over 14,000 fans on FB, so he has definitively been making some noise, but clearly I haven't been listening. This joint is unreal. It's off his upcoming LP, Monster, which if it sounds ANYTHING like this, I will be all over it. A dope track, from a fresh face to HotLeaks. Shouts to Cory for sending this gem my way. Enjoy this one.

Hey, Breath Out - DJ BAHLER ft. The Jane Doze

I love these girls. Earlier today, The Jane Doze posted about this team up with another mix artist, DJ BAHLE, and I had to check it out. After I pressed play, I was treated to this gorgeous track. They take Britney Spears and Taylor Swift, and mix their soft vocals perfectly with a Skrillex track. No, it's not crazy dub Skrillex like you might be used to, it's the soft portion of breath. Overall, a fantastic track that is just straight enjoyable to listen to. Definitely don't miss this one.

Light Up - Goone

My man Goone once again blesses us with a fantastic track. This time, he once again changes his style up a bit,  shows off his amazing cadence, and also how smooth his vocals can be. In case you couldn't guess, Light Up is another drop off his upcoming tape, Halfway to Nowhere, which from the sounds of all these tracks, is going to be a real showcase of Goone's talents as an artist. Watch out for more to come. Enjoy.

Time Of My Life (Tagged) - Huey Mack

So the king of tags, Dj Whoo Kid, is teaming up with Mr Peter Parker for an upcoming mixtape entitled Frat Rap. This joint is a leak off that mixtape, from the one and only, Huey Mack. Now, this isn't Huey's normal sound to be honest. The beat has a real club feel to it, and then Huey jumps on for a quick couple verses in the middle. I am a big fan of Huey Mack, but I really don't think this track showcases his talents. It is hella catchy though, so ill give it that. Anyway, check it out, and enjoy it.

Know Her Name (Video) - Tarik

A great new video from Tarik. This is for his joint Know Her Name, off his latest mixtape T.R.I.G.S. which I am realizing as I post this, I never actually posted, so for that, I apologize. I remember downloading it, enjoying it a lot, but I guess I never wrote about how much I enjoy it. ANYWAY, onto what's important, this great new video from Tarik. In case you haven't been in the know, Tarik is a fantastic artist originaly from Brooklyn, NY. He has an amazing ability to tell a story while he flows, which is perfect if you ask me. So, enjoy the video, if you like the track cop it below, and since I never posted the tape, you can check that out below as well. Enjoy.

Young Superstars - Eddy B & Tim Gunter

With their first joint drop since Insomniac Dreams back in October, Eddy B & Tim Gunter show us that they are just as fantastic as ever. I'll start off with this amazing Tim G beat. I have put this one on repeat about 10 times in a row now, and the beat is still as addicting as the first time I heard it, so huge props to him there. Now Eddy B's flow is just so sick, and so fluid, proving again that he's a real big player in the game. A great new track that I know you'll enjoy.

Happy Ending (Video) - Mike Stud

Mike Stud's amazing track Happy Ending gets the perfect visual treatment that it deserves. In case you missed this gem, Happy Ending is a gorgeous track about how there aren't just happy endings. It was is honestly one of my favorite, and it's probably the most heart felt track from Stud. So when it got a video that tells these 3 stories perfectly, I was really happy. Anyways, this track is off Mike's mixtape A Toast To Tommy, which in case you missed it, is a must download. Enjoy the video.

Grey Skies - e-dubble

Wow. This is fantastic. Here's the latest from e-dubble, and to be honest, it's unreal. This joint in comparison to his previous drops, is a little bit slower, but it's just as dope. Grey Skies has a real heavy sound to it, and e-dub's flow and lyrical ability are just unreal as always. Yet again, proof why he is one of my favorite artists. Enjoy this one.

Maintaining (Mixtape) - Mazon

I would like to formally introduce you to Mazon, a great up and coming artist from Harrisburg, PA. His name might seem a bit familiar to you, because he was recently featured on a track off of Ground Up's latest mini-mixtape, Romantic Comedy. His flow is really smooth and thoughtful, his lyricism is fantastic, and plus,  he just sounds comfortable behind the mic, which is dope. Mazon has actually been in the game for a minute now (6 mixtapes released since 2006, including this one), so he has actually established a really sick sound. This wicked tape will definitely make me keep my eyes open for more from Mazon. Anyway, enjoy some of my favorites below, then go cop the whole tape.

Fine Linen - Mazon

The Secret - Mazon

Prince - Mazon

Skeleton EP - Terence Ryan

This is gorgeous. After releasing Starry Eye, Skeleton and Alan's Right, the bar was set pretty high for this EP, and let me tell you, Terence Ryan delivered. This entire EP is fantastic, and really shows us that Terence Ryan is a great artist and he's here to stay. In case you didn't check out his last tracks, Terence has a sound that is just so smooth. He raps, and he sings. Plus, he produces amazing tracks with an ability to sample is unmatched. Overall, Terence Ryan is an amazing artist who you should watch out for. Enjoy this one.

To The Fall (Bang Gang Remix) - Terence Ryan

Vocal Layout Idea - Terence Ryan

Zeo - Terence Ryan

Download: Skeleton EP

Set Fire (3LAU Bootleg) - 3LAU

Why is 3LAU so good? He dropped this gem under the radar on Friday, so I am just hearing it now. Let me tell you, this is not one to miss out on. I know what your thinking, Adele has been used so much in mash tracks, but honestly, 3LAU gives her vocals such a gorgeous spin with his amazing beat. This is a fantastic track (once again) from 3LAU that you should definitely not sleep on. And if you don't know his name yet, you should get familiar, because 3LAU is on track to be huge. Enjoy this one.

The Great Escape (Rupert Holmes Remix) - Hendersin

As always, my man Hendersin drops a fantastic track. This is a real catchy joint where he spits over a remixed Rupert Holmes' "Escape", or what you probably know it by, "The Pina Colada Song". He does an amazing job on this one, but that's really no surprise. Hendersin actually dropped this one (once again) as a celebration, this time for 800 twitter followers. So enjoy it, and if you haven't already, you should definitely get familiar with Hendersin.

Somebody Freestyle - Upper West

Now, I usually don't post these short tracks, but I feel like this one deserves a post. Upper West dropped this little freestyle, and to be honest, it really is fantastic. They said that it was "the most heartfelt song they have ever written" and you can tell, because it came out gorgeously. At just under 2 minutes, it does leave me wanting a bit more, but it's non stop lyrical flow, so it feels like it's a lot longer than it actually is (in a good way). I've said it before, but Upper West are some guys to seriously watch out for, because they are so consistently great. Anyway, enjoy the new track.

Mundo - DOSVEC

I am so glad my man Ethan showed me DOSVEC, because if he hadn't, I would have never heard amazing mash tracks like this. This is an wicked mash of some vocals from Chris Brown, Pitbull, Ne-Yo and Nervo, over the extremely catchy beat from Archie V's "Our World". This is another dope track you can add to the rager playlist. Enjoy it.

Excellente (Freestyle) - SonReal

The latest in a string of drops from SonReal. This one is a dope freestyle the really shows off SonReal's amazing flow. From what I hear, he's actually planning on dropping yet another track next week, which is dope. SonReal is on a huge roll with all these tracks, so props to him there. Enjoy it.

Young Sinatra III - Logic

Logic is honestly unreal. This kid can spit with the best of em. Logic has an amazing lyrical skill, his flow is flawless, and his tracks are always fantastic. His tape Young Sinatra was probably one of my favorite from 2011, and that's saying something. Anyway, this track really showcases all of Logic's skills as an artist, so enjoy it.

Ass Back Home (Brenton Duvall Remix) - Gym Class Heroes ft. Neon Hitch

I know what your saying, but this isn't just another random Ass Back Home remix. This is a whole new, gorgeous spin on this fantastic track, from none other than Brenton Duvall. He really takes this track, and gives it completely different, more mellow feel, and it comes off perfectly. Probably my favorite remix that I have heard, and yes, I have heard A LOT of them. Anyway, enjoy this one.

You Don't Know (For F*ck's Sake) - Yelawolf & Ed Sheeran

This is dope. Now, don't expect the normal Yela, because to be honest this track is a little commercialized for him. Don't get me wrong, because I still think this track is still extremely sick, it's just more mellow than what you're probably used to hearing from him. Anyway, this is a great joint from Yelawolf and Ed Sheeran, and I know you'll enjoy it.

It's Going Down - Big Gigantic

A little dub for you now. Now, the way I actually heard this track is from a post that Jay Fresh threw up on his FB page. I could pretend I know exactly who Big Gigantic is, but I'm really not up on my dub artists (yes, a shame, I know), so I really don't know this guy(s). I don't even know if this track is old or new. All I know is that it is probably the best dubstep / electronic track I have heard in a long time. This is one, without doubt, that you should be adding to your rager list. Enjoy it.

The Rematch (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

I'm just going to say it, Sunday was probably the best football that I have ever seen played, so it's completely appropriate the theme of this week. They're back, and once again Timeflies takes an NFL theme and kill it. Amazing flow from Cal as always as he spits about the upcoming Superbowl rematch, and Rob creates his usual fantastic beat. Really, I think everyone should know Timeflies by now, so check it out. And if you need any more motivation, the hook is Queen. Enjoy.

Driving 88 (Mixtape) - Rockie Fresh

Now this is hot. I'll be honest, I wasn't even going to download this when I first saw it. Not that Rockie Fresh is bad, because he's the furthest thing from it, but just because I heard a track that I really didn't enjoy that much off of it, and it kind of jaded me. I am so glad that I actually checked this one out, because Driving 88 is a fantastic project from Rockie. I literally sat and listened to this thing end to end in one go. That's how dope this tape is. Rockie Fresh has a flow that is just so chill, and just really enjoyable to listen to. Anyway, I'll let you make your own opinions, but I'm gonna guess that you'll probably enjoy this one.

So Long - Rockie Fresh

Where I Wanna Be - Rockie Fresh ft. Phil Ade

Into The Future - Rockie Fresh

You A Lie - Rockie Fresh

Rumors - Riley

You should now all know who my man Riley is by now, and if you still don't you should check out the interview I did with him. Anyway, here is the first drop off his upcoming RUINS EP. He jumps on Adele's track Rumor Has It and gives it a whole new spin. A dope track from a dope artist. Keep your eyes out for more to come from Riley. Enjoy.

Rap Guys (Don't Trip) - Kam Royal

This is hot. Kam Royal drops his first official track off his upcoming project, Quit Your Day Job, and it's a sick one. I have a lot of respect for Kam, because he is honestly one of the realest in the game right now. Plus for these visuals, he grabs the same director that did the video for Brainwash, which was sick, so your in for a visual treat. Enjoy it.

9 to 5 - Goone ft. Mike Stud

The latest drop off Goone's upcoming project, Halfway To Nowhere, is tough. Goone flexes like crazy on this one, and shows off his wicked flow. Now, I'll be honest, when I first pressed play, I was kind of hesitant because it sounded a little odd right off the bat, but after a few seconds, I found myself bobbing my head along with the beat, and hanging on every line Goone spit. That right there makes a dope track in my mind. When you get an actual reaction out of the listener with your song, your doing something right, so keep it up Goone. Anyway, this is another look into Halfway To Nowhere (which I think is going to be unreal), and there is still more to come before the release, so get pumped. Plus, Mike Stud kills his verse, so enjoy it.

Light Work (Mixtape) - Price

Now I'll be honest, I really don't know too much about this guy other than he's an up and coming artist out Toronto, Ontario. The way I actually heard of Price was actually through a random-ass tweet from some random-ass person. Now, being dedicated to music like I am, I generally give these joints the benefit of a doubt. So if it's a youtube video or a streaming link to a track, most of the time, I'll give it a quick skim through to see if it hooks me. If it does, then I usually give it a go. This is one of those few times. Price has a real raw sound, and a flow that is tough. He definitely sounds like he could go places. Plus, he's Canadian, so I have to hold it down for my fellow Canadians. Check this one out, and enjoy it.

Epic - Price ft. Sir Gabe

Everywhere We Go - Price

No Doubt - Price

Midnight City - Yonas

Alright, I'll just say it, when I first pressed play and I heard the sample he used, I almost skipped right over it. It's not Yonas' fault, it's just this M83 track has been overused lately. But, I am extremely glad that I continued listening, because Yonas really is a fantastic artist, and he takes this song that has been used 1000 times, and really gives it a whole new feel. Plus as always, Yonas shows off his amazing lyrical skills. Sometimes I wonder why he doesn't get more hype than he gets now. Anyway, enjoy the great new track.

#myway - Dante CK

This is hot. This is actually the first track that I have heard from just Dante CK. The first time I had heard of him  was on the track with Leia Sadiku, Strange Ways back in December. I'm glad that I came across him, because this is a fantastic track, and I would have missed out on it otherwise. Dante is an up and coming artist out of Greensboro NC who has a real smooth sound, and fantastic lyrical ability. He is definitely one I will be on the watch for. Enjoy this one.

Keep Your Friends Close (Mixtape) - Dylan Owen

The day is finally here. Dylan Owen drops his HIGHLY anticipated mixtape, Keep Your Friends Close, and let me tell you, it lives up to all the expectations. I have said it before, but I'll say it again: there were a lot of eyes watching this mixtape. Over the last few months, Dylan Owen has gained a lot of attention around the net. Ever since I posted his first track (for me at least), Book Report, back in April, and also with the interview I did with him, I've been keeping a close eye on him. Dylan has such an original sound, his story telling abilities are probably the best I have heard in a long time, and his flow is just smooth and just enjoyable to listen to. KYFC is really a showcase of all of Dylan's talents as an artist. The tracks are all catchy, all filled with gorgeous stories, and they really are just all fantastic. Definitely not a tape to sleep on, so check it out, and enjoy it.

HotLeaks Exclusive: Introduction + Interview with Riley

I have featured Riley countless times here on HotLeaks, so you should already know his name, but I figured I would give you guys a formal introduction. He is a fantastic artist out of The Bronx in NY, and has been making music for over 7 years. As Riley puts it, "Growing up in The Bronx, you either freestyled or you danced". He initially started the freestyling as more of a joke than anything, creating a "diss" track with some friends aimed towards some other rappers from their neighborhood. Clearly something hooked him, because Riley began to realize that he really enjoyed making music.

Speaking of beginnings, here is the first track I ever heard from Riley, and the one that got me hooked:
Nobodys Perfect - Riley

Killin It - Krewella

Here's a dope banger for your Sunday. Some brand new Krewella for your listening pleasure. In case you don't know them, Krewella is an electro trio out of Chicago. I really don't want to try and explain this track, because any explanations I give won't do the track justice. All I'll say that this is a perfect track for any rager playlist. Enjoy.

Friday, January 20, 2012

Bubble - M.i ft. Scienze

With the latest drop off his upcoming project, The Coldplay Sessions, M.i gives us another reason why it's going to be unreal. This is his second single from The Coldplay Sessions, the first being Crawl Back. He has such a smooth flow, and he also has the ability to produce gorgeous tracks. This just shows that M.i is just an all around fantastic artist, so if you don't know him, you should get familiar. Enjoy the great new track.

Alan's Right (Video) - Terence Ryan

Terence Ryan dropped a gorgeous track a couple day ago, and just today, he decided to drop some amazing visuals to accompany it. I would just like to say that this is probably one of the best shot videos I have seen in a while, so huge shout out for that. Enjoy it, and get excited for the Skeleton EP.

Best Night Ever - APsuperProducer ft. r.O.b & Dean & Ravo

Now, I'll be straight with you, I have no idea who some of these guys are, but when I saw that Dean & Ravo were on for a feature, I had to check it out. On first skim through, I was a little hesitant, but I then gave it a full listen, and I started to enjoy it. It's got a little bit of a pop-y feel to it, but it is definitely a track you'll find yourself bobbing your head to. Here's to the best night ever, Friday. Enjoy it.

Put In Work - Cris Cab ft. Wyclef Jean

This track is really cool. Cris Cab has clearly been putting in the work (HA! see the joke I made?), because he's doing tracks with the great Wyclef Jean. That's huge. Anyway, I really don't want to explain this one, because I'm pretty sure from the team up, you can guess exactly how it sounds. This gem is off his upcoming project Echo Boom, which I will definitely be watching out for. Enjoy this.

Thursday, January 19, 2012

One Time - Cam Meekins

It's been a minute since we've heard from Cam Meekins, but from the sounds of it, I think he's working on something big. He dropped this gem saying that it wasn't on any upcoming project and then simply thanking the fans for being patient with him. I'll be straight, it's not a track that you'll be singing along to, but it is a track the showcases Cam's lyrical ability. Sometimes I forget how dope this kid can spit. Anyway, enjoy the new track.

This Is Why I'm Hot (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

I'm a day late, but here is the latest Timeflies Tuesday. Once again, Cal reigns supreme as a freestyle king, but I think the real show with this #TT is Rob's beat. So the guys decided to rap about and film part of their freestyle at the gym, so what does Rob do? He samples the weights. Yeah, that's right, and he does an amazing job. Anyway, enjoy it.

Sirens - Skizzy Mars

Now that is what I am talking about. I'll be straight with you, the last few tracks from Skizzy Mars haven't been his best in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, they were still great, just not up to the level Douchebag or Profound was at. Like I said, don't take that the wrong way, because Skizzy is still killing it, and his latest track proves that. Sirens is a sick new track with Skizzy's signature sound all over it. This is not one to miss. Enjoy it.

Oscar Grant (Video) - (I Am) James Wade

My man James Wade dropped some fantastic visuals for his even more fantastic track Oscar Grant, off his latest mixtape, The Ugly Show. This is a heavy track with a great message, and now it's got a heavy video to go with it, which is dope. In case you haven't been checking him out, you should definitely get familiar. He's got a tough, original sound, and his lyricism is fantastic. Anyway, enjoy the new visuals, and if you want the track, go grab the whole tape, or cop it below.

Olde English - Uno Hype ft. Hassani Kwess

Brand new Hype here. A great friend to HotLeaks drops an ill new track and video. This is actually the first official drop off Uno Hype's upcoming collab EP with DJ Black Diamond, F*ck The Hype, which is dropping in the next few weeks. Uno Hype once again shows off his dope flow, but then he grabs a fresh face (to me at least) Hassani Kwess for a verse, and he actually kills it too. Dope track and dope video, and my hopes are high for F*ck The Hype, so be on the watch.

Wednesday, January 18, 2012

Alan's Right - Terence Ryan

Back with yet another fantastic drop off his upcoming Skeleton EP. This EP from Terence Ryan is sounding like it's going to unreal, so my hopes are pretty high. Terence Ryan has a great flow, but his ability to create an entire track is fantastic, so props to him there. Definitely be on the watch for The Skeleton EP, and enjoy the new track.

Friday Night (Video) - Jitta On The Track

Jitta hits us with a new video for one of my favorite tracks off his mixtape, Be Right Back. Technically it was just a bonus track, but it is fantastic regardless. Anyway, this video captures the feel of the track perfectly. The track is laid back, but all about the party, and just having a good time on Friday night. Plus it reminds me of what me and my friends used to do. Grab a bunch of beer, head out to the woods, make a wicked bonfire and then just have a great time. Anyway, enjoy the great new video from Jitta On The Track.

Burn This Whole Place Down - Dylan Owen

Dylan Owen is back again, and once again he hits us with a dope track off his up coming EP, Keep Your Friends Close. I have high hopes for this mixtape because Dylan has gained some serious hype over the last few months. I have seen his name all around the web, and he has been getting a lot of exposure, so I think a lot of people are going to be checking this EP out. I know it's going to be dope though, because these last couple drops have been fantastic. Plus, Dylan has some serious skills as an artist, so he's going to kill it. Anyway, enjoy the new track, and watch for Keep Your Friends Close.

Pretend - Hendersin

Once again, Hendersin proves why he is one of my favorite artists on the come up right now. I say this every time, but he is just so consistently good. I think I am such a big fan because he has an original sound (which you should all know by now, I dig), but when he decides the change the type of track he's on, he does it seamlessly.  Now, time for a little unpaid promotion. Hendersin dropped this track when he hit 3000 fans on facebook. He actually plans on dropping a new track every time he gets another 1000 fans or 100 twitter followers until his tape drops in march, so you should definitely go like and follow. Enjoy the new track.

One 2 (Video) - Gate City

One of my favorite GCS tracks of the last little bit gets a fantastic, simple visual treatment. The entire video was shot and produced by Gate City Studios, for a track written and produced by themselves as well. These guys really are the whole package. They have amazing flow, their singing is fantastic, they produce unmatched beats, and they shoot great videos. Anyway, enough of me rambling, the point of this post is to show you the great new visuals for One 2, so enjoy them.

Need Your Love - Sol ft. Ray Dalton

This album is going to be fantastic. Sol drops another gem off his upcoming project Yours Truly, which from the sound of all these drops, is going to be unreal. This one was actually the first track written by Sol for Yours Truly, and it's all about falling in love for the first time. Gorgeous track from a fantastic artist. Watch out for Yours Truly dropping Friday. Enjoy.

Denim Cashmere (Video) - Tru Fam

Some fresh visuals from the boys in Tru Fam. This joint is for their track Denim Cashmere, off their latest EP Bowties & Applause. A simple video, but it fits the tracks perfectly. The track is classy, fast and tough, all at the same time, and the video is just that. The more I hear from Tu Fam, the more I like them. Enjoy this one.

Not The One - Nate Cabral

Now time for a fresh face to HotLeaks, Nate Cabral. He is an up and coming artist out of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and has been in the music game for just about a year. This 17 year old kid has a little bit of a raw sound, but I can hear some serious potential with him. His sound reminds me a bit of Loggy mixed with some Huey Mack. Plus, he's got that acoustic vibe which I dig, so that's dope. I will definitely be on the watch for more from this kid, but you can just enjoy this track for now.

Bomb - SonReal

My man SonReal is killing it lately. Still hot from the last drop (Sweet) a week ago, he decided to give us another great track. I love the way SonReal raps. He has a real smooth flow, but then he can transition seamlessly into quick rhyming. Plus he also has impeccable cadence, which is dope. Anyway, enough of me raving about him because you can check him out yourself. Enjoy this.

Narcissist (Video) - Goone

Wow, it's been a minute since we have heard from Goone, but from what he tells me, it's going to be well worth the wait. Goone has plans to drop a total of 4 videos and an album in the next 6 weeks, which is huge. His album Halfway To Nowhere will be dropping mid February, and I am extremely pumped to hear it. This is his first drop, of many to come, and let me tell you, it's a hell of a way to come back into the game. This track is  a gorgeous personal look into Goone. His flow is fantastic, his lyricism is unreal, and overall this track is just straight enjoyable to listen to. A home run from him in my opinion. I look forward to more from Goone coming soon. Enjoy this one.

Ass Back Home (Sex Ray Vision Remix) - Gym Class Heroes

I love this track. I loved the original song from Gym Class Heroes & Neon Hitch, so when I saw that that SRV remixed it, I had to have it. They manage to maintain the original feel, but still add a whole new flavor to it. They  add a little bit more pound, and change the beat to more of a dance club feel, and it comes out fantastic. I know you'll enjoy this one.

Talk That Talk - Bailee Moore ft. Erik Paul

Now don't judge this one before you give it a listen. Bailee Moore is a hip hop artist who is making some serious waves around the web. She initially dropped a video where she spit straight fire that got some hype around the net, and even got a spot on BroBible and Barstool Sports, which is pretty huge if you ask me. I actually first heard about her from Erik Paul, and since I am a fan of him, I figured I should probably check her out. Now I will tell you, I was blown away by Bailee Moore. She can flow so fast, and so fluidly. I actually have high hopes for her, so be on the watch for more. Enjoy this one.

Trash Musik III (Mixtape) - Miracle

This is sick. I have been waiting anxiously for Miracle's mixtape to finally drop, and the day is here. It actually dropped a couple days ago, but I just got a chance to sit down and give it a listen today, and let me say, it lived up to my high expectations. Trash Musik III is packed with non stop dopeness. It has a couple remixes of popular tracks like Levels and Childish Gambino's Bonfire. It has a few tracks that are a bit more pop influenced. It also has some real tough hip hop tracks, and then some smooth tracks to go along with them. So what I am getting at is that this tape is diverse, and Miracle manages to pull it off perfectly. Once again I will say that I think Miracle should get more exposure over here in North America, because he's so talented. Anyway, here are a couple of my favorites, then go cop the whole tape.

Change The World - Miracle ft. Lazy J

We On - Miracle ft. Young Men Society

That's Enough - PJ Simas

A new, completely original track from the talented PJ Simas. What I am actually just finding out is that PJ is going to be dropping a new track every Sunday until his album drops in the spring. All I can say is that this winter is going to be fantastic if I get a new PJ Simas track every week. Enjoy the new track, because I know I did, and then be on the watch for another one next Sunday.

New Theory - Olu ft. Washed Out

With another great drop from his upcoming project Cover Letters, Olu gives us this gem of a track. I am extremely excited for Cover Letters, and since his last tape P3 was unreal, I have high hopes for this one. One reason why I am such a huge fan of Olu is his ability to not only spit fire while telling a great story, but he makes all his own beats as well. Those three things right there are what make a great artist to me. ANYWAY, enjoy the new ish.

Two Ways - PropaneLV ft. Siah S

The more I hear from PropaneLV, the more I am becoming a fan. His sound, I said it before, but it reminds be a bit of Cole, which is pretty ridiculous if you ask me. Anyway, in case you don't know the name, PropaneLV is an up and coming artist out of Portland, OR. He has a sound that's frosty, and a flow that is tight, and overall, his sound is pretty dope. This is one joint that you should not miss out on. Plus, Siah S on the hook is extremely catchy, so enjoy.

Slow Down (Video) - Upper West

I am such a big fan of Upper West. They just dropped some brand new visuals for their fantastic track, Slow Down. To be honest, there isn't anything crazy about this, it's just a simple, really well shot music video (shouts to Jon Kilmer Studios for that). A great video, for a great track, so enjoy it.

Maybe I'm Different - Erik Paul ft. CG

Here's some fresh new Erik Paul for you, and to no one's surprise, it's dope. This is actually his first official drop off his upcoming mixtape, EPic (dropping February 11th), which if this track says anything, is going to be wicked. I have a lot of respect for Erik Paul, because he gets heat, but he keeps on pushing out consistently fantastic material. He has also dipped his fingers into a completely different genre, and still sounded great. That right there is the sign of a great artist. I am a huge fan of Erik Paul, and will continue to be. So, enjoy the new track with a great feature from the talented CG.

Just For Me - Dave Patten

Mr. Dave Patten is back. I would just like to say that he has an extremely enjoyable sound. His vocals, paired with great acoustic melodies, always ends up sounding fantastic. Just check this one out, and I know it is perfect for you Sunday night adventures. Enjoy.

Or Download via iTunes

Clutch (Video) - Ground Up

Ground up drops some more visuals to keep us held over until The Get Up (dropping 3.6.12). Let me tell you, this is probably the most original and coolest video I have seen in a while. It's pretty much a guy, his magic boombox, and a magical break dancing kid, both of which have the power to solve problems. Yes, I know that sounds extremely odd when I explain it, but it's definitely an enjoyable watch. Plus, the track is dope, so enjoy it.

Stuntin' - JayR

Now, I'm going to be honest, I have no idea how I heard of JayR. From what I can gather, he's a great artist out of Killingly, CT, and he has a real dope heavy sound for just being 17. Now time to talk about this track. It starts off with an intense movie orchestra melody that had me hooked right away. After that, JayR spits straight fire from beginning to end. I will definitely be on the watch for more from JayR. Enjoy this one.

Squarian Anthem - XV ft. Sez Batters

Vizzy is unreal. Once again, he drops a fantastic track, and this time he grabs the talented Sex Batters for a feature. I feel like I don't really need to explain this one, because you should all know XV by now, and you should know that your going to get a great track. I will say that this is one of my more favorite tracks that he has dropped over the last little while, so definitely check this out. Enjoy.

LightYears The Mixtape - Johnny Astro

I don't know what it is about Johnny Astro, but I am huge fan of his sound. In case you don't know his name, Johnny Astro is a great artist out of Arlington TX,  who I have been a fan of for a while now. I have dropped a couple of his tracks on the site before (Someday and All Yours), and they both got great feedback, so I figured it was only fair that I shared his great new project, LightYears The Mixtape. This is his first official mixtape, and it has been almost 2 years in the making, so it really is a labor of love. Johnny Astro has a sound that is a little different from everyone else, which if you visit the site at all, you know I dig. He is smooth, his lyrical skills are fantastic, and he's just overall enjoyable to listen to. This is definitely a really cool mixtape that is a must download. Plus, for a couple of the tracks he samples artists like Civile Twilight and Coldplay, AND he also samples some quotes from Men In Black and Wedding Crashers, which is dope if you ask me. Enjoy it.

Just The Player's Anthem - DJ 21azy

It's been a minute since we've heard from DJ 21azy, but here's a dope one for you. He took a beat dropped by Jon Kilmer and then threw down some Biggie Smalls, UGK and Outkast on top of it. Overall, it sounds pretty sick, and makes me want more from 21azy, so I'll be on the watch. Enjoy this one.

The Vestibule (Mixtape) - OCD: Moosh & Twist

These kids are unreal. The first I heard of this tape was when they dropped their video yesterday for Hold It Down, and since then, I have been waiting anxiously. The Vestibule didn't let me down, because it's filled with dope tracks, and by filled, I mean all 6 are great. If you don't know these kids yet, you should by now, because they are pumping out non stop dopness. Enjoy a few of my favs, then cop the whole tape.

Crew Love - D. Worthy

In case you don't remember his name, D. Worthy is a great new artist out of Cleveland ,Ohio, who dropped a dope mixtape, Patience Is A Virtue, back in November. I said then that I would be on the watch for anything new, because I could hear something big with this kid. I knew he would start doing things. A couple days ago he jumped on Drake's Crew Love beat, and to be honest, D.Worthy absolutely killed it. His flow is tight, and his lyricism is fantastic. D.Worthy is one to watch. Enjoy it.

Shit I Know - Tayyib Ali ft. Rockie Fresh

Some fresh new Tayyib for you. I'll be straight, this isn't your normal Tayyib Ali that you might be used to hearing. He's usually got a laid back, feel good vibe, but this time he jumps on a tougher, more heavy hitting beat, and spits straight fire. This is one you'll want to blast in the car, because it's got that wicked bass hit. Plus, the more I hear from Rockie Fresh, the more I'm starting to dig his sound. His verse on this track is dope. Enjoy it.

Time Of Your Life - Kid Ink ft. Ned Cameron

I always forget how much I enjoy Kid Ink. I have no idea why he drops off my radar all the time because he's always dropping dope tracks, and this is one of them. This version is a little bit tagged up right now, but it's just at the beginning and then a tiny one on the track, so it's nothing annoying at all. I know you'll enjoy this one.
