Confident (Video) - Justin Bieber ft. Chance The Rapper

With all the shit that's surrounding Bieber right now, you still can't deny the fact that the boy can make a catchy track. And even if you're not a fan, the quick verse from Chance is bound to get you going. Enjoy the visuals.

Finally (Jay Cosmic Remix) - Mikkas & Amba Shepherd

Alright, so I think I've officially become a Jay Cosmic fan. When I heard his Tsunami remix a couple weeks ago, I was impressed, but I really needed to hear more to give a final verdict. Now even though this is only his second remix that I've had the pleasure of listening to, I feel like I can say that I've reached that verdict. Jay Cosmic is one hell of a producer. Hopefully you'll enjoy this one as much as I did.

Big Pimpin - June ft. Big K.R.I.T

So earlier today I had my entire music library on shuffle, and the track All Year by June popped up and I thought to myself, "Hey, I wonder what June is up to these days". Well it just so happens that the day I decide to check out what an artist is up to, is the same day that he releases a brand new track (with a feature Big KRIT too!). Check it out below.

1/2 Amazing (Video) - Dizzy X

It's been a little while since I've posted anything from Dizzy X, which is a shame, because as he shows us once again in his newest track, he's got a lot of potential. I've said it before, but his flow and sound reminds me of ANTHM crossed with Jitta On The Track, and then add a tiny splash of Kendrick. Definitely watch out for this kid. Enjoy.

Revenge Of The Dreamers (EP) - J. Cole

Happy birthday Jermaine Cole! In case you didn't know, today is Cole's birthday, and in celebration, he decided to release a project that features series of unreleased tracks from him, Bas, Omen and KQuick. Nothing wrong with that in my books, so check it out below.

Brighter - The Two Friends ft. Jeff Sontag & I Am Lightyear

These guys really have evolved into something that is truly marvelous. The Two Friends started as mashup/bootleg duo over 2 years ago, and since then they've become something that is just so much more. Simply put, they can a create a gorgeous track and then proceed to weave magic into it from start to finish. If you don't believe me, or if for some reason you have been behind on these guys, you need to check out the track below. Enjoy.

Pure (Video) - Radical Something

Can you feel that? That amazing feeling that summer is slowly approaching? I know it doesn't seem that way, but this new video from Radical Something is guaranteed to give you that tingling feeling that you only get when summer is on it's way. Don't let yourself miss out.

Run Away - Fareoh

This is really spectacular. Fareoh has created an absolutely enchanting track that you can't help but instantly fall in love with. Seriously, every second of this one is pure magic. Press play below and make your own opinions, but I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed in the least.

Sunrise - Hona Costello

I told you that I would be on the lookout for more from Hona Costello, so here's his latest drop. It's actually his final one before he releases his debut album #Penelope this summer, so you should definitely check it out. Enjoy.

Ain't A Party - TeeJay

Guest Post:
"If you're into the semi-recent electronic takeover, or you just like upbeat pop-ish music with a club beat, this track is for you. The TeeJay Bootleg of Aint A Party from the ever-impressive David Guetta is a can't miss track of 2013 that is still widely underrated, give it a listen, you won't be sorry
- Chase

One Long Day (Mixtape) - SonReal

It's been a while since I've posted anything from SonReal, and to be honest, I'm not really sure why that's the case. Well regardless why, here is his latest project. One Long Day is a great showcase of how far SonReal has come as an artist. Since first popping up on my radar over 3 years ago, he's gone through a lot of growth, and you really can hear that maturity on this tape. His flow has become truly refined, and although they were always heart-felt, his lyrics have become much more impressive and personal. A great project that you should check out. Enjoy.

Ocean Avenue (Kasum Remix) - Yellowcard

Every single time. That's how often Kasum kills it. For this newest remix, he's taken on another staple in my youth, Yellowcard's Ocean Avenue, and turned it into something fresh and exciting, while still preserving it's original sound. Yer another unreal remix that you need to add to your collection.

Sweatpants (Community Video) - Childish Gambino

This is far from official, but it is amazing so that's why I'm sharing it. Next Thursday is Donald Glover's last episode of Community, and so an internet user decided to take it upon themselves and create a video for Bino's track Sweatpants, off Because The Internet, using a series of clips from the show. Well every lyric in the track is matched up perfectly with a scene, and it is just absolutely entertaining. Press play and enjoy.

Last Night ft. KYLE & Devon / Sleepless ft. NYLO / Tumblr Girls ft. Christoph Andersson - G-Eazy

Wow. Just wow. G-Eazy has started 2014 with a bang. The first gem was his Been On Remix with Rockie Fresh & Tory Lanez last week, and now he's decided to hit us with 3 (Yes, THREE) new tracks. The first one is a collab with KYLE and Devon and it's a smooth track that is just a pleasure to listen to. Check it below.

Not only does the next track actually feature some production from Blackbear, which is evident right away, but then G also grabs NYLO for some truly sultry vocals that really compliment his flow perfectly.

The final G-Eazy track of the evening is another gorgeous addition to the string of fantastic collabs with Christoph Andersson. If that name doesn't seem familiar, you need to finish downloading these three tracks and then go cop the entire Must Be Twice collaboration EP. Enjoy it.

Burn - Trey Palms

Another artist who we haven't heard from in a while. Trey Palms was somewhat sidelined for the last 6 months due to unforeseen circumstances, but he's now back at it, and he brings that fire that made us fall in love with his sound to begin with. Trey takes on my girl Ellie's track, and he actually manages to hold his own quite well. His flow's got that now classic Trey snap, and his rhymes are as tight as ever. Enjoy this one.

Broken People - Luke Christopher

Always impressive. That's really the best way to describe Luke Christopher. For his latest release he takes some heavy lyrical content about the demise of a relationship, and laces it with a soft and cheery beat to create a gorgeous track of contrast. Not a track you'll want to miss.

My Light - Mike Posner

It's been a minute since we've heard some new ish from Mike Posner, but every time he releases a new one, it feels like he's never even been gone. I'm a big fan of Posner, not only because he's got a great sound, but because he understands how to do the music game. He's a big name artist who's had plenty of songs all over the radio, as well as tours worldwide, but he still consistently releases free music for his fans. Other artists, take note. Anyway, enjoy the latest.

Somebody Loves You - The Jane Doze

These girls know exactly how to make hump day bearable. Once again, The Jane Doze have put together a mash that is a perfect pick me up. They've taken Betty Who's Somebody Loves You, and mashed it with Audien's Wayfarer, and as expected, pure gold has been created. Press play below and see what I'm talking about.

No Competition - Talib Kweli, Elzhi & Phonte

I feel like I don't really need to explain this one. Look at who's on the track. You know it's going to be real hip hop at its finest, so press play below.

Break The Bank - ScHoolboy Q

Oxymoron finally gets an official release date, some official artwork, AND a brand new single. Today was a good day. February 25th is the date, The standard version is on the left (ScHoolboy Q's daughter), the deluxe version is on the right, and you can press play below.

Journals of Relief (Video) - Mike Stud

Now this is actually pretty good. Mike Stud takes 2 of his own tracks, and blends them together with 2 of Bieber's tracks, and it actually turned out quite enjoyable. Stud's Lets Just Go gets mashed with Oh No which are then twisted with Biebs' Confident and All That Matters. Enjoy this one.

Blow Out - Juicy J

Juicy J is back, and he's brought with him the first single off his upcoming album, which was just announced a couple weeks back. This is the kind of track that's bound to get you hype, so check it below.

Moondust (Sound Remedy Remix) - Jaymes Young

Aright, I know it's Tuesday, but I didn't actually post anything yesterday, so I think I can get away with saying that this new remix from Sound Remedy is the perfect track to start your week off. The combination of slow melodic buildups, hypnotic vocals and high energy electro hook is just too good. Do yourself a solid and press play on this one.

Man Of The Year (Video) - ScHoolboy Q

ScHoolboy Q definitely didn't hate doing this video. Partying around a tropical paradise with a slew of beautiful women. 2014 is going to be a huge year for ScHoolboy, especially with Oxymoron finally dropping, so watch out. Enjoy.

Willie Bandana - Pries

A track to get your Friday night going. Pries releases his first track of 2014, and just like most of his tracks, it's catchy as hell. Check it.

The Worst Guys (Video) - Childish Gambino

Fantastic. In case you didn't know, when Bino released Because The Internet, he also released a screenplay to go along with it (fantastic read in case you haven't checked it out yet), and throughout the screenplay, each song off the album matched up with a scene. Well there was a scene early on, and this video is pretty much the visualization of what's written. But the odd thing is that the song matched with this surf scene in the screenplay isn't actually The Worst Guys. Anyway, this is getting kind of meta, so I'll just let you check out the visuals. And if you needed any more reason to check it out, it was actually directed by Carl from Workaholics (Kyle Newacheck). Enjoy.

Pumpin Blood (The Chainsmokers Remix) - NONONO

The Chainsmokers are always so great. I really don't think that they've ever put together a bad track. This latest is no exception. And to make it even better, it's an official remix. Don't be one to miss out on it.

Don't Shine (Video) - Raz Simone

Welcome back Raz Simone. It's been a while since we've heard from him, but it's for a completely valid reason. Early 2013, Raz got hit with a bogus gun charge while on his way home from a NY show. For the rest of the year, he was dealing with all the repercussions of that, so he wasn't really able to put much effort into his music. That being said, the charges have finally been dropped, and Mr. Simone is back at it, and proving to us all once again that he really is someone you should pay attention to. His raspy flow is simply amazing, and his lyrical content is always filled with pure and raw emotion. Well I have a feeling 2014 is going to be a big year for Raz, especially with his upcoming project, Cognitive Dissonance: Part One, so be on the lookout for more. Until then, enjoy this one.

Been On (Remix) - G-Eazy ft. Rockie Fresh & Tory Lanez

Easily one of my favorite tracks of 2013 gets an official remix, and it is absolutely sick. Not only does G-Eazy grab the great Rockie Fresh and Tory Lanez for some fresh verses, he also spits some new bars himself. Plus as an added bonus to the remix, he also twists the beat on the hook ever so slightly to make it sound fresh, while still keeping that original sound. Impeccable remix, that's all that I have to say.

Say Something (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

I can't stop listening to this. Timeflies has taken an R&B approach to their Timeflies Tuesday release this week, and it is just spectacular. Just press play and hear it for yourself.

All The Time - Jigz The Flyer

Mr. Jiggy Hendrix has done it once again. He's created a track that is both impressive and enjoyable. Jigz has taken Jeremiah's All The Time, and has twisted it into something that's completely refreshing. Dope beat, and tight flow. Not a track you should let yourself miss. Enjoy.

Don't We - Travis Porter ft. Future

This definitely isn't deep or lyrical hip hop, but then again really would you expect that from Travis Porter and Future? Some straight ignorant banger rap, but it's catchy as hell. Check it.

War Wounds (Video) - Ace Cosgrove

Spotted this one when it first dropped over the weekend, but never got the chance to give it a good listen. Now that I have, I can officially say I'm an Ace Cosgrove fan. First heard about him when he was on a track with Uno Hype back in October, so honestly it's been so long that I almost didn't recognize the name when it popped up on my timeline. Anyway, do yourself a favor and press play on this one, because I can guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

This Is Murder, Not Music (Remix) - Young Buck

G-Unit revival?! I wish. but right now, this is the closest we'll get. Young Buck jumps in and gives another track his remix touch, and this time it's 50's latest. Enjoy it.

Stay The Night (No Pets Allowed Remix) - Zedd ft. Hayley Williams

Lets be honest here, who doesn't already love the original version of this track. But the question was, how do you make it even better? Well No Pets Allowed has done just that. He's taken up the energy and created a remix that is beyond enjoyable. A great track that you won't want to miss out on.

Hear My Voice - Knight & Grae

You may not recognize the name, but you'll definitely recognize the voice the second you press play. Knight & Grae is duo consisting of soul artist Nina Grae and the instantly recognizable Flipsyde's Steve Knight, and was born out of a simple jam session over the summer. That being said, and the fact that they haven't really done anything new in a long while, Flipsyde as you can probably guess is on the back burner right now. But something great has come of it, so I really can't complain that much. Anyway, do yourself a favor and check out this great track from Knight & Grae, and hopefully we'll hear more from them soon. Enjoy.

Nasty Girl (Electric Bodega Trap Remix) - Jim Jones ft. Jeremih & DJ SpinKing

Got sent this gem yesterday, just got a chance to give it a listen, and let me just day that I am in love. Electric Bodega, a DJ duo out of NYC, has taken the almost classic Jim Jones track Nasty Girl, and given it a whole new vibe that is perfect to get your weekend started a little bit early. Don't miss this one.

Castle Walls (Collin McLoughlin & Skrux Remix) - T.I ft. Christina Aguilera

An oldie but a goodie. T.I and Christina's track Castle Walls came out back at the end of 2010, and although it's a fantastic track, it never really got the commercial success that I think it should have. But that being said, Collin McLoughlin and Skrux decided to jump in and give it twist that's bound to turn some heads. A melodic dub/electro track that is bound to make you feel magical. Enjoy it.

Haunted Wonderland Mix - Matt Rage

Guest Post:
"Beautiful smash-up set by Matt Rage, can't believe I haven't been listening to this guy until now. Reminds of a mix of Kap Slap and the younger 3LAU, take Slapcast vol. 2/3 and mix it with Dance Floor Filth 1, what do you get? An amazing party set from Matt Rage"
- Chase

Everyday - ANTHM

In my opinion, ANTHM is exactly what hip hop needs. He's a real wordsmith, and his flow is just plain impeccable. I say it every time, but if somehow you're still sleeping, it's time to get familiar.

Fckinwitmycity - Pretty Boy Cuv

He's back at it again. Pretty Boy Cuv, my hometown hero is back again, and just as expected, he killed it. This time he's put together another original track, which is actually off his upcoming project, Ratchetness vs. Righteousness, so be on the lookout for that. Enjoy.

Ride (Acoustic) - Timeflies

I love it when Timeflies does acoustic versions of their own tracks. Yes, the acoustic Timeflies Tuesdays are great, but when they do it for their own original tracks, there's almost something magical that happens (check out I Choose U if you don't believe me). Don't let yourself miss out on this one.

Step (Remix) - Vampire Weekend ft. Danny Brown, Heems & Despot

I've honestly never really been a huge fan of Vampire Weekend. Not that I despise their music, it's just that I can't say that I've really ever gone out of my way to listen to one of their tracks. Well I wen't out of my way for this one the second I saw the Danny Brown feature, and before you ask, yes, it actually works pretty well. Cop it below and make your own opinions.

War - Common

Common announced a collab project with No I.D., Nobody's Smiling, earlier today, and only a few hours after that, the first taste of it hit the web. As expected it's exactly what you would expect from a No I.D x Common collab, a hard hitting militaristic beat that showcases Common's flow. Check it below.

Tsunami (Jay Cosmic Remix) - DVBBS x Borgeous

This is huge. A more than perfect remix to add to ANY rager playlist from Jay Cosmic. Honestly, just do yourself a favor and press play.

My Nigga (Remix) - Young Buck

Buck is making noise again, and I can't say I'm not pumped. This time he's jumped in YG, Jeezy and Rich Homie Quan's hood banger My Nigga, and somehow managed to make it even tougher. Yeah that's right. Check it out below.

Monday, January 6, 2014

Goodness Gracious (Video) - Ellie Goulding

Have I ever told you guys that I'm in love with Ellie? Oh really, I tell you every opportunity that I get? Well here's another one, and guess what? I'm going to tell you again. Miss Ellie Goulding really can do no wrong. She's both gorgeous and talented. Enjoy her latest visuals.

Murda - Kid Ink ft. Pusha T

Another liberation from Kid Ink's upcoming My Own Lane, and this time it's featuring none other than Pusha T. Enjoy.

Moments - Skizzy Mars ft. Ms. Jones

Another gem I managed to sleep on over the break. Everyone's favorite underground Manhattan rapper Skizzy Mars dropped a great track right before Christmas, and just like his previous (Summer11), it shows some serious growth, and actually rivals as one of my favorite Skizzy tracks to date. If you missed this one, check it out below.

Easy - Gorilla Zoe

Yes, you read that correctly, Zoe is back. After what seems like years, Gorilla Zoe looks like he may be making a resurgence, and I'm not complaining at all, especially after hearing this joint. Check it below.

Trophies - Drake

Even though I've been behind the ball, and chances are that you've probably heard this one already, there's no way I couldn't share Drizzy's latest. Enjoy.

I'm A Fool (Video) - CJ Trillo

I'll start this one off with a Hello. I feel like that's really essential because I've taken a serious hiatus over the last couple weeks, and so I would like to apologize as well. It was Christmas time (as you probably noticed), so between work, seeing family, spending time with friends, and copious amounts of drinking, I didn't really have a ton of time to update the site. Well things have finally slowed down, and I've decided to come back on a great note. CJ Trillo released an unreal project, Nostalgia, back in November (which if you haven't copped yet, you need to right now), and then at the end of December, he decided to release some visuals to go along with one of the many standouts, I'm A Fool. Don't let yourself miss out on this one.
