Do You Right - Bridge

I'm actually extremely glad that I heard about Bridge. In case you missed his last track, Intuition, Bridge is an up and coming artist out of LA. With this latest track, he reminds me a bit of Timeflies meets Quincy Kwalae, which is not a bad thing at all. Watch out for this guy. Enjoy.

A Million Lives - Jake Miller

I've said it before, but Jake Miller is one to watch out for. A Million Lives is his latest, and it's a fantastic track with even more fantastic lyrics. It's a series of stories about how Jake's music has touched his fans, followed by a heart filled shoutout to about what his fans mean to him. It's always great to see an artist do a track like this, so don't miss out.

Sorry - T.I. ft. Andre 3000

Now this is a great track. Clifford hooks up with 3 Stacks (who I honestly can't even tell you the last time I heard him) for a real hip hop track. T.I.P. is still killing it with all of his latest track, so I'm definitely waiting anxiously for a new project. This joint actually has a lot of buzz right now because Andre may or may not have attempted to apologize to Big Boi in his verse. Check this one out for sure.

Hunger - Marc Goone ft. Futuristic

Straight fire from my man Marc Goone. This is his latest in a string of amazing releases (Take For Granted and Young Kahleesi), and it is honestly unreal. He grabs a feature from an artist who I actually just heard of the other day (thanks to a buddy of mine), Futuristic, and they absolutely kill it together. Marc's flow and lyrical abilities are flawless, and I know I keep saying this, but he just keeps getting better and better. And the way that Futuristic just vibes with Marc's sound on this one is just fantastic. Do not miss out. Enjoy.

Overtime - Cash Cash

Here's another great track that I missed out on. Cash Cash decided to drop this banger on Monday, and it has honestly been on repeat since I downloaded it yesterday. A perfect pre-game track. Upbeat and catchy as hell. Don't sleep on it.

Get Low (Cover) - Dan Henig

This is just too good. The guys over at FNT posted this joint on their fb page, and I couldn't pass up sharing it with you guys as well. This guy, Dan Henig, decided to put together an acoustic set at an unsuspecting coffee shop, and what came of it was pure magic. I wont say any more, so just press play.

Alphabet Soup (Mixtape) - Jitta On The Track

I just finally got to check out Jitta On The Track's latest project, Alphabet Soup, that he dropped last week, and let me tell you, I am impressed. Let me start off by saying that I am a big fan of Jitta. His flow is fantastic, and his rhymes are absolutely dope. That being said, I wasn't overly impressed with his previous tape, The Going Green Project. I knew that Jitta had some serious talent, so I really kept my hopes up for his latest project. Alphabet Soup delivers. Once again Jitta On The Track is one of those artists you should watch out for. Enjoy this one.

Last Flight - Jitta On The Track

Stars - Jitta On The Track

Letter Pt. III - Jitta On The Track

Download: Alphabet Soup

Swoon (Lyric Video) - Timeflies

I didn't share their EP with you because I figured you were all over it anyway, but in case you did miss it and now are wondering if you should check it out or not, listen to this track. Swoon is one of my favorite tracks off Timeflies' One Night EP, so if this doesn't get you excited, I don't know what will. Enjoy.

Leaving You (Sound Remedy Remix) - Wolf Alice

I am absolutely hooked on this remix from Sound Remedy. I still don't know what it is about this track, but I really can't stop listening. Definitely check this one out.

Stripper - The Game ft. Wale

Game has been on point lately. This is his latest, and it's actually one that won't be making his upcoming album due to some legal problems he ran into with the sample. Doesn't change the fact that this is a great track. Enjoy.

Can't Get Enough Eleanor Rigby - The Jane Doze

I really do love these girls. The Jane Doze have taken two artists that I would have NEVER thought could go together (J. Cole & Trey Songs with Feature Cuts' Remix of The Beatles), and they manage to make it sound absolutely flawless. I will say that they have departed a little from their normal sound with this one, but the girls manage to pull it off perfectly. Enjoy this one.

All In My Head - Joe Budden ft. Royce da 5'9" & Kobe

This is a hot track off Joe Budden's project A Loose Quater, with a dope verse from one Slaughterhouse homies, Royce Da 5'9, and an amazingly catchy hook from Kobe. Don't sleep on this one.

Peanuts & Whisky - Matty Rico ft. Constant L. Burts

In case you don't recognize the name, Matty Rico is one half of the amazing duo AudioDax, and he is now actually starting to branch out, and is working on his own personal mixtape. Peanuts & Whiskey looks like it could be his 5th solo release, but if it's any indication of what his tape is going to be like, I'm excited. Check this one out for sure.

Midnight - Olu

A treat for all you guys celebrating Thanksgiving. Another drop off Olu's upcoming project, Educated Fool. Now, I thought I was tired of this Midnight City sample, but Dave Cappa flips it to fit perfectly with Olu's signature dope flow. A fantastic track, so don't miss out.

Just What I Drank - DJ 21azy

This is hot right here. DJ 21azy decided to blend a couple of my favorite tracks as of late, and it turned out absolutely perfectly. He took the beat and hook from Just What I Am by Cudi and King Chip, and laced it with some verses from Kendrick's Swimming Pools (Drank). Don't miss this one.

Uh Oh - Hendersin

My man Hendersin decided to drop a track yesterday, and it's great as always. Uh Oh is another drop (the first being All I Got) off his upcoming project No Rhyme Or Reason Vol II: Just A Sample, so be on the lookout for that one. Enjoy.

Monster - Ryan Notes

The more I hear from Ryan Notes, the more I am impressed by him. With each new track, his flow becomes more refined and mature, which is fantastic. Monster is a slowed down joint with a great remixed Clams Casino beat, and Ryan's flow and lyrical ability is absolutely impeccable. It almost reminds me a slower Logic, which is actually pretty dope. Seriously watch out for this guy and his upcoming EP, An American EP. Enjoy.

One Night (Video) - Timeflies

I wasn't about to let you all miss out on this one. Timeflies decided to release the title track off their upcoming EP (which you can pre-order here). If you didn't know it before, let this gorgeous track show you how amazing this EP is going to be. Enjoy.

Diamond In The Rough (EP) - DJ Trademark

The wait is over. After weeks of leaks, DJ Trademark has finally dropped is EP Diamond In The Rough, and let me tell you, I am blown away. Usually on mash tapes like this, there's always one or two songs that just don't quite flow right to me, but on this one, there isn't. Every single blend is absolutely perfect. This is a fantastic EP to add to the playlist, and get you through the rest of the week. Enjoy this one.

Snooze (Soulero & Hellberg x Chris Brown x Owl City & Carly Rae x Krewella) - DJ Trademark

Download: Diamond In The Rough

Love Is Overrated (Shwayze Remix) - Huey Mack

I don't know why, but this track just seems to fit with Huey Mack just perfectly. Now, I loved this joint when Shwayze dropped it last month, so when Huey Mack decided to drop a remix, I was all over it. Don't miss out.

It's On - Alex Jordahl

You might recognize Alex Jordahl from the track Be Okay that he released with Mayo back in September, but if not, this will be your introduction to him. He's a new up an comer based out of Illinois, and he's got a lot of potential. His flow reminds me a bit of Twist, which is actually pretty dope. It's On is his latest joint, and it's definitely got a great vibe. Watch out for this kid. Enjoy.

Lucky Rogers - Mike Stud

Figured I would share #SundayStudDay with you on time this week. I am a huge fan of when Mike Stud decides to jump on a tough beat and just kill it with one liners, and Lucky Rogers is just that. I've said it before, but Mike Stud is killing it. Enjoy.

Diamonds (Remix) - Rihanna ft. Kanye West

I love this. Yeezy jumps in on a remix to Rihanna's lead single from her new album (now completely leaked in case you were curious), Unapologetic. This is dope, so don't miss it.

Invincible - Tyler Thomas & Jake Broido

This right here is one of the many reasons why I love what I do. I got sent this track yesterday, and to be honest with you, I probably would have never heard of Tyler Thomas and Jake Broido if I hadn't, but I'm  sure glad I did. Tyler is an dope up and coming MC based out of LA, and Jake is a great producer/singer/artist in general based out of Arizona (but originally from Manhattan Beach, CA from what I can gather).  Invincible is an absolutely fantastic track that I am completely hooked on. Definitely don't miss out on this one. Plus, these guys decided to help out the victims of Hurricane Sandy, so check out the details here. Enjoy.

Wire - Ian Levy ft Trey Won Kim

There is just something about Ian Levy and his flow that just reminds me of being at a poetry slam. This is his latest track, and he's decided to team up with an artist by the name of Trey Won Kim. The more I listen to this one, the more I enjoy it. Check it out.

Toothbrush (Video) - Wax

This new joint from Wax is absolutely golden. It's all about how one thing leads to another when a girlfriend starts crashing at your place. And it all started with a simple toothbrush. This is definitely a catchy track, so don't miss out.

Fuck Em We Ball (Mixtape) - B.o.B

This is SOOO much better than B.o.B's latest projects, Strange Clouds and EPIC. It reminds me a bit of The Adventures of Bobby Ray, which is dope. My favorite stuff from B.o.B in while, so enjoy this one.

Roll One Up - B.o.B

Everything - B.o.B

Late Night Through The City (Video) - Ryan Notes

Ryan Notes' latest track gets an extremely fitting set of visuals to go with it. This is a gorgeous video that manages to grab and express the vibe of this track perfectly. Enjoy this one.

White Dress (Alternate Version) - Kanye West

A re-release of Ye's latest hit the web courtesy of RZA, and although only a little bit changed, I am definitely feeling this one more than the original. It sounds like it's been injected with just a little bit more life and warmth, which really gives the entire track a much better vibe. Enjoy it.

Fuckin' Problem - PropaneLv

Once again, PropaneLv manages to come through with a dope cover/remix. As you can probably tell from the title, he decided to take on A$AP Rocky's latest hit, and he actually manages to hold his own. PropaneLv laces this joint with his fantastic vocals, as well as his Cole-like flow. Don't sleep on this one.

Download

Let's Go On A World Tour - The White Panda

It's been a little while since we've heard from The White Panda, but they are back with a fantastic new blend of Carousel and Wale. Once again, they manage to mash the tracks perfectly, making it sound as if this is the way the tracks were meant to sound. Anyway, enjoy it.

Don't Wake Me Up (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

They're back! After what seems like forever, Timeflies is back with a brand new Timeflies Tuesday. I feel like I don't really need to explain much about these anymore so i'm just going to say Cal has amazing vocals and Rob can create absolutely gorgeous beats. And as an added bonus to this weeks release, Timeflies has also just announced that they are releasing a new EP, One Night, on November 27th, so be on the lookout. Enjoy.

Money Ball - Tim Gunter ft. Cash Out

Tim Gunter is back with another great remix. Last time he flipped 2 Chainz, but this time he's decided to put his own, now signature, spin on Ca$h Out's track Cashin Out. He gives it a much more electro / house vibe, which is actually pretty dope. Definitely check this one out.

Need Your Love - Timmy D.

I am impressed. Here's another great track from this fresh face to the game, Timmy D. His last track was more of a party joint with a great sample of T Swift, but this time he's put a little bit more emotion into his lyrics and uses a fantastic flip of my girl Ellie. Definitely a great followup track, so be on the lookout for this guy. Enjoy.

Tuesday, November 13, 2012

Lullabies (Adventure Club Remix) - Yuna

I love it when Adventure Club puts together remixes like this. They manage to blend their signature sound with Yuna's original soft melodies absolutely perfectly. A fantastic track that you will not want to miss. Enjoy.

Drop Out - DJ Trademark

Monday night rager? I think so! Drop Out is our last taste of Trademark's upcoming project, Diamond In The Rough, until it finally drops later this week, and let me tell you: it's one hell of a taste. Kryder x Eva Simons x Dada Life x Dirty South. I'm pumped from this EP.

Clarity (Remix) - Huey Mack

I am honestly impressed. Huey Mack has put together a gorgeous remix to Zedd's Clarity (actually cosigned by Zedd himself) that I just can't stop listening to. If this one, as well as his previous remix of SHM's Don't You Worry Child, are any indication where Huey is going with his sound, I'm excited. Enjoy this one.

Concrete - Logic

Nas' New York State of Mind Pt. 2 is a huge beat for Logic to try and flex on, but he manages to to not only hold his own, but actually make the beat his own. Yes, I know that's a big claim, but Young Sinatra just flows so well over beats like this. Anyway, don't miss out on this one.

Take For Granted (Video) - Marc Goone

Marc Goone just keeps getting better. Each new track is a new opportunity from him to show off his skills and artistry, and he manages to kill it every time. Now, I feel like I talk up these releases from Marc a lot, and although they deserve the hype, I'm just gonna let the track speak for itself. Enjoy.

I'll Drink To That - Outasight

It's not secret that Outasight is big time now. Since signing to WB, you can see his name all over the place. But I will say that I kind of lost a little interest in the guy. He still was releasing good music, but it just started to all sound the same to me. That being said, I'll Drink To That is the first track of his in a while that sounds really fresh while still maintaining that classic Outasight sound. Anyway, enjoy this one.

Good Reasons (Video) - Sam Lachow & Raz

5 Good Reasons, the fantastic EP from Sam Lachow & Raz, is still on constant rotation on my iPod, and that actually says a lot about how great it is. Being the world class blogger that I am, I'm constantly downloading new music, so it's honestly a rare occurrence that an entire EP will be played as frequently as I play 5 Good Reasons. Anyway, Good Reasons is the 4th track off their EP to get the visual treatment, so enjoy, and if you haven't you need to download 5 Good Reasons.

Don't Wake The Neighbors - Truth Himself

Since releasing his mixtape, On To The Real World, back in May, Truth Himself has been kind of laying low.  He's clearly been honing his skills on the mic, because this track is just fantastic. Not that his previous stuff was bad, because it was actually really good, it's just that his flow has become more refined and smooth, which is great. A fantastic track that has definitely got me excited for Truth's next project. Enjoy.

Lines - Big Boi ft. A$AP Rocky & Phantogram

Big Boi let this joint drop over the weekend and I just finally got a chance to check it out. Now that I've given it a listen, I'm hooked. It's got a haunting indie/electro beat and hook from Phantogram, and both Big Boi and Rocky's flows manage to blend perfectly with the entire feel of the track. Lines is off Big Boi's upcoming project, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, which is dropping December 11th. Enjoy.

Heavy (Mixtape) - CJ Trillo

Now this is a fantastic project. I have been waiting anxiously for CJ Trillo to release this one, and let me tell you, it was worth every second that I waited. Heavy is an amazing mixtape that is just filled with great tracks, all of which have gorgeous lyrical content and just superb production. I remember when I first heard CJ (back when he was Sucka Free CJ) over 2 years ago through Olu, and I said then that he had a lot of potential. Since then, his lyrical ability has just blossomed, and his sound has really matured into something great. That being said, it was actually pretty hard to choose which tracks I wanted to post here, because Heavy is one of those mixtapes where every single track is fantastic. Anyway, I'll stop talking about it and just let you listen for yourself. Enjoy.

Call This Home - CJ Trillo

Comeback Kid - CJ Trillo

Download: Heavy

Last Hope (Remix) - Mayo

Mayo just keeps getting better and better. This time he jumps on Drizzy's beat, and he actually manages to hold his own. He's got great heartfelt lyricism, and some real smooth flow. Enjoy this one.

We Done It Again - Young Jeezy

A couple days late, but Jeezy dropped this one in celebration of Obama winning the election.  Enjoy.

I Knew You Were Trouble (Remix) - Taylor Swift ft. Sammy Adams

I would have NEVER guess that this would happen. Sammy Adams jumped in and did a reworking of what seems like everyone's favorite track right now, Taylor Swift's I Knew You Were Trouble. He mixed the beat and then added his own verse, and it actually turned out pretty good. Check it out.

Bittersweet (Prod. by Skrillex) - Ellie Goulding

Kind of an appropriate title for this one. A breakup, but a really great track. I will say that I am kind of glad that Skrillex and my girl Ellie Goulding split, because maybe I have a chance with her now. Anyway, enjoy this one.

Sign Language (Video) - Kinetics & One Love ft. Wynter Gordon

Wow. Just plain wow. I've been waiting a long time for this one. This is actually the very first song by Kinetics & One Love that I ever heard, and listening to it then gave me chills, so I became a huge fan. I still listen to this track today, and it STILL gives me chills every time I hear it. You honestly should know this song by now but if not, it's a gorgeous yet tragic story about love that is left unexpressed. A truly amazing song by truly amazing artists. That all being said, when I saw the teaser that these guys dropped a couple day ago, I got a little worried. With such a song that's driven by a heartfelt story like this, it needs a video that tells that story. The teaser didn't seem to allude to any "story", so like I said, I was worried. When the video was finally released, I realized that all of my fears were extremely misplaced. K&OL came through with a spectacular visual treatment to accompany this truly amazing song. Anyway, enough of me talking, enjoy the video.

Hell & Back (Remix) - KiD iNk ft. Machine Gun Kelly

I've always been a fan of this track from KiD iNk, and now that it has a feature from MGK, it's just that much better. Enjoy.

R.E.M. - Uno Hype

It's been a while since we've seen any new ish from Uno Hype (not since his tape Fxck The Hype back in April), so it's great to hear him back flexing on the mic. As always, his flow is absolutely mint, and the way it works with this beat from el-R is just fantastic. I've said it before, but Uno Hype has a ton of talent and he is definitely one you should watch out for. Enjoy.

Still Dreamin' (Remix) - Kinetics & One Love ft. Termanology & Jadakiss

I knew this one was coming a while ago, but to be honest, I completely forgot about it until Kinetics & One Love dropped it just a little while ago. I would normally say that this track was one of my favorites off the AMAZING album You Are Not Alone, but to be honest, the entire album is fantastic, and as cheesy as it sounds, I don't think I could pick favorites from it. Anyway, Enjoy.

Thought I Told Ya'll - Yonas

Couldn't let you miss the new release from Yonas. This joint is off his upcoming EP Bright Lights, Big City, and I can already tell you that it's going to be a fantastic EP. Yonas definitely has the potential to go places, so watch out.

Missing Piece - DJ Trademark

Another fantastic mix off Trademark's upcoming EP. This time he blends some Leventina with Katy Perry, Robyn & Kesha, and creates one hell of a rager. I'm pumped for his EP, which is dropping next wednesday. Enjoy.

Just What I Am (Video) - Kid Cudi ft. King Chip

This sick track that leaked back in August now has a dope set of visuals, directed by Cudi himself, to go along with it. Enjoy.

Walls - Terence Ryan

A little bit different than what I'm used to hearing from Terence Ryan, but this is still a great track. Now, it's been a while since we've heard from Terence (not since his Skeleton EP back in January), but from the sounds of this track, it looks like he's evolved his sound a bit. Walls is less hip hop with an indie spin, and more just straight indie. Not that that's a bad thing, because this track is absolutely gorgeous, it's just not what you might be used to hearing from Terence Ryan. Anyway, enjoy it.

The Come Down - Skizzy Mars ft. Conner Youngblood

Skizzy Mars really is on the come up. His debut project Phases has been in the works for quite some time now, yet he has managed to create a huge fan base by just releasing a few tracks. I've said it before, but Skizzy has a refreshingly different sound that really sets him apart from the others in the game now. The Come Down is the first drop off Phases, and it has some great flow from Skizzy, and a haunting infusion of vocals from Conner Youngblood. Don't miss out.

Traphouse Rock (Album) - Kids These Days

It's been a while since we've heard from Kids These Days (not since their amazing cover/remix of Kanye's Flashing Lights), but they've definitely been working hard over the last few months, and they now have this great album to show for it. Traphouse Rock is a fantastic showcase of these kids' talents, and it really shows off their ability to infuse a ton of soul into each and every track. This is not an album that you will want to miss out on. Enjoy.

Doo-Wah - Kids These Days

Who Do U-Luv - Kids These Days

Holy Water - The Game

I grew up listening to The Game, so to see new stuff from him is crazy nostalgic. That being said, this definitely not old school Game. The beat reminds me a bit of something that Tyler, The Creator would put together, but Game's flow is just as heavy as it always has been. Enjoy.

Funk Volume Cypher 3 (Video) - Hopsin, Jarren Benton, Dizzy Wright, SwizZz

I'm a huge sucker for cyphers, so I really couldn't let you miss out on this one. Some dope flow from all the guys.

Too Close (Clark Kent & Kid Ranger Remix) - Alex Clare

It looks like I downloaded this gem a few days ago, but I never actually posted it, so here it is. Clark Kent, who you might recognize from the dope B.o.B and Nicki remix I posted last month, dropped this great collab with Kid Ranger, so definitely check it out. Enjoy.

Halloween - Allison Weinstock + Dante CK

Now here's something a little different to spice up your Thursday night. A friend to HotLeaks, Dante CK, sent this my way on Halloween, but I just finally got a chance to check it out, and now that I have, I'm hooked. This track is a little different in the sense that it's got a much more indie / rock / electronic vibe to it. Now that may sound like an odd description, but don't let it deter you from checking this track out, because it's definitely a great track. Gorgeous vocals over an addicting beat. Enjoy.

Chum - Earl Sweatshirt

I'll tell you flat out that I'm pretty sure the whole OFWGKTA craze is dead. That being said, I can't deny the skills that Earl Sweatshirt has behind the mic. Chum is a sick track that's just dripping with nasty flow, so don't miss out.

Sundress - M.i

Another release off M.i's upcoming project Pushing Keyes. I'm actually feeling this track more than his previous drop, Swimming Pools, so now I'm even more excited for the mixtape. Be on the lookout.

Thursday, November 1, 2012

Fuckin' Problem (Freestyle) - Joell Ortiz

Joell absolutely destroyed this A$AP track. Four minutes of non-stop flow. Don't sleep on this one.

Cycle Of Nightmares (Let It Go) - e-dubble

Here's a treat for you. Another drop off e-dubble's upcoming EP, Reset (the first being Down, released last week). This track actually has a lot of meaning to e-dub, as he wrote it in a time of 'personal turmoil and uncertainty', and you can get that feeling when you listen to it. His lyricism and artistry once again shine. Reset is going to be amazing. Enjoy.
