Eagles - Bun B

Bun B decided to leak a track off his upcoming album, Trill OG: The Epilogue, which drops November 11th. I really don't know what to say about this one other than it's got that classic Bun B sound. Check it below.

Long Kiss Of Death - Ace Cosgrove ft. Uno Hype

Didn't actually know the name Ace Cosgrove when I saw this one, but I'm more than familiar with the name Uno Hype (and you should be too by now) so I had to check it out. After pressing play, I can now tell you that I'll be on the lookout for more from Ace. LKOD is a little bit dark, but there's something else about it that just pulls you in. Check it below.

Dance Floor Filth 3 (EP) - 3LAU

Get ready to get filthy, because it's finally here! 3LAU's newest project Dance Floor Filth 3 has finally dropped, and it is every bit as rageworthy as you expected it to be. Do I really need to explain more? Download it below.

Fix You (Collin McLoughlin Remix) - Coldplay

Mr. McLoughlin has been flexing like crazy behind the boards lately, and here's his latest addition to an already amazing string of remixes. Absolutely gorgeous. Enjoy this one.

Bed Peace (Video) - Jhené Aiko ft. Childish Gambino

I think I'm in love. I had never actually heard of Jhené Aiko before today, so in case you're in the same spot I was, here's a simple breakdown: shes absolutely gorgeous, sings like an angel, and does collabs with Gambino. What more could you ask for, really? I am definitely a fan. Check the video out above.

Hide & Seek (Candyland's OG Remix) - Imogen Heap

I want to start this one off by saying that I've always loved Imogen Heap's Hide & Seek. There's just something so pure and soothing about it. Well Candyland takes this gorgeous track and spins into something that's completely refreshing and original, but still managing to maintain the integrity of the original. I just can't stop listening to this.

Day By Day - Futuristic ft. Brielle Marie

A little slower than what we're used to hearing from Futuristic, but impressive none the less. His flow works really well with this laid back beat and Brielle Marie's gorgeous vocals. Check it out above, and cop it below.

Move Along (Remix) - Kasum

This is truly amazing. Kasum has decided to bless us with a brand new remix, and I would dare say that it's his best to date. From beginning to end, it's non stop gold. This is one of those songs that when it ends, you immediately press play again. Don't let yourself miss out on this one. Enjoy.

Worldstar - Childish Gambino

Definitely not as good as 3005 in my mind, but impressive none the less. Check it out below.

Killer Tofu (Video) - OverDoz.

Before today, I'd never actually heard of OverDoz., but now that I have, I can definitely say that I'll be watching for more from them. A group out of LA, they've got a sound that reminds me of Childish Gambino crossed with Chance The Rapper and Flatbush Zombies. Yes, I'm aware how odd sounds, but it actually comes out really good. Check it out above and watch out for more from OverDoz.

Free Your Mind - 3LAU

I can't even explain how excited I am for Dance Floor Filth 3. If you weren't as pumped as I am before, you will be after you hear this one. Seriously, can 3LAU do anything wrong? Enjoy.

Break From Toronto / Curious (Video) - PARTYNEXTDOOR

Gorgeous women and amazing music. Could you ask for a better combo? Didn't think so. Well PARTYNEXTDOOR's newest video has just those. Enjoy it.

Dub Sac - Ab-Soul

TDE is back. New leak from Ab-Soul that may or may not be off his upcoming project. Check it out below.

Free (Remix) - Rudimental ft. Emeli Ande & Nas

Wow. I jumped into this one for the Nas feature, but I left a Rudimental fan. I honestly don't think I would have ever expected Nas to feature on a track like this (It's almost got an electric/indie sort of vibe), but now that I've heard it, I'm hooked. Do yourself a favor and check this one out.

New York Soul (Video) - Jon Bellion

This right here is just one of those songs that you just wanna turn up, put your headphones in, close your eyes and just enjoy it. I honestly can't even tell you how many times I've listened to this track already. Seriously, do yourself and check out this latest from Jon Bellion's upcoming project. Enjoy.

My Boo (Remix) - KJ Hines

A few weeks back when I featured KJ Hines' fantastic track I'm Sorry, I said that I was going to be on the lookout for more from him. Well here it is, a fresh track from KJ, and I've officially become a fan of his. Definitely check this one out, and watch out for more.

Hop Is Back (Video) - Hopsin

It's been a minute since Hopsin released anything, but what a way to come back. This track is sick. His flow and lyrical content on this one actually sounds like Eminem's early stuff, and if you ask me, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I'm definitely a fan. Check it out above.

Royals (Remix) - Lorde x Rick Ross

Yes, Rozay jumped in on Lorde's hit Royals, and it's actually pretty solid. Check it out below.

Light Switch - Yelawolf

Here's the first leak off Yelawolf's upcoming project, Black Fall, and it is sick. Black Fall actually drops on Halloween, so we don't have long to wait at all, which is good because I'm pumped after hearing this track. Enjoy.

Skip To The Good Bit (Video) - Rizzle Kicks

A ridiculous video for an absolutely addicting track from Rizzle Kicks. Maybe it's because I have a soft spot for Brit rap, but I really just can't stop listening to this one. Check it out for sure.

3005 - Childish Gambino

In case you missed it, Mr. Glover poured out all of his fears and emotions via a series of instagram posts a few days ago, and the internet damn near exploded. The biggest response was actually concern for Bino's mental well being, but earlier today he decided to drop this gem to show us that he's actually all good. All hype aside, this is actually a really good track. I can't wait to hear more from Gambino's Because The Internet, which is dropping sometime this winter, so get excited. Enjoy.

Old School Love - Luper Fiasco ft. Ed Sheeran

I'm actually pretty upset that I missed this one. Lupe grabbed Ed Sheeran and put together a spectacularly lyrical track (as always) but not only that, he managed to make it thoroughly enjoyable as well. Don't make the same mistake I did by sleeping on this one, so check it now. Enjoy.

If I Lose Myself - DJ Tuto

Need something to get your rager started (if it hasnt already)? DJ Tuto has got you covered. He takes OneRepublic's track of the same name and blends it perfectly with Dimitri Vegas, Like Mike, & Wolfpack. Definitely check this one out.

Hell's Kitchen - DJ Khaled ft. J. Cole & Bas

One of the most anticipated tracks off Khaled's Suffering From Success has hit the web, and it's actually sick. I just can't stop listening to it. Definitely don't miss out on this one.

State I'm In (Video) - Jared Evan

Jared Evan's got such a great sound. It's soulful, smooth, catchy, and lyrical, all combined into one great vibe. State I'm In is the newest single off Jared's upcoming project, The Basement Chronicles, which I'm already excited about. Anyway, check it out above, and hopefully we'll hear more from Jared Evan soon.

Against All Odds - Crooked I

Crooked I has always and will always be one of my favorite rappers in the game. Still hot off his BET Slaughterhouse cypher, Crooked I decided to let one loose for us fans, and he didn't disappoint with it. Check it out below.

Aint Too Deep - ANTHM

ANTHM continues to be a sleeper in the game. His flow and lyrical ability are spectacular, and he really should have a place on top up and comers right now. His latest isn't attached to any project, but it's definitely a showcase of his talent behind the mic. Check this one out.

Roar (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

I love Timeflies Tuesdays. You get exactly what you're expecting with this one, so there's not real reason to try and hype it up. But on somewhat of a side note, the guys actually released a brand new EP, Warning Signs, as well as a free acoustic project, Started Out On A Tuesday Unplugged, over the last few days, so if you haven't yet, you really need to check those out. Enjoy.

Rap God - Eminem

For all of you who might have forgotten, Em still stands as one of the greatest rappers of all time. He demonstrates exactly why with this new leak off his upcoming project, The Marshall Mathers LP 2. Don't let yourself miss this one.

The Alphabet (Video) - Luke Christopher

Here's a simple yet enjoyable set of visuals for Luke Christopher's latest drop, The Alphabet. To be honest with you though, I'm just using this video as an excuse to share this great track with you once again. And for those of you who missed it last time, you can check it out below. Enjoy.

Summer11 - Skizzy Mars

Skizzy Mars is back on the grind. This is the first solo track he's released since dropping Phases back in March, and what a way to come back into it. It just seems like he gets better and better with each track he releases, and I know I said it last time, but this is probably one of my favorite's from Skizzy. Definitely don't sleep on this one.

Hipster Girls (Video) - Iamsu!

Over the weekend I finally come to accept the simple fact that I love hipster girls. So that being said, this track from Iamsu is just too good. I'll be straight with you though, this is the first that I've actually heard of Iamsu, but after listening to this gem, I can tell you that I'll definitely be on the lookout for more from him. Check it out, and enjoy.

Gotta Go - G-Eazy ft. BEND / Daniel Johnston

G-Eazy's back again, and just you would probably guess, he absolutely kills it. Once again, he manages to grab that 50's sound and blend it perfectly with new school hip hop vibe. Gotta Go is a track that didn't quite make the cut for G-Eazy's upcoming album, but he decided to drop it as a treat for us fans anyway. Check it out below.

Simple Man (Video) - Wale

Wale gives his fantastic track Simple Man some great simple visuals, featuring cameos from J.Cole as well as TO's own, Drake. Check it out above.

Change (The Chainsmokers' Hot & Steamy Edit) - BANKS

Need something soothing for your Thursday evening? The Chainsmokers have got you covered. It just seems like these guys produce gold every single time they get behind the boards. Do yourself a favor and check this one out.

Michael Cera (Video) - Michael Christmas

Spotted this one a few days ago and really didn't think too much of it, but today as I was working, I realized I was singing it to myself, so when I got home I had to give it another chance. Now that I have, I'm hooked. It's awkward, funny and catchy all rolled into one. Will definitely be keeping my eye one Michael Christmas from now on.

Way Too Far - OnCue

I've said it before, but Cuey has become one of those artists who I don't even need to listen to the track before I press download because I just know that it's going to be gold. Way Too Far is no exception. I honestly can't stop listening to it. Classic OnCue flow and lyricism over an absolutely hypnotic beat, so you really can't go wrong. This is actually the latest leak off his upcoming tape Angry Young Men, which to no surprise is on track to be fantastic. Anyway, check it out below.

After Two (Video) - Parker

Not 100% sure why Dumbfoundead did an alias change to Parker, but I'm just gonna roll with it and share his latest visuals regardless. After Two is yet another cut off his fantastic project Old Boy Jon, so if you've been sleeping, it's time to check that out. Enjoy.

Moonlight Therapy - Johnny Astro ft. Crocket Porter

I was actually just saying the other day, "Hey, I haven't heard from Johnny Astro in a while. I wonder what he's been working on". Well here's exactly what he's been working on: The latest single off his upcoming project, #TheSkyIsBroken, and just like his previous release (Sober), it is absolutely fantastic. It's magic every time Johnny Astro hits the track, and I can't even tell you how excited I am for his new tape. Anyway, enjoy the new song, and be on the lookout for more.

Death (Video) - Flatbush ZOMBiES

BEAST Coast stand up. Flatbush ZOMBiES are back again, this time with some visuals from their Better Off Dead tape. Check it out, and if you haven't yet, go cop the tape.

Yaphet Kotto (Freestyle) - Childish Gambino

Childish Gambino has officially announced his newest album: Because The Internet. Here's a new track to go along with the announcement.

Half Of Me (Video) - Ajo

I would now like to introduce you to Ajo, an up and coming artist based out of Chicago. Now to be honest, I really don't know a ton about her, but what I can tell you is that I just can't get this song of hers out of my head. There's something about it that is just plain haunting. Enjoy it.

Don't Forget Us - Nipsey Hussle ft. Dom Kennedy

Nipsey's been on fire lately. His new tape Crenshaw drops later today, but this joint got leaked and I just couldn't pass it up. Just do yourself a favor and press play on this one. A chilled out track that you just can't get out of your head. Enjoy.

Pound Cake (Remix) - Man-u-iLL

Man-u-iLL has been a sleeper for me. Not sure why, but somehow he keeps falling off my radar, bu then every time I hear one of his tracks like this one, it hits me again how sick he really is. Anyway, this latest is his take on Drizzy's track of the same name, and it actually turned out pretty fantastic. Check it out below.

Royals - PropaneLv

It's been less than a week since Lv dropped his debut album Varsity Blues, and he's already back on the grind. This newest is actually sick. He take the beat from Lorde's hit track Royals and absolutely destroys it. Seriously, check this one out, and if you haven't yet, you really need to go cop that debut album.

Living My Life - Mike Posner ft. 2 Chainz

I think I expected a lot more out of this track. Not that it's bad, it's just not exactly what I expected. Maybe I would have enjoyed it more if it had been a bit longer (and the minute long instrumental was cut). Anyway, check out the new track from Posner & Tity Boi.

Thursday, October 3, 2013

Echelon (Video) - Angel Haze

I think I've officially become an Angel Haze fan. When I first heard this one, I really didn't know what to think. Something about it just sounded off, but then the more I listened to it, the more I became addicted. Now I can't stop listening. So if you press play on this one and you find yourself in the same boat I was in, give it another listen. Check it out above.

My Potna - T.I.

DJ Scream and DJ MLK dropped a mixtape in anticipation of the upcoming BET Hip-Hop Awards, and it featured this sick track from non other than T.I.. Check it out below.

Nothing Was The Same (Medley) - Marc Goone

Once again Marc Goone kills it. This week he's taken on a series of tracks off Drake's Nothing Was The Same and blended/remixed them all into one fantastic release. Enjoy it.

Varsity Blues (Album) - PropaneLv

Months and months of waiting has finally come down to this moment. PropaneLv has been on my radar for quite some time now (it was almost 2 years ago now that he released his track Rearview), so it's fantastic to finally hear his debut album. We've heard countless tracks from him over the last couple years, many of which being remixes (he actually released a fantastic tape of all/most of them, Letter To The Industry, back in July), but to hear all these completely original tracks in one place really is something else. Seriously, do yourself a favor and check this album out, because I promise that you won't be disappointed after pressing play.

Breakfast - Ground Up ft. G-Eazy

When I spotted this new drop from Ground Up, I wasn't quite sure what to think. Now I like to think that I know these artists pretty well at this point (both G-Eazy and the guys from Ground Up), and over the years they've each developed their own fantastic sounds. But that being said, each has their own distinct vibe, and I really wouldn't have ever thought that they would have worked on a track together. When I pressed play though, all my doubts were dissolved. This track is straight fire from everyone involved. Don't sleep on this one.

Dope Fiend Rental - Danny Brown ft. ScHoolboy Q

Another leak off Danny Brown's upcoming album, Old, and this time it features non other than ScHoolboy Q. Do I really need to say any more? Check it out.

One More Time (Video) - Jon Bellion

It's just magic every time Jon Bellion gets behind the mic, and this time is no exception. Here he is with another track off his upcoming project, and I can already tell it's going to be a great one. Don't miss out.

I'm Sorry - KJ Hines

I'm going to start this one by saying I'M sorry. I've been sleeping on KJ Hines for a while now, but now that I've finally woken up, I would like to formally introduce you to him. Originally from Austin TX, he's now based out of The ATL, and he's got a great mix of that new school, Beast Coast, Chance The Rapper vibe with a bit of that classic southern hip hop swag. Check it out, and be on the lookout for more from KJ.

Innanetape (Mixtape) - Vic Mensa

Since first hearing the track Orange Soda back in June, I've been anxiously waiting for Vic Mensa to release his newest mixtape Innanetape. . Well the day's finally here, and this project is everything that I was hoping it would be and more. Each track manages to showcase Vic's skills in different ways. Honestly, I have a feeling that this tape will really put Vic Mensa on the map, so definitely prepare to see his name pop up in more places. Enjoy.
