We Own It - Mike Posner ft. T. Mills, Sammy Adams & Niykee Heaton

Fact: Mike Posner knows how to make amazing music. He recruits T.Mills & Sammy Adams for a verse each, and Niykee Heaton for some help on a gorgeous hook. Together, they've created a fantastic remix of 2Chainz and Wiz's track of the same name. Check it out and enjoy.

Nemos Home - Pries

I really don't understand why Pries doesn't get more hype than what he gets now. He's got a sharp flow that you can recognize instantly, and his tracks are always on point. Here's his latest drop, so check it out and enjoy.

My Vision (Video) - States

Guest Post:
"Real talk. My boy States goes straight through this track. Hard hitting flow from start to finish, nothing but love from me when I hear home-grown talent like this. Don't sleep on this one!"

Blood On The Leaves - PropaneLv

I hate to admit it, but I really wasn't a huge fan of Yeezus. To me, it sounded only half finished. But that being said, Blood on the Leaves was one of the few tracks that I actually kind of enjoyed, so when PropaneLv sent this cover my way, I was pretty eager to check it out. Now I'm a huge fan of Lv, but this track really didn't quite grab me until the beat dropped (around the 1:14 mark), but once it did, I was hooked. In other Lv news, he's officially announced that he's finally releasing his debut album, Varsity Blues, in September, so get excited. Enjoy the new track, and be on the lookout for more from Lv in the coming weeks.

Never Do Better - OnCue ft. Ro Ransom

In my personal opinion, this is probably the best track that Cuey has released since New Religion. A softer, more laid back beat from Felix Snow allows OnCue and Ro Ransom's flows to really shine. Check it out below.

All These Lights (Video) - The Grouch & Eligh (Prod. Pretty Lights)

What first got me with this one was the simple fact that it was a new track from The Grouch. In case you didn't know, The Grouch (along with Zion I) was one of the first guys who really got me into smart hip hop, so anytime I see a new track from him, I feel the need to check it out. The second thing that really got me interested in this one was seeing Pretty Lights on the boards. This is actually one of my favorite videos that I've seen in a long while, so don't miss out. Enjoy.

The Transition 2: Bright Lights, Big City (Mixtape) - YONAS

First off I want to start by apologize for being a day late on this one. It was my first night at my new job yesterday, so I didn't exactly have a ton of time to give YONAS' new project a proper listen. Now that I have, I can confidently say that it has lived up to and exceeded all the expectations. All the tracks are thoroughly enjoyable, and I could challenge you to find a single one that isn't. Definitely not a project that you  will want to sleep on. Check it out below.

Amethyst Rockstar - Joey Bada$$ ft. Kirk Knight

Joey Bada$$ let loose another cut off his upcoming project Summer Knights, and this time he recruited fellow Pro Era member Kirk Knight to help him jump on some sick production from MF DOOM. Check it out.

Cheap Drink - Radical Something

I love the summer, and as I seem to say over and over again, summer is the season for Radical Something. The guys got together again and have brought us another fantastic track. I will say that Cheap Drink sounds a tiny bit different than what we've heard from Rad in the past, but if you ask me that's a good thing, because it shows that these guys are still willing to evolve their sound, which is one of the keys to success in this game. Anyway, check out the great track below.

Young OG - Fabolous

Fab's tape Loso’s Way 2 has been in the works for some time now, and once again, it's been delayed. Upside though, he's decided release track to hold us over. If Young OG is any indication of what the tape's going to be like, I can't wait. Check it out below.

Lies We Paid For (Video) - M.i x Tyler Keyes

Any excuse to share M.i and Tyler Keyes' fantastic project Pushing Keyes again is a good one. The guys decided to put together a video for one of my favorites off the tape, so check it out above. And if you still haven't checked out Pushing Keyes yet, you need to go do that now. Enjoy.

Let Nas Down (Remix) - J. Cole ft. Nas

Cole made Nas proud.

In case you're behind, here's the short: Cole's been a fan of Nas since he was a kid. Cole met Nas for the first time, Nas said he was a fan of Cole. Cole released radio hit Work Out, Nas said he didn't like that Cole lowered himself to that level. Cole releases an amazing album, Born Sinner, with Let Nas Down on it. Nas hears it and responds.

Chasing Down A Dream (Video) - Futuristic ft. Devvon Terrell

Futuristic just keeps getting better. With each new track that I hear from him, his delivery and flow just keeps getting better. Some great rhymes from Futuristic and an extremely catchy set of vocals from Devvon. Chasing Down A Dream has the kind of sound that could have some serious mass appeal, so don't miss out on it. Enjoy.

Rise of The AU - Issa Gold (of The Underachievers)

The beast coast has been killing it lately. First Flatbush ZOMBiES drops the sick track Palm Trees, and now Issa Gold (of The Underachievers) has killed it too. Issa's rhymes are high energy and the beat slow and heavy footed beat. A twisted and infectious combination. Check it out below, and be on the lookout for The UA's newest video, coming sometime next week.

Girls of Summer (Video) - YONAS

The day before his mixtape The Transition 2 drops, YONAS has decided to give us a little treat. His final leak off the tape now has a fantastic set of visuals to go with it. Four minutes straight of three gorgeous girls running around doing an obstacle course in skimpy clothing? Yes please. Enjoy, and watch out for The Transition 2.

Too High Up - DJ 21azy

DJ 21azy does it again. I'm still listening to his last track, Sexy Girls Round Here, that he released last month,  but that being said there's still no way I'm going to complain about a new mash. Too High Up is a fantastic blend of everyone's favorite, Skizzy Mars, with some Ryan Tedder, Louis The Child and King L. Not a drop to miss.

I Choose U (Kasum Remix) - Timeflies

Need a perfect track for your Friday night? My man Kasum's got you covered. After a long time in the mashup game, he's decided to diversify himself a little bit, and what a way to start. Kasum has taken on the radio hit I Choose U by a HotLeaks favorite, Timeflies, and has given it a whole new, unbelievably enjoyable feel. Seriously, don't sleep on this one. Enjoy it.

Table Tennis - Domo Genesis

Now this is impressive. First off, the sample is unreal. It pulls you in and makes you feel all warm inside. Secondly, Domo's flow is absolute fire. don't let yourself miss out on this one.

Operate (The Chainsmokers Remix) - ASTR

The Chainsmokers just keep moving their way up on my list of favorite producers. Their previous release, a fantastic remix of Say Lou Lou, has recently become one of the most played songs on my iPod, which is actually saying a lot, because I have a TON of songs on there. Anyway, this is their latest remix, and once again, I think they've absolutely nailed it. Check it out below.

Sober - Johnny Astro

Now here's a treat for your Thursday night. The always fantastic Johnny Astro has blessed us with a brand new release, the first off his upcoming project #TheSkyIsBroken. Now I've been a fan of Johnny Astro for quite some time now (the first song I posted of his was "Someday", which was back in December '11), so I feel like I can confidently say that he keeps gets better and better with each new project that he puts together. And it's not like he was bad to being with, because his starting point was actually pretty solid. That's why with this new track, I'm even more excited for #TheSkyIsBroken than I was before. Sober has some great lyrics and flow from Johnny, and a fantastic mellow and haunting beat. Don't miss out on this one, and be on the lookout for the upcoming tape.

F'N Right - Jon Connor ft. Freddie Gibbs

No way I was passing this one up. Jon Conner decided to leak a track off his upcoming project, Unconcious State, featuring the one and only baby faced killer, Freddie Gibbs. Both Gibbs and Conner's flows are absolutely on point, but really, would you expect anything less? Check it out.

Ride For My Nigga - YG ft. Jeezy & Rich Homie Quan

Ready for some hood shit? YG teams up with Jeezy (his new boss since signing to CTE) and Rich Homie Quan to give you just that. This sounds exactly like you think it would sound, so no surprises here. Enjoy.

We Can't Stop (Video) - Miley Cyrus

People keep hating on this one, but I still say that it's catchy as hell. Plus it now has a video that completely compliments Miley's new image. Enjoy.

Young And Beautiful (No Pets Allowed Remix) - Lana Del Rey

This is fantastic. No Pets Allowed has taken a gorgeous track from The Great Gatsby's soundtrack by Lana Del Ray, and given it a whole new, amazing feel. He adds some energy to it by mixing in some great chillstep, but still manages to maintain the relaxed and lofty feel of the original. Don't miss out.

Higher - Triy

I would now like to introduce you to Triy, a 22 year old artist out of Boston. Now to be honest with you, I really don't know that much about this guy, other than this his first single off his upcoming project, Unexpected Journeys. I can tell you one thing though: if the rest of his project sounds anything like this track, I will definitely be interested in it

Diamond Thrones - The White Panda

And it beings. It's only been a week since The White Panda dropped their amazing mash album Bearly Legal, and they've already released their first full length drop off of it. I give you Diamond Thones. It's actually one of  my favorites off the album, but that may be just because I'm a huge GoT fan. Anyway, enjoy it below, and if you haven't yet, you need to go download Bearly Legal.

Palm Trees - Flatbush ZOMBiES

Here's a dope new leak off Flatbush ZOMBiES' highly anticipated project, BetterOffDEAD. Erick Arc crates a lofty and haunting beat for Juice, Darko, and himself all to spit straight fire on. If you're not down with the beast coast yet, it's time to get familiar. Don't sleep on this one.

Wake Me Up - Avicii ft. Aloe Blacc

I am addicted to this track. In case you didn't know this little fact about me: I was raised a country/folk music boy. It wasn't until junior high school that my love for hip hop really started to bloom. That being said, at any one of my family gatherings, you are without a doubt going to hear country or folk music on in the background (if someone isn't already playing it themselves on the guitar of course). So now you might understand why I am so inclined to love this track as much as I do. Now keeping in mind this new track from Avicii probably won't get the same play time as levels, I can still guarantee that you'll hear it spun more than a few times. Check it out below, and prepare to have it on repeat.

Zion - Donnie Trumpet ft. Chance The Rapper & Vic Mensa

Here's a fantastic new track from Donnie Trumpet, where he's decided to put his own melow spin on Lauryn Hill's classic track To Zion with a little help from Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa. Now I know what you're thinking: "Who the hell is Donnie Trumpet?", but I can assure you, you already know him, even if you don't recognize his name. Last month, it was announced that the group Kids These Days was separating. A couple weeks later we found out that Vic Mensa, the rapper of the group, had broken out and had started to do his own thing (check out Orange Soda if you haven't yet). That brings me to my main point: Donnie Trumpet is actually another fantastic former member of KTD, and has decided to keep doing his thing and creating gorgeous music. Well I for one am happy to continue listening, especially when he creates tracks like this. Enjoy this one.

Made To Love - John Legend

Simply put, listening to John Legend just feels good. Now although there's nothing really extraordinary about the depth of the lyrics on this one (it pretty much just repeats itself the entire track except for a 20 second bridge verse), but you can't deny that it's still really enjoyable to listen to. Check it out below.

U.O.E.N.O (Remix) - Pretty Boy Cuv

I introduced you to Pretty Boy Cuv almost a month ago with his original track All I Need, but in case you didn't pay attention then, here's him flexing on a beat that you might recognize. Now I said it last time, but I'll say it again, this kid's got a ton of talent. His flow is swift and hard hitting and his lines are smart. It actually reminds me a bit of Logic's older stuff, which is pretty huge. Check it out, and be on the watch for more.

Watching Movies (Video) - Mac Miller

With the release of Mac's WMWTSO less than 4 days away, he decided to hold over the fans with a new track & video. With a trippy beat, twisted flow and a ridiculous video, Watching Movies is bound to keep you occupied until his album drops. Enjoy.

Classic (Remix) - Cisco Adler ft. Sammy Adams

Ready for another perfect summer anthem? Cisco Adler hooked up with Sammy Adams to create a fantastic new remix to his already great track Classic. Chilled out vibe that just screams summer feel good. Check it out below.

Blurred Lines - Asher Roth

This is actually fantastic. I really didn't know what to think when I saw that Asher had decided to throw down on Robin Thicke's hit track Blurred Lines, but after pressing play, I was actually really impressed. Asher's flow really works well with this beat. Check it out below, and be on the lookout for his upcoming project, The Greenhouse Effect Vol 2.

I Don't Believe You - G-Eazy ft. Team Robot

G-Eazy hooked up with Team Robot again (who you might recognize from their previous collab Run off G-Eazy's Endless Summer), and once again they've created a banger. You're definitely going to want to check this one out.

Kush Do (Remix) - Rockie Fresh ft. Wiz Khalifa

When first listening to Rockie Fresh's Birthday Tape, Kush Do was one of the standouts. That being said, you knew at some point a stoner rapper was going to jump in and do a remix to it, and who better to add a verse than Wiz Khalifa. Forgot to post this yesterday, so instead you get to enjoy it today.

Scarle†† Sage (Album) - Jez Dior

Wow. Absolutely amazing. I've honestly been waiting for this project since first hearing Jez Dior back in September (when he burst onto the scene with his fantastic track Candles). There's just something truly entrancing about the way that Jez puts together his lines, and I can guarantee that you'll see what I mean after downloading the album. Every single verse in every single track is dripping with raw emotion, all based on his own personal experiences, and while listening to them, you just can't help but be taken on a journey. Over the last 9 months, we've gotten tastes of this project (Candles, Love Me To Death, Dream Catcher, Hide, and most recently Move On), but even those couldn't prepare you for how spectacular Scarle†† Sage actually turned out to be. I really can see Jez becoming huge if he continues to create art like this. This is NOT a project that you'll want to sleep on. Enjoy.

Bang - KYLE ft. Mr. Man

No pun intended, but this new drop from KYLE and Mr. Man is a banger. From what I gather, this joint came out a couple weeks ago, but personally I just found out about it today. It's the kind of track that gets you absolutely amped the second the beat hits. Seriously, check this one out.

No Shame No Regrets (Mixtape) - Emilio Rojas

In case you weren't a fan of Emilio Rojas before, you definitely will be after listening to his latest project, No Shame, No Regrets. In case you didn't know this by now, I'm a huge fan of artists who can tell a story when they rhyme, and Emilio does just that. Every single one of his tracks is like a miniature memoir, which when combined with his quick hitting flow, creates something great. Don't sleep on this one.

My Money Jam - Hassani Kwess

It's been a minute since we've heard from Hassani Kwess (his last feature on HotLeaks was with his track Jolly Rancher with Uno Hype last August), so it's pretty refreshing to see a new track. I will admit that the beat on this one is a little tough to first get into, but once Hassani starts doing his thing on it, all you want to do is turn it up. Check it out below.

King Lear (Video) - Sam Lachow

How did I miss this one? One of my favorite artists, Sam Lachow, decided to put together a new track, and just as you would probably expect, it's fantastic. Smooth flow and thoughtful lyrical content on this one really show why Sam is one of the best up and comers in the game right now. Enjoy this one.

Collard Greens - ScHoolboy Q ft. Kendrick Lamar

Another cut off ScHoolboy Q's Oxymoron, this time with a feature from Kendrick Lamar (who raps in spanish at one point?). Its got sick flow from ScHoolboy Q (but that was to be expected), and a hook that just floats and then gets stuck in your head. Not a track to miss out on.

Santa Barbara (Video) - Radical Something

I feel like Radical Something is the perfect embodiment of summer, and every time you listen to them, you just can't help but feel good. Santa Barbara, in case you missed it last year, is a track off Radical's Summer Of Rad mixtape, and it now officially has a fantastic video to make your eyes feel as good as your ears do. Enjoy this one, and be on the look out for some fresh Radical Something coming in the next couple weeks.

Revenge Of The Beast (Mixtape) - Kings Dead

And it's finally here. The Kings Dead's "sophomore" project has finally been released, and I can say that it is every bit as great as we had hoped it would be. It's no secret that when The Dean's List decided to change direction, and take the creative step to become Kings Dead, they were met with some backlash. When they released their debut album Jerusalem, you can safely say that some of their fans were not really impressed. Personally, I loved the project, and at the time I could really hear the growth in their sound so I was excited to see where they would go. Well here it is almost 9 months later, and I can confidently say that I love where they've gone with their sound. Now although this project has a ton of growth and maturity from Kings Dead, you can clearly tell that they have taken pieces of their Deans List sound and really evolved them into something great. But enough of me talking about it, I'll just let you give it a listen below. Enjoy.

This Is My $ong 4 Radio (Video) - Marc Goone

I honestly can't get enough Marc Goone. He released his unreal mixtape I Am Not A Lobster OK just under a month ago, but I can tell you that it has already become a classic on my iPod. Every time one of the tracks comes on, I just have to stop and listen to the entire track. That actually says a lot because I find myself flipping through songs non stop (in a half hour drive, I'll usually only listen to one full song. The rest of the time is spent trying to find a song I want to listen to). But anyway, he decided to put together a video for this track, and it manages to play into the lyrics just perfectly. Enjoy it, and if you haven't yet, you need to to check out the mixtape.

Gees - Mac Miller ft. ScHoolboy Q

With the release of Mac's Watching Movies With The Sound Off just over a week away, you knew the leaks were bound to start any time. Here's the latest, and although it sounds a little odd on your first listen, there's something infectious about it. Check it out below.

Move On - Trey Palms ft. Raja

First off, I LOVE this sample. Secondly, I've said that Trey Palms is an absolutely fantastic artist time and time again, but in case for some ridiculous reason you STILL don't believe me, he shows you why he really is with this track. His flow is both smooth and tight, and his rhymes are something to be reckoned with. Plus he managed to grab a fantastic feature from Raja, who you might recognize from his great features on XV tracks. You can't not enjoy this one.

I'm Not Sorry (Acoustic Version) - Mike Stud

For his latest release, Mike Stud has decided to put together an acoustic version of his track I'm Not Sorry, which is off his album, Relief. Every single time Mike releases an acoustic version of one of his tracks, it turns to pure gold, and this one if no different. Enjoy it.

Bearly Legal (Album) - The White Panda

Holy shit. It's been over a year since we were blessed with BamBooYah! from The White Panda but I can honestly say that it still finds its way into constant rotation on my iPod. Whenever I need to either sit down and focus for an hour, or just feel the need to enjoy great music, I still just press play at the beginning of BamBooYah and listen all the way through. I can confidently say that Bearly Legal is officially on that same level, if not even better. From beginning to end, it is filled with absolutely spectacular mashups that you will find yourself enjoying for a long, long time. Everything from Krewella x Coldplay to Rihanna x Game Of Thrones. Bearly Legal is not a project that you will want to sleep on. Check out the full mix below, but then when you download it, you can either get it as a set or as individual tracks. Enjoy this one.

Dollar Bills - Tarik ft. Jitta On The Track

Welcome back Tarik! It's been a while since we've heard anything new from him here on HotLeaks (almost a year now since he and Mike Stud released You Don't Know Me), so it's great to hear a fresh leak off his upcoming project, Here To Stay. Both Tarik and Jitta absolutely kill this track, and it's the perfect one to just blast real loud as you roll down the street. Don't sleep on this one.

Cycle Of Nightmares (Video) - e-dubble

One of my favorite tracks off e-dubble's  EP Reset finally has a great set of visuals to go with it. He wrote this one while going through some personal stuff, and when you give it a listen, you can really hear the  emotions in his lyrics, which is great (From a lyrical perspective, not the fact that he was going through some tough stuff). Check it out above, and if you haven't yet, go check out Reset on iTunes.

The Rockers - Action Bronson & Wiz Khalifa

Here's the latest cut off Action Bronson's upcoming EP, Saab Stories, with a huge feature from none other than Wiz Khalifa. Catchy and smooth would be the best way to describe this joint, so definitely check it out. Enjoy.

5pm In Ottawa (Video) - Artiztik

Guest Post:
"Flow on this joint is dope, quick-hitting and fluent. Remix of Drake's 5am in Toronto. You'll keep this one on repeat for awhile, trust me. Artiztik killed this, give some love for Ottawa."
- Chase

Epic Enough - San Dalva

Guest post:
"Nice, clean mash of Cole's Can't Get Enough over some hype electronic beats. Perfect for the weekend rager. Went straight to my pregame playlist, give it a listen."
 - Chase

Forbidden Fruit - J. Cole ft. Kendrick Lamar

One of the most anticipated collabs off Cole's Born Sinner has leaked. A really simple beat that manages to showcase Cole's flow perfectly. A surprise for this one though is that Kendrick is only featured on the hook, and doesn't actually have a verse. Not that I'm complaining, because it actually works really well, but it still would have been great to hear a few bars from Kendrick. Anyway, wasn't going to let you miss this one. Born Sinner, coming June 18th.

Thursday, June 6, 2013

Good Morning - Emilio Rojas

Here's the final leak off Emilio Rojas' upcoming project, No Shame...No Regrets. This great new track should hold you over until the tape drops next week. Enjoy it.

Not A Worry - Kings Dead

If I'm being honest with you, when I first pressed play on this one, I thought this track was a joke. It starts with a chipmunk version of the Zac Brown Band, so you can understand why I though that. But after you get past that, it actually turns out to be a pretty catchy track. Not quite the combination of old and new sound that I've really come to like from Kings Dead, but it's still pretty enjoyable. Check it out below.

Move On - Jez Dior

Like I said last time he released a track, I am a huge fan of Jez Dior. That being said, it honestly took me a listen or two to really get into this track. I think it's the fact that all his previous drops have had softer guitar pieces in their melodies, so I didn't really expect the beat to have dubstep elements. But it's still a fantastic track, and after the 3rd listen, I'm hooked. I'm really excited for when Scarlet Sage finally drops. Enjoy.

Wednesday, June 5, 2013

Poor Decisions - Wale ft. Rick Ross & Lupe Fiasco

I completely forgot to share this one with you guys the other day. Wale teamed up with Rozay and Lupe for a track that actually has a solid message. A nice change from the bangers we're used to hearing from MMG. Check this one out.

Machines - The Kickdrums & OneCue

For his latest, OnCue decided to jump on The Kickdrums' instrumental of the same name, and he absolutely killed it. A laid back flow from Cuey, but it still manages to be quick hitting. Don't sleep on this one.

Wagon Wheel (Timeflies Tuesday) - Timeflies

It's been a little while since we've gotten a new Timeflies Tuesday release, but just like every time the drop a new one, it feels like they never left. No real explanation is needed because I know you're going to press play anyway. Enjoy.

Tuesday, June 4, 2013

Girls Of Summer - YONAS

Here's the final leak off Yonas' upcoming mixtape, The Transition 2, which drops June 25th. This is the perfect track to add to your summer playlist. I can see blasting this one as you cruise to the beach. Don't sleep on it, and be on the lookout for The Transition 2.

No Hesitation (Video) - Huey Mack

The first of many new releases from Huey Mack. For the next couple months he's decided that he'll release a new track every Monday, and after hearing this one, I can honestly say that I'm kind of excited for them. No Hesitation is probably the best I've heard Huey spit in a while, so definitely check it out.

Crooked Smile - J. Cole ft. TLC

Another AMAZING leak off Born Sinner. If by some unthinkable chance you still weren't excited for Cole's upcoming album, this new track with R&B supergroup TLC is sure to get you pumped. Seriously, I'm counting down the seconds until June 18th. Enjoy.

Orange Soda (Video) - Vic Mensa

For those of you who don't know, the great Chicago band known as Kids These Days have officially gone their separate ways. Vic Mensa was actually the rapper in the group, but since the split he's now decided to create his own music, and let me tell you, I'm a fan. He's got a sound that reminds me a bit of Chance The Rapper, but with a little more overall group appeal (because we all know Chance is hit or miss with a lot of people). Check this one out for sure, and be on the lookout for more from this kid.

We Can't Stop - Miley Cyrus

Despite this joint getting a lot of heat around the web, I actually find it really catchy. It's like a slowed down, more mature (if mature means singing things like "everyone in line in the bathroom, trying to get a line in the bathroom") Party In The USA. Check it out and make your own opinion.
