Looks Like Sex - Mike Posner

Well, it got teased on The Layover with about a minute and half snippit, and now Mike drops the official track. The teaser did exactly what it was supposed to, and made me really want to hear the actual track, so I was pumped when I saw that it dropped. Great track, but really, is that any surprise? Didn't think so. Enjoy.

Patience Is A Virtue (Mixtape) - D. Worthy

I love getting emails, especially when they are about great new emerging artists. This time I got hit with a fresh face known as D. Worthy. D. Worthy is a great new artist originally from Cleveland (seems like a lot of talent comes from Cleveland), but now lives in Vancouver, Washington. He's got a real tight and frosty flow, with some smooth rhymes. Overall, I'm impressed with this guy, so be on the watch for more from him. Enjoy.

The Delta Project (Mixtape) - Jay Fresh

And it's here. The highly anticipated project from Jay Fresh, The Delta Project. Every track, as I explained before, is Jay going in over Pretty Lights beat. I had high hopes, because I am a big fan of Pretty Lights, and of course a big fan of Jay Fresh. I was really happy with the result of this tape. Overall, it's smooth, professional, smart, and just really enjoyable to listen to. Jay Fresh has some serious kill as an artist, and I think he's really underrated in the game right now. Anyway, peep a couple of my favs, then go cop the whole tape.

Psynapse Like You - The White Panda

Pretty sure I'm going a little overboard with the mashups tonight, but I couldn't not post some new White Panda. Just when I thought Adele samples were dead, and could never be resurrected, The White Panda mange to bring it back to life, and makes it sound fantastic with some Deadmau5. Enjoy it.

Dreamer - iSH

It's been a long while since we've heard anything from iSH, so it's great to hear something new. In case you don't know his name, iSH is a great artist who was actually from Canada originally, who is actually dipping his hand int he acting game as well. To be honest, his tracks are always unreal, so I'm down for more music personally, but if acting is your thing, then all the power to ya. Anyway, this track is a real smooth joint, with fantastic flow and a great beat. Dreamer is overall, a great track. Check this one out for sure.

Chicks Crush Strobe Lights - DJ Beemer

Beemer is back with another banger, and once again, it's pretty dope. He splices up some Deadmau5 with Ellie Goulding, and then mixes some Axwell, Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Nero and Guetta in there too. Overall, a great mix. He manages to blend these tracks extremely well. It seems like with each joint Beemer drops, his mixing is getting better and better, so I'm excited to see where he ends up. Enjoy it.

The Dream (Video) - The Dean's List

Great video for an amazing track. The Dean's List drops the official visuals to their joint The Dream, off their latest mixtape, The Drive In. The Dream has to be one of the coolest tracks off The Drive In. It starts heavy, dark and hollow, but then transforms into a fantastic upbeat track. One might even say from a nightmare to a dream. ANYWAY, enjoy the visual treatment.

Journey Without You (3LAU & Acetronik Masup) - Journey x David Guetta x Usher

3LAU has to be one of my favorite in the game right now. His tracks always manage to get me pumped, and this one is no exception. It's not quite as upbeat as his previous drops, but it's still unreal. I know you'll enjoy this one.

Romantic Comedy (Mixtape) - Ground Up

And the streak continues. Ground Up dropped a new mini-mixtape, and as always, it's fantastic. These guys continue to impress me. Romantic Comedy is technically just a teaser mini-tape in anticipation for their album dropping soon, but in all honestly, it plays like a full mixtape. Each track is really well thought out, with dope heavy beats throughout, and of course, sick flow. Ground Up goes hard again. I am continuously impressed by the diversity of their sound. Enjoy, and cheers to this rap shit.

Beach City Bitch - Crooked I

I saw this and I couldn't pass it up. Some dope new Crooked I. He jumps on Tyga's beat, and wrecks it. I have been a Crooked I fan for a long time now, so when he drops a new joint, I can't not check it out. This track is tough stuff so enjoy it.

Haunted (Video) - SonReal ft. Ali Milner

Start off the night with a fantastic video. SonReal dropped the official visuals for his amazing joint Haunted, off his latest mixtape, Where's Waldo. I personally love when a video tells a great story, and Haunted does just that. Plus, it syncs up with the track extremely well, so it's just perfect in my mind. Enjoy the video.

Bang Bang - Kixxie Siete & Artie McCraft

Now this is sick. Ill flow that goes non stop, over a dope beat, all teamed with a surprisingly catchy hook. Kixxie Siete teams up with fellow Yacht Club member, Artie McCraft, and absolutely wrecks this joint. Real hip hop right here. Enjoy this one.

The Juicy Sign (Biggie Smalls X Ace Of Base) - Ryan Hemsworth

Perfect track for you to get pumped for your Saturday night. Ryan Hemsworth is a fantastic artist/producer out of my hometown, Halifax, Nova Scotia, and he's really making waves in the game. A while ago, he dropped a mixtape with Shady Blaze, which was dope, so definitely check that out. Anyways, here's the real reason why you checked this out: B.I.G. vs. Ace Of Base? I think so. Ryan did this joint a few years back, but it just popped up on my radar, so I figured I would share it with you. Enjoy.

Floyd Mayweather (#TheMoneyTeam) - Ka$ual Ka$

It's been a minute since we've heard from Kas, but it was well worth the wait. Floyd Mayweather is a head bobbin joint that's real catchy, and has some dope flow all through it. Don't miss it, and be on the watch for more from Kas. Enjoy.

Friend Of The People (Mixtape) - Lupe Fiasco

I'll admit it, Lupe is getting a little too political for me. Yes, I understand that hiphop started as a movement for change, but in all honesty, sometimes you that can turn a little preachy, and Lupe is starting to get there for me. Yes, I still think he's an amazing artist, and yes, he still has amazing tracks. This is the mixtape that I talked about before that Lupe was planning on releasing, and let me tell you, I may like it better than Lasers (which fell short for me). Yes, Lasers had some insane tracks, but the rest were clearly rushed, and even Lupe was disappointed with it. Anyway, enough of me blabbering about old new, so here's the new. Enjoy it.

Stars In My Eyes (Video) - The Original Rudeboys

I posted this song a ways back when these guys first hit the scene, and just a little bit ago, they dropped the official video for it. I will admit, I hate when videos don't have the song right away, but you know what, I can forgive it this time. The actual track starts one minute in, and after that, its one big treat for you ears. In case you missed it, The Original Rudeboys are a trio out of the inner city of Dublin, and just came together back in March. These guys are have made a huge name for themselves in the short time they have been around, so expect to see their name more often. Anyway, enjoy the visuals.

Get Me - Uno Hype

So glad Uno Hype is back on his grind. This new track doesn't disappoint, because it filled with smooth flow, with some great subtle instrumentals to back up his fantastic lyricism. This one isn't actually off his upcoming EP F*ck The Hype, but it's a great teaser for it. I've said it before, but you really should watch out for this kid, because he has great skills as an artist. Enjoy it.

Just A Dream - Jay Fresh

Another drop off Jay Fresh's upcoming tape, The Delta Project. His last track, Amazing, was fantastic, so I expected a lot from his next drop. Jay didn't disappoint with his wicked flow and delivery on Just A Dream. I'm really excited for this tape, so you should be too. Enjoy.

I Don't Have To Go - IanJ ft. Brianna Johnson

IanJ just dropped a brand new track, and it is fantastic. The beat is really catchy, the hook is fantastic and IanJ kills it overall. Great new track, so don't sleep. Enjoy.

Boulevard - Ground Up

New joint from the always dope, Ground Up. This one is off their upcoming mini mixtape (which I had no idea was even in the works) Romantic Comedy. I have heard just a few "mini-mixtapes" over the years, and every single one has been really sick, so if the rest of the tape sounds anything like this, I will be all over it. Enjoy it, and be on the watch for Romantic Comedy dropping the 29th.

It Goes Cold - AudioDax

Wow. Another fantastic new track from AudioDax. Still hot off Smile (seeing as they just released it LAST week), AudioDax gives us another great track. I think I figured out what it is about these guys that I love so much. It's their original, and consistently fresh sound. Check out the new one, and enjoy it.

Rigamortis (Remix) - Kendrick Lamar ft. Busta Rhymes

Yeah, you read it right. Bussa Buss jumps on the Kendrick Lamar joint Rigamortis for a verse, and to no surprise, he tears it to shreds. I always forgot, even though I really shouldn't, how dope Busta is. Anyway, enjoy the remix.

The Layover (Mixtape) - Mike Posner

This may be old new to some of you (because you know, a release from 2 days ago is "old"), but this new mixtape from Mike Posner is unreal. When I first heard that Mike Posner was dropping a tape, I was kind of apprehensive, I admit it. It wasn't for any reason in particular to be honest, just didn't really think much of it. Little did I know that The Layover was going to be this sick. I seriously dig every track on this one. Mike Posner really tears the entire tape apart. He grabs features from guys like Big K.R.I.T., Twista, CyHi, and Bei Maejor just to name a few, but he also kills his solo tracks too. Very glad I checked this one out. Enjoy it.

Not Over You (Cover) - Collin McLoughlin

Once again, Collin blesses us with a fantastic cover. This time, he gives us his take on Gavin Degraw's latest single, Not Over You, and to be honest, I love it. But really, is that any surprise to anyone? I didn't think so. Enjoy this one.

It's Tricky (Pretty Lights Remix) - Run DMC

Wow. This is so sick. Pretty Lights takes the classic joint from Run DMC, flips it, spins it a couple times, then kills it. Seriously sick. Don't sleep on this one.

WTF (Smile Future Remix) - Sol

Great "new" track from Sol. WTF is actually off his latest release, Dear Friends, Vol III, but Sol dropped this remix done by Smile Future earlier today. I loved the original, but this remix is just so smooth, and so catchy, you can't help but enjoy it. Check this one out for sure. Enjoy.

Love,Great.Humans... (Mixtape) - I.O.U.

Lo<3, Great.Humans...  is the latest mixtape from tho duo known as I.O.U.. To be honest with you, I didn't even know this was in the works, so when it hit my inbox, I was pleasantly surprised. Just like their tape, B.O.M.Bs, this one is filled with epic instrumentals, and fantastic flow. In case you don't know these guys, I.O.U is a duo consisting of Andrew "Buck" Buckner and Isaiah "Izee" McNeill, two college students out of New Jersey’s Rutgers University. Anyway, check out a couple of my favs from the tape, then go cop it. Enjoy.

Angels - I.O.U.

One 2 - Gate City Squad

This is fantastic. Everything about this track is just mint. To start off with, the beat is fresh and original. The hook is subtle but catchy, and the flow is just perfect. Overall, this track is unreal. I said it before, but these guys are going places. GCS has a sound that is so diverse and really has the potential to be appealing to everyone. Don't sleep on this one. Enjoy it.

Beautiful Fight (Video) - Kenton Dunson

Great visuals for a great track. Kenton Dunson drops some new visuals, and this time it's for his fantastic track Beautiful Fight. This video doesn't quite tell a story like Firestarter did, but it still overall very well done. I am becoming a huge fan of Kenton because his vocals and flow are both so smooth, and in case you haven't heard this joint before, you'll hear why I think that on this track. Enjoy.

Smile - AudioDax

Seriously, every single track that these guys put out is amazing, and just makes you feel good when you listen to it (one might even say it makes you smile). It's been a little bit since we have heard anything from AudioDax, but to be honest, if they keep putting out tracks like this, it is well worth the wait. Enjoy this one.

Unbelievers - The Dean's List

Some new ish from The Dean's List, and it's a banger. Sonney kills the flow as always, but Mik and Mendoza tear this apart. Over the last little while, I'll be honest, The Dean's List hasn't really been holding it down in my opinion. They have been dropping great tracks, but just not up to my expectations. Maybe my expectations are too high, but I know these guys are great, so I expect greatness. That's why I was pumped to hear this, because overall, it's a dope track. Check it out for sure.

Something I Said - Justin W.

It's been a long minute since I have heard anything from Justin W. I've seen his name all over the place producing tracks for people, but it's been a while since I have heard any individual tracks from him. Well, he's back, and he is killing it once again. This time, he has a video to accompany his dope new track. In case you haven't been following Justin W, you should get familiar, because he's got a real dope sound. Check it out, and enjoy.

Dear Industry (Video) - The Foodchain

So glad I heard about these guys, because if I didn't, I would have missed wicked tracks like this. The Foodchain recently released some visuals for their track Dear Industry, off their album Brunch. This track is is actually so raw, smooth, lyrical, and just overall, so dope. Plus, the video is pretty sick too. Like I said before, be on the watch for these guys, because they're gonna go places. Enjoy.
