Each track this kid drops, I am more and more impressed. Deon Chase is really maturing into his sound with each joint he drops. I am becoming more and more of a fan with each release, so I hope he keeps on the grind. Check it out and enjoy.
If you like what you hear, check out Deon Chase on facebook and twitter.
Wow. Just wow. I love video's like this. The ones that just suit the track PERFECTLY. If you know the track (From his album Zero Heroes in case you've been under a rock), you know it's fast, skilled, spastic, and just wild overall. The video shows off all of these traits of the track perfectly, so props to Rex Arrow for this one. Check it and enjoy it.
This is dope. Though you may not recognize his name by itself, B. Palma is one half of the duo known as Over 21. This is a brand new solo track from B. Palma, and let me tell you, I am impressed. The track has a wicked beat and catchy hook, plus, his flow is extremely smooth. Check out this track, and I can promise you'll enjoy it.
Jitta fell off my radar. I had first heard of him a while back, but unfortunately for me (and you as well), I didn't follow him on twitter or facebook after that, so his name just disappeared off of my books. I am so glad that I got word of him again. This track is amazing, and the video is equally as stunning. Jitta's lyrics hit heavy, and his flow is polished. Plus, he samples The Fray, which is dope. This one is actually off of Jitta's latest mixtape, Be Right Back, which he released back in August.Overall, an amazing song, so check out the visuals, then cop the track below.
***PLUS, a treat. Since I slept on it, here's Jitta On The Track's mixtape, Be Right Back ***
This is hot. PropaneLV is a new up and comer out of Portland OR. He's got a dope sound, which I am really digging right now. His spit is frosty, and I hesitate to say this, because I don't want it blown out of proportion, but his flow at some points on this track reminds me a bit of J. Cole. I will definitely be on the watch for more if he keeps up this dope sound. Check it, and enjoy.
Matt Clarke is making a name for himself. I know I say this every single time I post his stuff, but Matt really does sound as though he is maturing into his sound. His flow is getting so fluid, and his rhymes are on point. For this joint, he grabs the always dope Kam Royal for a verse, Rachel Adams for an amazing hook, and The Two Friends for this real catchy beat. Overall, I'm impressed. Check it out, and enjoy it.
Brand new track from 2AM Club. As always, it's unbelievably catchy. I am so glad that someone told me about these guys. The perfect blend of pop, electronic and hip-hop. Seriously, if you've been sleeping on these guys, get familiar. Enjoy.
So sick. As always, I am blown away. Kinetics & One Love absolutely kill this track. This one is another drop off their upcoming mixtape, Cross-Fading Back to Normal, which is going to be a tape entirely consisting of mashup/remixes. This track is amazing, and I know that all the other tracks will be just as great, so I'm extremely pumped for Cross-Fading Back to Normal. Anyway, listen to the brand new track, because I know you'll love it. Enjoy.
He's back with another banger. I'll be honest, I don't like the song Yeah 3X. I don't know what it is about it, but I just never enjoyed it. DJ Beemer manages to take the track and breath some life into it for me. He actually put together a really enjoyable mash. A perfect joint for you to blast tonight, because it friday, and you should be getting ready to rage (or already raging). Check it, and enjoy it.
I couldn't not post this. Brand new Lupe, off his upcoming album/mixtape, Friend Of The People, which from the sounds of it, will be a little bit a remix-ish tape, possibly. I'm down for that. Anyway, Lightwork, Lupe goes hard all over Bassnectar's remix of Ellie Goulding's track Lights. I'll be honest, not my favorite Lupe track ever, but still sick. Check it out, and enjoy.
I told you that you would see more of this guy. DJ 21azy, who's last track was a sick Chiddy Bang and Childish Gambino mash, is back, and this time he puts together a Mac's track Another Night, with the vocals from Cole's Who Dat. Unreal. I will be on the watch for more from DJ 21azy, so get familiar.
Brand new visuals from Modern Day Hippies. I'm a little late posting it, but good music is good music regardless. This one is for their dope track, Feel No Pain, off their recent album, Overture. A simple video, but it succeeds in showing off this great track. If you haven't yet, go grab Overture on iTunes. Enjoy.
Don't be quick to judge these guys. I got an email a few weeks back from a group called "Jellyfish Brigade", and I just kind of skimmed over it. A few days ago, I finally gave the joint a listen, and let me tell you, I'm impressed. Now, this has a little bit of a different sound than what I usually post, so don't be too quick to judge it. Give it a good listen through, because it's got a really cool sound. They blend folk and hip hop with electronic extremely well. Jellyfish Brigade is a newer duo based out of Portland, Oregon. Check out the track, and enjoy it.
About a year ago, Eddy B & Tim Gunter dropped their debut mixtape, Dear North Carolina, Welcome Back, and it was dope. I still regularly toss on some of my favorite tracks from it. Anyway, this new tape is once again is great. You can tell that Eddy B and Tim G have both grown a lot as artists over the last year, and here at HotLeaks, we've been with the for their entire journey. Well at least since HotLeaks started back in December. As always, some of my favorite joints, then you should definitely cop the whole tape below.
All I want to do is go to California now and live the carefree lifestyle. As I sit here and watch this awesome video for this fantastic track, I realize, I should probably be studying for midterms. Whoops. Check out the video, and if you haven't cop the whole album from Radical Something, We Are Nothing, now.
