Dope new track from AudioDax. In case you haven't heard of them, AudioDax is a two man Electronic Hip Hop band made up of members Thomas Balcom (Temble) and Matt Rivera (Krypton Flo). They put together really good music, and I have been following them ever since I heard their song "Make Noise". Check this new one out. Enjoy.
Let It Fly - AudioDax
PLUS a treat, their first song that got me hooked...
Make Noise - AudioDax
New track from Chuck Revere. In case you've been sleeping, check out his other tracks, Girl You Got It and Wasted. Of course this one is produced, once again, by Jon Kilmer. True To Myself has a a real laid back sound, which is a little bit different from his other tracks, but still good. Enjoy.
2 days after I post this song, Childish Gambino AKA Donald Glover (from the NBC series Community) releases a video. I really like this video, because it's just so simple. In case you slept on it, the track is below as well.
New joint from Demps. A fresh drop from his up and coming mixtape, Life Is Good. He said that if his status on facebook got 250 likes, he would release the video+song early. 256 likes and 37 comments later, we got hit with this one. Enjoy.
It's finally here. The highly antisipated mixtape from The Dean's List. This was well worth the wait. The Dean's List have really matured as artists since their Undeclared mixtape. Not saying that they were immature on Undeclared (which is a dope mixtape as well, so pick it up if you don't have it already), but their sound has grown up. Their lyrics are extremely thoughtful and creative on this tape, and their beats are very well put together and are catchy as hell. Grab this one for sure. As always, I've included a couple favorites. Enjoy this one, because I know I am, and will be for a while.
Olu gave us this feestyle a couple days ago. This one is dope, it doesnt even sound like a freestyle. All this track does for me is it gets me more pumped for Olu's new mixtape, P3, coming march 15. Enjoy
New artist to the game, A.B. hailing from Wheaton, Illinois. I got sent a taste of A.B. a little while ago, and I think his sound is pretty solid. His rapping is smooth, and well thought out which is a great thing to hear. He's says that he wrote his fist rap at age 9, so this 19 year old has been rapping longer than he hasn't. I'll admit, his sound is a little bit raw, but I can see A.B. really maturing over time. He just released a new 4 track album, called "C.D.". Get it? A.B.'s C.D.? ANYWAY, check this guy out, he could defiantly be making waves in the future.
Long Way - A.B. ft. Eian O'Brien, Jevon
Just the Track:
One of my fav tracks from C.D.:
Haunt My Dreams - A.B.
I have kind of been sleeping on this track, so I apologize. FlyRydaz (in case you haven't heard, check out their mixtape, Big Beats and Fly Shit) released this track a little while ago. A solid upbeat party track. Enjoy.
This song is dope. I spotted it over at Vibe To This a week or so ago, and I totally forgot about it until today. I'll be honest, I don't know much about Childish Gambino, but I want to hear more after this track. Enjoy
If you have ever been on Hot Leaks before today, you know I'm i huge fan of Truth Himself. He's one of those artists who has a real different sound that sets him apart, it's dope. Anyway, new track from his upcoming mixtape, Where's The Exit. Enjoy.
DOPE! An unreal track from my man Vizzy. Plus a feature from another favorite here on Hot Leaks, MGK. I said it once, I'm pretty sure I've said it twice, but I'll say it again, 2011 is Vizzy's year. Enjoy.
Hell yes. The day we have all been waiting for. The release of e-dubble's highly anticipated mixtape, Written Thursday. A collection of Freestyle Fridays remixed minus e-dub's famous outros ( Though I will admit, I do miss the outros a little bit, but I still have FF for them). I have been posting e-dub since the beginning of Hot Leaks, and been listening since before then. I'm pretty sure I have at least 30-40 of his Freestyle Friday's on my ipod. He is one of the realest artists that I have heard in a while, and is so consistently good that it shocks me sometimes. ANYWAY, grab this one for sure. A great addition to any collection. A couple of my favs, as always, below. Enjoy.
New joint from Matt Clarke. Cam has the hook on lock, and Matt seems to be growing as a rapper over his last few songs. On a side note for Cam, 1993 coming soon. Enjoy.
Spotted this one over at Sunset In The Rearview. I have featured a Big Z Remix here before, so I really dig his songs. This one is actually an original beat, which is pretty dope. Enjoy.
Another joint from Brooklyn rapper, TonyEmcee. I posted Don't Go a couple weeks back, and I was fishing around and came across this one on Tony's site. This one is tougher than his heart filled Don't Go, but Can't Stop Me really shows Tony's lyrical ability. Check this one out, and Enjoy.
DOPE! Moufy has released his highly anticipated mixtape today. I have posted a couple Moufy songs over the last couple weeks, and they have been getting rave reviews. This whole mixtape is unreal, I can't find one song I don't want to put on repeat. I've posted a couple of my favs below + the link to City Dreamin'. Enjoy
New comers to the game EKG, a new hip-hop duo out of Pennsylvania, drop this album on us. I had not heard of these guys until they sent me over a taste. I like what I hear. Here's a couple songs I really liked, and if you like their sound, head over to their site,http://elektrokardiogramm.bandcamp.com/to cop the whole album.
Dope. New PJ Simas. PJ and Jordan cover Cole's song Coming Home and I Need A Doctor by Dre and Em. PJ says he's about to start releasing a bunch of new music soon, so i'm getting pretty excited. Enjoy this one. Just the track below.
It's been a while since we have been hit with a track from these guys. This track is dope, which makes it well worth the wait. These guys seem to always kill their songs with wicked flow and amazing beats. Grab this one for sure. Enjoy.
A couple weeks back I posted this freestyle by Olu. Yesterday he released a finalized version where Suck Free CJ jumps on for a verse. You might recognize that name. Thats because CJ was on another dope Olu track, Jetpack Shit. Anyway, grab the final version of the song below. P3 coming March 15th. Enjoy.
I don't know how YP does it. He is one of the few artists who is pumping out new music, on what seems like a daily basis, at such a consistent level of quality. It seems like he lives in the studio. Another wicked track from YP. Grab it and Enjoy.
'Ye releases visuals for one of my favorite songs from his album. With the lyrics flashing across the screen in the first minute or so, I thought Kanye had gotten lazy and was going to do that for the entire video (which I honestly wouldn't put it past him to do). It wasn't as artistically amazing as i thought it would be, but is still good. Enjoy.
If you have ever visited the site, you know I'm a fan of Mother Earth Remixes. He just released a "new" track a few days ago, that is actually an old track he did, just revamped and tweaked a bit. I think this one is really well done, very mellow and enjoyable. Enjoy.
This one is from some new comers out of Bethesda, MD. These guy's started putting together music for fun back in '09, people at their high school started diggin them, so AP Bop turned serious. They sent me this song couple days ago, and it's been kind of on the back burner. They have a solid flow, and good rhymes on this party track. I'll admit, i'm not a huge fan of the beat, but honestly, it's growing on me the more and more I listen. Grab this one. Enjoy.
Fresh track from Chiddy Bang. When i first heard this I thought Xaphoon was doing his thing and sampling Train, but turns out this is a legitimate colab, which is dope. This is hot stuff. Enjoy.
Ground Up just released a video for, if you ask me, one of their best songs off their mixtape "Girls Who Smoke Cigarettes". They are releasing a mixtape in April, plus working on another video right now. Big things coming from Ground Up. Grab just the track below, or grab their whole"Girls Who Smoke Cigarettes" mixtape HERE. Enjoy
I realized today that I thought I posted some Demps songs in the past, but I actually didn't. Honestly whenever I grabbed one of his songs/mixtape/videos it was in the middle of a busy day, so I would never get around to posting it. I apologize for sleeping on this one. Introducing, Demps, and artist out of Western Massachusetts. He's got a fresh sound, and a real upbeat flow. He clearly puts some thought into his rhymes and his beats, and it really shows. Check out a couple of my fav tracks from his Campus Dead Beat mixtape below PLUS a freshly leaked song from his upcoming mixtape PLUS his official video that initially pulled me in. Enjoy.
Let Me Live - Demps
Know Who I Am - Demps
Forever Be Known Pt. II - Demps ft. Jenna Moynihan
Just the track:
Track from his upcoming mixtape Life Is Good dropping on April 12th. This one is real nostalgic for anyone who grew up in the 90's, because I know you all watched Rugrats. I'm looking forward to see Demps rise up this year.
Help a brother out. Free music comes at you daily, so every once and a while it's good to support an up and comer. Pick up "I Got It" in iTunes
Riley just released his LP Nobody's Perfect. I've posted a few of Riley's songs over the weeks (In My Head, Hollywood, and Nobody's Perfect) because I really dig his sound. Plus, he's got such a dope voice, that is so distinct from other artists out there. His LP includes the songs mentioned + many more. I've included a couple of my favorite new ones below. Enjoy
This is dope. I hadn't heard of MattyFee until I spotted this over at GMAD. A seriously heart filled song, and Collin is dope on it as always. Grab this one. Enjoy
Unreal. I would have NEVER thought in 1000 years, that I would ever put a Katy Perry song on repeat. This one is actually very enjoyable, and is probably going to be huge. Ye's verses are dope of course, but seriously, grab this one. Enjoy
I realized it's been a while since I have posted a good mashup. A few weeks back, I posted another song by The Friendly Giant, calledDon't Stop This Plane. A friend saw it and suggested this one to me, and it's pretty solid. Airplanes by B.O.B, Opposite of Adults by Chiddy Bang, and Wonderwall by Oasis are the track put together on this one, and they flow surprisingly well together. Check it out and Enjoy.
Wicked new track from Uno Hype. Waiting on an MP3 for this one, but it's definatly a dope song. Be on the lookout for Uno Hype this year. *UPDATE* Ask and you shall receive. Shout out to Uno Hype for hitting me with the MP3 just seconds ago. Enjoy.
Hoodie with his debut video, for one of my favorite songs off his Pep Rally mixtape. This video is very well done, very artistically well put together, and just enjoyable to watch. Enjoy.
WARNING, I will be up front, this is a little out there for Hot Leaks. But, all through rap history there have been those songs which are just so dark and heavy that you almost feel twisted listing to them. Songs like "Suicidal Thoughts" by Biggy, "Mind Playin Tricks On Me" by The Geto Boys, "Stan" by Eminem and "Dance With The Devil" by Immortal Technique. A friend of mine sent me this one. I think Tyler The Creator is there with these tracks. These are dirty, nasty, rough, and hard and his lyrics are unbelievably symbolic. You can't help but be pulled in and watch wide eyed on these ones. The more I listen and watch, the more I appreciate.
It's Here. Olu just released his mini-mixtape Boys and Girls. This is actually unreal. Every song is so well put together. Olu's flow and storytelling is unreal, his beats are on point, his hooks are addicting. I was excited about his upcoming mixtape P3 before, but now i'm going to lose sleep waiting. Enjoy this one. I couldn't figure my favorite tracks, but i have included a couple.
Pretty sure it's my birthday or something, the way music has been flowing out today, it's amazing. Fresh track from Sam, leaked on twitter a few minutes ago. Dope as always. Enjoy.
Fortune Family just released their EP Paradox. Solid mixtape, with some good new tracks PLUS a couple they have released over the last few weeks(Hasta La Vista, Take Me Away). I've included a couple new tracks below.
Another valentine's day release, this is getting crazy, I love it. Young Prince dropped this one over at GMAD as an exclusive, but I figured it was a dope track, so it needed to be on Hot Leaks. YP has been pushing non stop tracks for a while now, and he keeps getting better with each one. Enjoy.
A little while ago I posted Chuck's first single, Wasted, and people seemed to enjoy it. Now just in time for valentine's day, he's dropped another joint on us. Girl You Got it is pretty dope. Expect to see more of this kid on Hot Leaks. Enjoy.
Figured i would treat you right today. I put together a little list of some love related tunes tunes for those that are down with valentine's and some for those that aren't. Enjoy
Ok. So Kam promised us another taste of his up coming mixtape with another Lyrical Exercise, but only after his twitter account (@KAMroyal) got 200 followers. He jumped up to around 192 and just sat there, but today, he hit 202, so he released this one for us. His lyrical abilities never cease to amaze me because he's so smart and smooth with his flow. Grab this one fast. Enjoy.
This is pretty dope. Spotted this one on the good ol twitter. I had never heard of this guy Zak!, but he's got a solid following so clearly he's doing something right. This track is pretty addicting, got a dope hook and some sick flow. Enjoy.
I'll be honest, Mike Stud was really hit or miss with me. I've held onto hope, because I can see his flow is dope. With this track, he's defiantly stepped up his game. Plus the video is pretty funny. Grab just the track below.
Olu shows off his lyrical storytelling abilities on this track. He leaked this gem off his up coming mini mixtape called Boys And Girls, appropriately being released on Valentines Day. Enjoy and get excited for P3.
A few weeks back I introduced you to MDH. People went pretty crazy for these guys, seeing as the Intro page to MDH is the second most visited page in Hot Leaks history. They just released a new track last night, just in time for valentines day. This one is dope. These guys have such a distinct sound, original beats and refreshing vocals. It's great to see that these days. ANYWAY, grab this track, Enjoy it.
I said it when I first posted a Riley song, but i'm going to say it again, his sound is unreal. It's so refreshing. This new song is dope, the rapping is on point, and the hook is almost haunting, it works great. Enjoy
Tough song from Moufy. The last week or so I've posted a couple Moufy tracks, this one is defiantly much tougher than the previous. This is the 3rd track he's leaked off his up and coming mixtape City Dreamin coming on the 21st. Enjoy
Alright, the more I listen to this one, the more it grows on me. I hadn't heard of Absolute Pursuit until this joint was brought to my attention, but they are pretty good, with pretty smooth flow. It's cold as all hell where i'm at, so a summer song is almost warming me up which is good. Check it out.
Loggy just released this track. Dope song. Defiantly make me want all this snow and cold disappear and summer to be here. Waiting on MP3, but honesty i can bump this for a while. Enjoy
Why was I not aware of these guys? A friend of mine sent over this song, and i was hesitant. I think it's because of their name, I was thinking they were something crazy rough and dirty. I was wrong. These guy's have a dope old school feel to them. Check this out, and don't judge before you listen like i did.
It's here. I posted a couple joints Goone released from this mixtape a couple days ago, and now the full tape is here. An all around dope mixtape if you ask me, with a bunch of colabo's with a ton of wicked artists (Kam Royal, Mike Stud, Loggy). He clearly put some thought and heart into this one. Here's a couple of my favs, but defiantly download the whole tape, it's dope one for the collection. Enjoy
Chiddy and Xaphoon are back. I hope this is the start of Chiddy Bang releasing tracks more frequently, because i honestly haven't heard from them in a while. Pretty good track.
