Sunflowers - Jellyfish Brigade

Don't be quick to judge these guys. I got an email a few weeks back from a group called "Jellyfish Brigade", and I just kind of skimmed over it. A few days ago, I finally gave the joint a listen, and let me tell you, I'm impressed. Now, this has a little bit of a different sound than what I usually post, so don't be too quick to judge it. Give it a good listen through, because it's got a really cool sound. They blend folk and hip hop with electronic extremely well. Jellyfish Brigade is a newer duo based out of Portland, Oregon. Check out the track, and enjoy it.

Insomniac Dreams (Mixtape) - Eddy B & Tim Gunter

About a year ago, Eddy B & Tim Gunter dropped their debut mixtape, Dear North Carolina, Welcome Back, and it was dope. I still regularly toss on some of my favorite tracks from it. Anyway, this new tape is once again is great. You can tell that Eddy B and Tim G have both grown a lot as artists over the last year, and here at HotLeaks, we've been with the for their entire journey. Well at least since HotLeaks started back in December. As always, some of my favorite joints, then you should definitely cop the whole tape below.

No Throne - Eddy B & Tim Gunter

California (Video) - Radical Something

All I want to do is go to California now and live the carefree lifestyle. As I sit here and watch this awesome video for this fantastic track, I realize, I should probably be studying for midterms. Whoops. Check out the video, and if you haven't cop the whole album from Radical Something, We Are Nothing, now.

Lyrical Exercise #6 - Kam Royal

Kam Royal drops a brand new Lyrical Exercise for our listening pleasure. As always, it's sick. Kam actually put up a facebook status along the lines of "if I get 100 likes on this status ill drop lyrical exercise 6", and within a couple hours, he received 120 likes. After that, he gave us this gem. Once again, this one has a little bit of a more mellow vibe to it, but regardless, it's smooth. Check it and enjoy.

Cheer Up / Lost Ones / Lights Please Cover - PJ Simas

New cover from the always dope PJ Simas. This time he tackles three fantastic J. Cole tracks in one go. It's really well done, but that was expected, because everything PJ touches is golden. Check it out, and then DL it below.

College Boy Dreams (Mixtape) - Mr. Defoe

It's been a while since we've heard from Mr. Defoe. The last time (and first time) I heard from Mr. Defoe, he was on a dope track with a HotLeaks favorite, Olu. Since then, he's clearly been working his ass off, and clearly flying under my radar, because this tape is dope. In case you aren't familiar, Mr. Defoe is an up and coming artist based out of Ohio, and is a second year student at the University of Toledo. After listening to this entire tape, I can honestly say that this kid has got some serious talent. His flow is tight and polished, not to mention diverse. Each song sounds different, but he somehow keeps the same dope sound. Check out a couple of my favs, as always, below, then go cop the tape to help out a great up and comer.

Put It In Your Manners (Childish Gambino vs. Chiddy Bang) - DJ 21azy

Wow. That is all I have to say. I always loved the Chiddy Bang beat for Mind Your Manners, so when a newcomer DJ 21azy takes it and flips some Gambino verses on it, I couldn't help but grab it. Just check it out, and I know you'll enjoy it. Watch out for this guy, because you will definitely be seeing his name more often if he keeps the tracks as dope as this one.

Rigamortis (Video) - Kendrick Lamar

Now, I'm not going to pretend I loved Kendrick Lamar before seeing this. I knew about him, but I really never checked any of his stuff out. After seeing him on the BET Cypher, I had to give this guy a second look. He just released a new video for a dope lyrical masterpiece called Rigamortis, and it's fantastic. Check it out and enjoy it.

Get It Together (Mixtape) - Outasight

I don't know what it is about Outasight, but I can't help but thoroughly enjoy every track he does. This gem of a mixtape is actually a compilation of old and new Outasight tracks, which is dope. I was only made aware of Outsight at the end of August, so to hear a ton of songs like this, I am pumped. In case you've been sleeping, Outsight is a NY artist, who really transcends genres. I know, you hear that a lot these days, but seriously, he blends pop, hip-hop, electronic, and even the blues, like it's no problem. Each of his tracks sounds different, but still has a signature sound, which is dope. Anyway, check a couple of my favs below. Enjoy it.

The Graduate - Outasight

Stays The Same - Outsight

Shes Leaving Home - Outsight

Season Three (Mixtape) - Drew Howard

In case you don't recognize the name, Drew Howard is a dope 19 year old artist out of Ajax, Ontario. It's been a minute since I have posted anything from Drew, so for that I'm sorry. Season Three is his brand new mixtape that dropped a few days ago. I'm just getting around to checking it out, and let me say, I'm impressed. His flow is tight, and he's got a sound that's different from everyone else, which if you hit the site often, you know I dig. Anyway, I'll let the tracks speak for themselves, so here are a few of my favs. Enjoy.

So Far, So Good - Drew Howard ft. D-Pryde & Maribelle Anes

Kurt Cobain - Drew Howard

The Lights - Drew Howard

I Love Life, Thank You (Mixtape) - Mac Miller

And he reached it. Mac Miller started his #Road2AMillion fans a while back, and just today, he finally reached his goal. In celebration, Mac Miller dropped this little gem for the fans. At the time of me writing this, he's already at 1,004,763 followers on twitter, and in all honestly, it doesn't look like he's slowing down anytime soon. I feel like I don't even need to explain this one, because you know Mac, and your going to check this out regardless. All this mixtape did for me was get me more excited for Blue Slide Park, dropping soon. Enjoy.

Sweat - Bow Wow ft. Lil Wayne

I can see this being huge. A brand new leak off Bow Wow's upcoming mixtape. To be honest, I had no idea Bow Wow was still in the game, let alone releasing a mixtape. And to be honest again, I probably wont have any interest in it. This track is different though. The beat is catchy, Wayne is on point, and Bow Wow does his thing. Like I said, I can see this being a real big track, so prepare to hear it all over the place. Enjoy.

Rage Pack (Mixtape) - Machine Gun Kelly

And here it is. MGK's first release since his signing to Bad Boy Entertainment. I'll be honest, it's a hell of a lot better than I thought it would be. Not that I thought it would be bad, I just thought it would have sounded a bit manufactured, and it actually doesn't at all. I actually thoroughly enjoyed this one. MGK stayed true to himself, and it came out great. The whole tape actually sounds as though some serious thought and time was put into it, which is dope. As always, a few of my favs below, then go cop the whole tape. Enjoy it.

Chasing Pavements - Machine Gun Kelly

Fantasy (DIGIRAATII) - Machine Gun Kelly ft. Aaron Lafette

STFU - Machine Gun Kelly

Made Me Proud - Drake ft. Nicki Minaj

New leak off Take Care. As expected, it's dope. I think Drake's album is going to be sick if it keeps up with this great sound. Plus, my girl Nicki absolutely kills it, as always. Enjoy.

All The Shine - Childish Gambino

Now this was fun. Gambino tweeted about a site. At first, I thought nothing of it. He then followed it up by saying the following:

After that I figured, hey, I'm procrastinating, so why not dig through this site for shits and giggles. At first glance it looked like a Korean girl's tumblr page, filled to the brim with random cuteness. After going through a couple pages, I came across this video:

Yes, Childish Gambino had hidden stuff in a created tumblr account. I dug a little bit furthur and spotted a single play-able link, with no description. This was the gem I was looking for. Some unreleased Gambino. All The Shine is actually a rough live studio cut that he put together a few weeks ago, but its a great taste of whats coming with Camp, so get excited.

***UPDATE*** Gambino dropped a CDQ version.... So dope. ***UPDATE***

Plus another treat I found on the site. Another video, and this one is a big teaser of another track. I'm so pumped.
